Vacations are great. Last week of school here, so yay.

    Anythin' for me?

    @Somerandomdude: I'm not a fan of these.. what a surprise. >.<

The closest I'll get to a vacation for a long time is staring at a picture of a tropical island listening to Dev's Ghost. =(

But thats awesome school is almost out! Time for the summer, and that means time to learn how to play the guitar!

Sadly nothing for you today, I hardly even listened to any music this weekend myself.

    Why not?:\

Yeah, it's great.. And looks like that, but we'll see. >.<

No vacation time left at work (had to take it because I got sick with diverticulitis), No money to go anywhere and a baby to take care of. Not to mention my wife is too ill and depressed to go anywhere and I don't want to go by myself. =(

Get over laziness! Play guitars! hahahaha

I usually do, but just didn't have to to even take a shit this weekend, let alone listen to any music. I DJ'ed for everyone on FaceBook for a couple of hours though the other night. LOL but other than that, nothing.

Found an interesting song. Balu`, you probably wouldn't like it much cause of the vocals, but it's pretty great, especially for an AMERICAN Power/Melodeath Metal band. I can't tell what genre this song falls into more. LOL. I am leaning towards Melodeath though. But it's a fun song.

That really sucks.. this means you won't come to Hungary this year. :<

    Will try for sure..

Ah.. DJing? How do you do that on FB?:Đ

Not bad stuff, but more aggressive than what I'm looking for right now.. I want some melodic proggy stuff..

Found some too, you might like it:

Yup, definitely no trips to Hungary this year. hahaahaha

I just got requests from people to spam my timeline with songs for a couple hours. I have no idea why. I usually post a song or 4 a day, throughout the day. But I had like 3 people ask me to do that for a couple of hours. Made no sense, but I took the opportunity to provide the most random assortment of music I had available on YouTube. hahaahaha

Yeah I figured it was a tad agressive for ya, but thought I would try anyways.

As for that Abydos song, there wasn't a thing about that song I didn't like. From start to finish I just had a smile on my face. It was a very nice song. Had a very familiar sound to it though, just can't pinpoint it. Anyways, downloading stuff from them right now.

    That's weird.. >.<

    I'm not saying it's bad, but I just don't like melodeath. >.<
If I need some aggressive stuff, I rather listen to some Dev stuff or Gojira.

Yay. It reminded me a bit of Ayreon, but not too much..

It was weird, but like I said, I was happy to oblige. I like sharing music ^.^

Nah I get you man! Not your thing that's cool. I like them and am surprised, I usually hate American attempts at Melodeath hahahaha. Very few I like.

Kinda, it was really poppy and happy. And that's what I liked about it. Don't hear much stuff like this that actually has depth to it.

    I've kinda noticed that. >.<

Americans usually suck at making metal (with really few exceptions). :ĐĐ

Agreed.. I haven't actually been listening to much heavy stuff lately, more like melodic metal, new age or rock stuff. Just not in the mood for that..

It's my best and worst quality all in one. hahahaha

Usually, yes. But like ya said, there are exceptions.

I listen to whatever I am in the mood for. It's strange how my brain works. Right now I am listening to some Tech Death stuff, but before that i was listening to Psychobilly. lol

Hah, similar stuff happened to me too. I think it was Gojira after some ambient stuff.

That's it for today.. By tomorrow, can you try getting me some melodic progmetal? Doesn't have to be new or anything either..

    hahaah nice.

I shall try Balu`! Once I am finally done with these receipts (I anticipate being done with them in an hour or so) I will have the rest of the work day looking for yummy stuff.

    Doing nothing of importance.
    Somewhere
This is continued from Booch's last post... didn't feel like quoting

This or the Apocalypse is an AWESOME band... There's VERY few I never skip when they pop up on Last.Fm, and that's one of them. I really need to find more stuff by them, it's straight up amazing.

And speaking of amazing, another song from what might possibly be my favorite album now (it's tied with WTF for me):

It's a serious toss-up right now... I LOVE Reckless and Relentless, and it's by far my album of the year (and considering how many came out this year, that's impressive), but as for all time... It's tough... WTF is just something else.

That was a pretty good song. Not near as good as WtF though ^.^

For Balu`, Did a bit of searching last night and did happen to find one band that I hope you don't know, because they are really good and I get points for finding you a band for once. LOL Chances are you already know them though.

I thought so, the album art looked familiar but it all tends to run together sometimes ^.^

But yeah those last 2 are quite delectable. Especially that Beyond Twilight song. That was fun.

    hahahaa

I hear ya, I have nothing calm right now. A few more songs leaked from the new In Flames album so I have been jamming on those.... some really good tracks. Too bad you aren't a fan.

For shits and giggles, check this song out. It has some really calm melodic parts to it. I am in love.

If you can make it past the first minute I think you might really like it.

Hmm, this is interesting. Closer to my taste than other stuff I heard from them.. Is this even melodeath? I hear tons of power and (sadly) some core influence too..

Still not really my thing, though.
