Since I guess Somerandomdude's song are once again not for me... Some of the most insane, technical thing I know:
Sorry I haven't posted in a long time... between work, home life and everything going on in my head, I've felt really disconnected from everything, especially music. Today is the first time in quite a while that I have actually enjoyed listening to music and wanted to... long story short, things in my life have been really rocky. and where music would really help, it hasn't. Nothing really has. Just been completely down. @ Balu` First off, Thy Catafalque was a blast. I really liked it. I listened to it a few times over to get used to it but I really enjoyed it hahaahah. @SomeRandomDude Cilice was okay, not particular my style, but Fellsilent was pretty good. Vildhjarta was interesting, I really liked their album name ^.^ Haunted shores was great. Clean vocals were a little iffy, but the music and harsh vocals were top notch. Nearera was however my favourite you posted from that post @Balu` Didn't like that Swans song too much. Kind of weird... even for me. lol. @SomeRandomDude Martyr Defiled was awesome and a half. Brutal stuff. Bleed from within was way awesome. I really liked the guy's High Pitch Screams. They were really good. I've heard of Chelsea Grin and I am not a huge fan, but that song wasn't terrible. One-Way Mirror was pretty good. Adept was different, surprised I've never heard of them cause they sound familiar to some bands I used to listen to back in the day hahaha. I think you have played that Thy Art is Murder song for us before, and my god it's awesome. Brutal shitz0r man. Have you heard the new Crimson Armada Album yet? What do you think of it by chance? lol @Balu` Spastic Ink owns. Had a friend really into that shit. But yeah I haven't gotten into anything new or anything like that at all recently. Just been... a total waste of life.
Thy Catafalque: You should really check out some more of their work, because it's really interesting. Plus, you get to hear my beautiful language! :> Too bad. Swans is a really weird band, though. Their evolution is even stranger: they went from brutal, disturbing noise/punk (hell, they had a live album called Public Castration Is a Good Idea) to a relaxing, calm proggy/folky rock. I like their later stuff a lot more, obviously. It is great, but pretty.. soulless? Some more interesting music:
Well that song was most certainly weird. Not bad but kind of boring towards the end lol. Speaking of weird ass music:
I'll listen to these tomorrow, I got home like 30 mins ago, pretty tired. :> I'm having a really hard time falling asleep lately (because of the summer, it's always at least 35 ¤C around here (you guys have ¤F over there, right? If yes, 95 in that), which is a lot here. Anyway, the weird thing is, while I'm trying to fall asleep, I have all kinds of musical ideas. But of course I'm too tired to even try to make anything of them in BM2. >.>
Do so, it's weird.. and somewhat happy music. lol Yeah that is pretty hot, but right now here in AZ it usually hangs around 105~. Monsoon season is kicking in as well, so drop about 20-45% humidity on that. Gross. As for not sleeping, I can imagine it's rough but when I can't sleep music is the best cure. You should most definitely fiddle with BM2 more. I am super interested in hearing what you have going on in your head ^.^
Haha, you're used to it at least. During the day, it's pretty close to that here too. But that humidity really sucks. How cold does it get there during Winter? Will do. The latest, and probably best idea is this.. kind of ambientish stuff, inspired by Ulver's Shadows of the Sun (what a beautiful album!), but with more of a drone-ish vibe.
It can actually get pretty damn cold in the winter contrary to popular belief. This past year we saw around 43F quite often. sometimes (but rarely) dropping in to the low 30's. But it only usually lasts a couple-few months. Then back to dreaded heat and such. hahahaaha. How cold does it usually get over there? I WANT TO HEAR NAOOO!!!!!!
Oh yeah I'm not saying it's bad, but people in AZ freak out in cold weather like it's some kind of plague. Where as I was born in Germany, and was thuroughly used to the cold haahhaha. Yes I love Shadows of the Sun... so I am just interested in hearing whatever you have in store ^.^
Weird, I really love the cold weather. And even then I complain about how warm I am. :X Hah, it would probably turn out totally different, but I'll try to get you a basic version tomorrow. But I've also got some work to do, which I hate in the summer.
AHAHAHAAHAHA dude me too. I am like a f*cking polar bear. I tell myself everytime it gets hot in this damn state "I am in the wrong god damn state..." but at the same time, the worst thing we get are dust storms. We don't have to worry about tsunamis, or tornadoes or anything like that. Much anyways. LOL Awesome dude can't wait to hear it. What kind of work huh? Slave labour? hahaahaha
Haha. Here we never worry about that kind of thing - we're pretty much surrounded by mountains, so Hungary's really safe this way. :x Nah, better than that, thankfully. Hungarian to English translation, but it's a damn hard text. :x
Mountains = awesome. We got quite a few of them myself around these parts. That's cool dude. Good thing it wasn't like some old guy paying you to read early 1800's English literature in your underwear or something. That's a poor job...
Yup, they're great. :X Umm, I hope you never had to do that. D But this isn't easy at all, there are words in it I barely know in my own language. D Back to the music topic, the thing is, it's really hard to create a decent, layered stuff in BMT.. Maybe impossible?
hahaha no I have never had to do that. that's crazy. Hungarian is a beast of a language. It hurts my head. Not impossible, it just requires a lot of skill in the FX Hub and Equalization tweaking fields and volume control. It's not impossible, but really difficult to do. I still need to make some better stuff. I have just been laying out Drum machine tracks.
Hungarian is a lot simpler than English in some ways. We have 3 tenses instead of your 9, no passive voice, etc. It's a lot harder in many other ways, though. :X I'll try to do that then. But I just feel that I need to make some music soon.. :I O btw, back in the TF2 thread we talked about playing together.. What about that?
Yeah I can see that, but I will tell you just looking at some simple sentences looks like a f*cking alien language to me ^.^ Yeah I need to do the same. Been working on my other stuff, but it's turning out to be stuff you will more than likely hate. Real Melodeath-ie. But it's happy! (for the most part =P) Yeah about TF2... I forgot I wiped it from my computer so I gotta re install it. And ya know, booch, lazy. LOL
Haha. Micsoda baromságokat beszélsz te.. Méghogy űrlény nyelv. :X Meh, it still doesn't sound bad. :> Ow, but do that! I want to kick your ass. :C
Yeah, I am talking shit about your Alien language, wanna fight about it? =D Yeah once I get my recording software in order (still having trouble with it and messed with it over the weekend) I will be in ship shape for recording. A friend of mine just opened up his own professional recording studio too and charges next to nothing, and even cheaper for me. So I am thinking about saving up and getting my 4 songs together for a demo and rocking out with that. In any other game I would tell you to piss off, and that I would destroy your soul. But in this case, TF2 I was never great at. Let's play Starcraft 2 ^.^ ahahahahahahaahahah
