Well, as a huge In Flames fan, and a huge fan of things staying the same, I want to say it's still Melodeath... but it's becoming less and less Melodeath with each album. Fortunately, In Flames is one of the few bands that have evolved so much that I actually enjoy the change, and while I still prefer the old Melodeath sounds from nearly 8 albums back, I do like their new stuff. There was a little Power influence in there, and even a little core I guess. But it's becoming hard to genre define for me. But hey, glad you liked it a little more than you usually do from them ^.^ This new album is definitely going to be interesting to say the least.
Meh, I'm generally not a fan of harsh vocals, so until they eliminate that from their music (which probably won't ever happen), I doubt I'll even download any. I get similar instrumentals and good vocals in power metal. Got nothing for you sadly. :|
Well if they ever decide to can the harsh vocals all together in one album, it better be damn good intrumentals, because I probably won't bother much with it hahahhahah Poop. I am really down for anything interesting. Kind of bored at work so yeah.
hahahaahahah yes they are, but not with Ween! I love ween to death, though their latter stuff is just plain silly. Actually, all their stuff is silly, but they are just awesome. hahaahaha me and some friends were really into them in Jr. High. Shocked me when I heard one of their songs on Spongebob Squarepants. Speaking of odd songs on random shows, ever heard of Criminal Minds? It's a decent show, but I happened to be watching, half paying attention to the show and half paying attention to whatever game I was playing on my iPod, when I heard "Death Whispered a Lullaby" by Opeth playing at the end of the show for some montage piece of some type. Dude... I was like "WTF?!?!?!??!?!"

hahaha yeah it is! Yeah I am not a huge fan of it, but I will watch it. Something about FBI Profilers really pisses me off. Like really grates my nerves. The show sometimes just seems pretentious. But yeah, shocked as all hell to hear Opeth on there... That was a really nice and peaceful piano piece man. I got something for you that is really peaceful too. Please dismiss the fact that it is from a Final Fantasy game ^.^ This was one of the first song I learned how to play on the Piano. I still have trouble with it. It's just so good though...
It's what got me into wanting to play. I had my friend teach it to me. I mean I had picked up other songs to fiddle around with, and then I played what sounded good, but that was the first actual song I learned the ins and outs of. And yes it's very hard. I haven't played it in so long that I probably wouldn't be able to play anymore. But yeah that song melts my heart.
If you don't keep on them for a while they can be tough to re-master, but easy to pick up once you work the rust off. Most of the time. hahahaah Haven't I shown you these guys before? I haven't heard that song before but I could have sworn I showed them on here before... maybe not now that i think about it. They do have some really weird stuff though. I liked the song though.

Yeah it kind of is. It's cancerous that's that for sure, and people reading it will grow either smarter from the music knowledge it contains, or dumber from our witty banter. LOL I want to quit my job. I'm not happy.

I'll be sure to post elsewhere. I pretty much wait for work because it's the perfect time to get on and post with you, since ya know, time zone differences. If and when i do get a different job though, time will be decreased spent on here. To be honest TA and sharing music on this thread is the highlight of my day at work. And while it's fun, I could be doing other things ya know? I dunno... I just feel so worthless here. It's driving me insane. And really depressing me. Can't wait for that music too! I love Balu` goodies.
