Now do you understand my hate? lol ****ing amazing man... on Sumeria right now. I can't pinpoint exactly what my favourite song is so far at all either, that's the funny part. Each song gets progressively more and more awesome. I would have to say Juular or Planet of the Apes or Stand in my favourite so far. =P
Yeah, I do. But he does sound good on the title track here. The choir in the beginning of Sumeria is amazing.. :> And yeah, it isn't easy to pick a favorite.
Yeah I will definitely check it out of course, and won't omit the song from the album just because he is in it. I think it's cool that he did stuff with him. I just can't stand GWAR that's all. lol. Yeah the Choir is amazing in this album. I am absolutely loving it. So far the Mighty Masturbator is really really good.
: DD It sure is. Too bad the orchestra is usually lost in the mix. And wait for the middle part of that song - one of the best things I've heard lately.
Dude I am not going to lie, the middle of this song sounds STRAIGHT UP like KMFDM. hahahahaha not that that is a bad thing at all, but it sounds exactly like something they would have done.
Yeah KMFDM is hit or miss for me. I used to really like their shit back in the day, but newer material is so much less industrial metal, and more dance music. And that pisses me off hahahaah
I don't have much problem with their stuff, but indusrtial music generally does nothing for me. Are you through Decon?
Yeah I am kind of wore out of industrial. Still enjoy it from time to time but not much anymore. I am starting Poltergeist now. So I am almost done. Basically, one of the best albums I have ever heard in a long time. This shit is great.
I've never been a fan of it. :> That's great.. I like it too, but I don't nearly get it. Yet. : D What were your favorite parts? What genre do you think this is? >.< Looking for some more relaxing stuff. Ideas?
=D Yeah I don't quite understand it either, but I thoroughly enjoyed it that's for sure. My favourite parts honestly were the extreme blast beats such as in songs like Pandemic and Poltergeist mixed witht he choir and shit. That really really got me going. But I really liked how there was so many guest vocalists that all did their own thing, yet it still stayed in a perfect insane Dev style. I don't know what I would call it though... Extreme Symphonic Experimental Metal? hahaahahahahaa kidding, but I really don't know. Well after Decon, I needed something to relax, but you would laugh if I told you what i was listening to. So to provide you with a good laugh, here it is!: In my defense, it's a really relaxing and good song. LOL
Yeah, I can't come up with a better description either.. : DD Though there's quite a lot black metal in there.. What laugh? I like the band.. Got a discography downloded.. : D
Yeah now that you mention it, with the choir and some of the single note guitars, it does have a black metalish sound to it. WHAT?! YOU LIKE DEATH CAB?! My mind = blown. Thought they would be too "Mainstream-ie" for you. I personally love the band, but yeah. Good relaxing music. Best album is Translanticism. Another kind of relaxing song... kind of. No vocals though. Just a good sound.
Yup, it kind of sounds like a Dimmu Borgir that doesn't suck on some songs. :> But the greatest thing, to me, is that he manages to include some of the most beautiful music in this (end of Sumeria, middle part of Planet of Apes). Meh, I don't really care. It's nice, good music, what else matters? Not bad. You posted it a long time ago, though. : D
Oh, we're doing metal, huh? I'm all metal! My fellow Dutch guys' hardrock band, currently touring with Saxon: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLfQ1eSsczw Or what about Chrome Division? Always puts me in a good mood. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=__KnL-OvtCg
Yeah kinda. I think he outdid himself with the album all in all. My wife wants it on her iPod bad. She loved the few songs I played for her at lunch. I've only been trying to tell you that with bands like Radiohead since we've met. LOL I forgot ^.^ I've played you their acoustical work right? I wish they would do more acoustic songs like they used to in their old albums. Perhaps they will surprise me with their new album and throw on one there. PERHAPS?!!?! I can't wait.
Your wife likes a Dev album? Weird. : D Yeah, but that ISN'T good music. :Đ Well, we can hope.. Found another good neofolk band, yay. @Thaurin: I'll listen to those tomorrow. :>
Yeah isn't that ****ing nuts?! I even told her what it was before I played it to her. No trickery or nothing! hahahaah But it is! I love me some Radiohead so much. I think you would really like their Kid A album if you gave it a chance. Some interesting Aternarock-Ambient-Electronic kinda stuff. But I won't bug you with it. =) *cough* *cough* That's awesome! Neofolk is awesome. I need to find my wife a band like old Goldfrapp. Having a hell of a time though. Listening to The Gathering right now.
