hahaahaha nah I made it up ^.^

No, that definitely won't work out very well at first hahaahah. Trying to think of things that you listen to that would be easy for you to begin with, but you listen to a lot of complicated shit LOL

Meh, on an acoustic, only thing I can think of is Dev's Quiet Riot. >.<
Agreed on that, or maybe other ideas?

That is a pretty simple song to learn, but yeah. Most of his stuff is excruciating to play on the guitar believe it or not (difficulty wise)

I dunno. I started learning songs on the acoustic and I gave a list a while back. A lot of mainstream stuff. Then I moved on to slightly harder stuff like Old In Flames and Old Metallica. Then just kept progressing from there. You gotta start somewhere that's for sure. It's important, first and foremost, to learn the basics of the guitar before you even begin playing anything. Like strumming, notes, chords, and so on and so forth. How much do you know already?

Have fun with Deep Peace solo. :>>

Most of that, but learning all the chords is not going to happen. I just don't have the memory for that shit.

Don't have the memory for chords? Practice practice practice! You'll eventually get them, and there are several good chord apps on the app store to help out with that too. It takes a while to memorize a lot of them, especially the more complex ones, but it sticks eventually dude.

HAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA OMG. I didn't realize I posted so much (though I knew it was a lot). hahaahaha. Balu` does need to change it to that name RIGHT NAOO!!!!

Sounds great. But we should have an actual conversation, don't you think? The problem is, we're out of stuff to talk about. >.<

What are you talking about, we do have conversations! Most of them are just senseless ^.^

In any event year we are running out of shit to talk about, and music to share LOL. At least I am. But I suck at digging through music sometimes.

Aye, no idea what to do. Playing guitar might get it going again, still.. >.<

That I will agree with. LOL.

Yeah definitely. I love playing the guitar. I have actually been fiddling around with an acoustic version of Storm. It's just hard to sing and play at the same time... especially the end.

This song is incredibly simple, nothing complicated about it, but I want to hear your thoughts.

    very catchy hahaahah

Acoustic of Storm? Interesting, are you doing with the harsh vocals in it?

Not bad so far, wouldn't really call it catchy, though. :>

Yeah, or at least trying. I can't quite hit highest screamish type thing he does towards the end. The rest is manageable. I just can't quite match his vocals, but I at least try. I am definitely no singer. But it's a great song to play, and my acoustic version sounds fun hahahaah.

That song was the shit back in Jr High for me. It was on a BMX video game I played and my god I jammed the PISS out of that song hahaahaha

Ah, which one do you mean?
Also, these Dev-type vocals that are somewhere between screaming and singing sound great imo, better than any harsh I've heard.

Weird, it was THIS big? Oo

    The one about 3:45~

I just I can cleanly get that high, but I can't get that high with that kind of distort on the vocals. I just can't, my throat fizzles out and shit and it sounds bad hahahaah. And yeah I love those half-harsh half-cleanish vocals. In Flames does them a lot in their newer stuff and I love it to death as well. I still like Harsh vocals, preferably Opeth-Toned ones a little better though. Just a matter of taste ^.^

It wasn't a very big song no, their album after that was pretty popular here in America, but that song in particular wasn't It just was to me and a large group of my friends.

Ah, that's a tough one. I can't really do harsh stuff, probably didn't find the right way so my throat hurts after trying some, so I can't really comment on how hard it is. :[]
Opeth's weakest part for me is the usage of harsh vocals. I'll probably love the new album, since it doesn't have any.
