Haha, yeah. The who project is great (sideproject of Riverside's singer), and relaxing too. This one reminded me of Ghost.

Yeah it did kind of remind me of Ghost. I liked it a lot. Definitely could use more music like that.

I've been listening to a ton of Ayreon lately. Mainly the albums that follow the Final Experiment plot.

Same here. I need good sleeping music. :X

I'm listening to THE right now, but I rarely listen to Ayreon lately, I listened to too much at a time before. >.>

Sleeping music is always good, but I rarely ever sleep with music so it doesn't bother me much lol.

Nice. I can't get enough of that album... it's just so powerful to me. Such a great story and cast. I got a friend of mine really into his work too. She loves it to death.

I pretty much have to - I usually have a really hard time falling asleep, just can't stop thinking about stuff. That's where the music comes in...

It really is great. Too bad I don't have any friends who like metal. :X

I've got a task for you: I need music like the first Mechanical Poet album (have I shown it yet? if not, check out 'Old Year's Merry Funeral' and 'Natural Quaternion'. By far my favorite album right now.

What does a 15 year old think about laying in bed besides porn, food, and school work? hahaahahahaahaha :D

Yeah that is a real bummer... the ironic part about this is, that I need more friends that listen to other stuff other than metal and country >.< and lame hip-hop.

That is a great task, you know. That one album you showed me (OYMF) is one of a kind. Literally. I've not heard anything remotely close to it.

Lots of things. And I don't like porn. >.<

Haha, most of my friends listen to either very poppy stuff, or more mainstream rock. Or both. Poppy stuff includes mainstream dubstep, which, sadly, is very popular heree.

Well yeah, that's what I love about it. But I need more! :D Sadly their later stuff isn't as good.

I was more or less making a joke. hahahahaah. Porn is awesome. You are a strange teen let me tell you that.

Eww. DupStep is getting popular here. but not as popular as the people who listen to it want it to be. hahahaaha

That sucks, but that is the only album I have heard from them yet. It is very good (and strange). Ill have to check out the other one you mentioned.

    Why would I be strange?Oo

Meh, I still think that rap is worse than dubstep - it has even less melody or feelings in it. :x

Umm, these are songs, the album is Woodland Prattlers. Their EP before that is similar in style, but not as good. And I really can't find anything nearly similar.

You are just the most mellow teenager I have ever...met? Talked to. there you go. LOL

I dunno. Some rap has some good beats and great feeling to it, you just have to find the right kind (I am sure for you, there is NO right kind) lol

Ah shit I got them mixed up, I didn't bother to look it up in my iPod, ahahahaha. *feels silly*. Anyways, I will still try and look for some similar stuff, but I gotta tell you, it's going to be hard. hahaahaha

I'm not sure if I should take that as a compliment. >.>

Good luck with that search, it'll be tough. :X

@Random Guy: I thought this thread was for metal music. :0

Take it as a compliment. I guess it's a good thing. I think. hahahaah

Yeah I'll do it tonight when I am up all night bored and not tired. hahahaaha

In the meantime, find me more music that sounds like this:

While I don't listen to them on a regular basis, I had a friend who passed away in 2006 who loved the shit out of them. They are okay, not bad. More of a From Autumn to Ashes guy myself.

Alright, but you don't sound convinced. :X

Sounds good. And most 70s prog is kinda similar to this. Try the Camel album Mirage. Less poppy and cheery, but they influenced Arjen.

Yeah kind of, but I am looking for that more modern sound ya know? This Camel album sounds great so far though. Listening to the first song now, going to DL the album probably. I like it. Reminds me of some mid-career Floyd. Then again a lot of bands from that era sound similar in the Prog Rock genre. hahahahaha

More modern sound like that? I've never heard of anyone playing that kind of music lately. :x

    Found anything?

Modern sounding like that Ayreon song. Like... I just love that feel and style of that song... It's just so nice. Makes me want to skip in a field of grain. Hahahaa

Nothing man, to be truthful, I kind of got hooked on Deadlock: Online >.< hahahhaa played it yet?

It's a nice song, but not in the top5 of the album for me. I don't really know anything modern like it.

Go and search now, I need some like that. >.<

    Pretty good stuff. :>

It's definitely not in the top 5 for me as well, but it certainly is a great little song and it just fills me with happiness ^.^

Will do, I just got to work and have a few things to take care of this morning, but should have a spot or two of free time to look around for some stuff.

I've actually heard of these guys before. They were on my Satellite radio once, and I thought it was pretty good, but couldn't tell you what song it was. This song sounds good so far though as well, I really like it!

    True.

    Alright. :>>

I found them a few days ago, thought they were great. Got one more band suggestion, but that'll come later. :>

I'm doing another thingy in BM2, which seems to have turned out pretty interesting, but somehow the whole stuff is kinda noisy (unintentional noise in there). What could be the reason for that?
