Meh Arch Enemy isn't terrible. I liked a couple of the albums with her in it (hated the first guy) but the newer stuff is getting more meh by the release.

And yes we have been through this already

I am a data entery operator at the central office of the Head Start Preschool programs. Headstart is a program that enrolls low income families' children from ages 3-5 in the states, though I don't work directly with the children. I simply sit at a desk alllllll day and run reports. Simple really, and while the reports are running, they can take up to five minutes to run (since we have over 850 kids in the pinal/gila counties), I get on toucharcade. lol

    You?

Ahhh the good ol days. My highschool included a lot of music playing, Pot, and MMO's. And some sexy time ^.^

Though I was a ****in weirdo in highschool. I dressed... rather abnormal.

I wouldn't suggest it. Cept the music playing, the sex, and the pot. Dressing abnormal is just wrong.

    LOL

That sounds like the most exhilarating job in existance. I seriously can't think of anything that tops that.

Meh, whatever pays the bills I guess. And you get to browse TouchArcade all day, so it can't be that bad.

Oh, need some music that gets you guys pumped up, or just something you'd use while playing some over the top shooter game (like Gmod with a crapload of zombie spawnpoints all over the map). I get extremely bored after school and end up just feeling dead by the end of the day. I'm hoping some nice over the top energetic crap will fix that.

It is so god damn monotonous it's not even funny. But yeah. It pays the bills and I am lucky I even have a job. Especially one where I can do up on TouchArcade all day.

Energetic crap huh? Slayer - Reign in Blood, Lamb of God - As the Palaces Burn, Children of Bodom - Hatebreeder, The Unseen - State of Discontent, Vital Remains - Dechristianize, DragonForce - Sonic FireStorm, Darkest hour - Deliver Us, Parkway Drive - Horizons, DevilDriver - The Fury of Our Makers Hand or These Last Kind Words. Those are a few albums that are sure to wake you the f*ck up! hahahaaha

Also it's not necessarily fast, but check out Star One's "Victims of the Modern Age". It's rather heavy as shit.

@Balu` yeah stay away from dugs though dude you don't need em. As far as sex and music though? I can't suggest a life outside of them. But there's a time and place =)

Mmm, I'm looking for the exact opposite of Somerandomdude's question: slow, proggy, relaxing stuff. Ideas?: D

Off the top of my head, I can't think of much honestly. It's not really my specialty, as when I want to listen to relaxing stuff I listen to all types of stuff. And one you already know that is extremely relaxing and satisfying is Opeth's "Damnation" album. I listen to that CD often as it is so beautiful to listen to.

You listen to any Alice in Chains? That's relaxing and slow, not necessarily tech-ie. But very herione inducing.

(I wish I had my damn iPod already so I could give you more suggestions)

Nope, don't have that one yet, and have no suggestions like it as a consequence. ^.^

How old are you exactly? You have a vast amount of musical knowledge for someone in high school. Most people I went to school with didn't know dick and shit. lol I mean I guess it could be the geographical difference but yeah. Thought I would ask.

It isn't the geographical difference for sure, most of my classmates listen to terrible pop stuff that's on radio. But guess my age! And here it is in white... 14

That's good, keep up the music knowledge. I grew up listening to Classical, Christian Hymnals, Prince and Depeche Mode untill I was like... 9 LOL. Then my dad had a military friend who shows me bands like Rush, Black Sabbath, Alice in Chains, Bad Religion, all kinds of shit my mother didn't approve of. Then I went through a rap phase when I was in 7th grade, and I still listen to a select amount of rap today. Then in 9th grade I was all about industrial and punk. Untill 10th grade when I was introduced to In Flames. Became a metal head since. I grew up with so many different genre's of music in my brain it hurts sometimes.

Hah, sounds a bit weird. When I was younger I listened to classical, but also some rock and metal (like when I was about 8, I loved Black Sabbath : DDD), so only subgenres changed here.

Haha, yeah, I forgot about Children of Bodom... I'll listen to some of those later, I actually gotta head out for some stupid award thing in a few.

Here's a few I use to get pumped up sometimes. Not exactly metal, but who cares:

I just need some more stuff, particularly some more metal in there. The only metal song up there really is Barbarian, which I've been listening to since my freshman year.

And I know this wasn't directed at me, but I definitely plan on avoiding all that drugs and sex and crap like that. I don't need to get caught up in anything like that at all. The last thing I'd personally want to be involved in is drug trade, and I have much better things to spend my money on (Black Ops!!! :D). Plus, I've seen it screw people up, and I really don't need to fall into that category. I've talked and been friends with a few that were pretty big into the whole drug thing, and I just hated the whole scene. It's a personal opinion, but I hate that kinda stuff. And the sex, well, I don't even have a gf so it's like I'm going to have to worry about that for a while :D.

As for the music though... I'll never give that crap up. No matter how much my parents or whoever might annoy me about how it "takes no talent" (which is a load of BS), I'll never stop listening.

And dude, your upbringing isn't that weird really. I listened to pop and crap on the radio like that as a kid until I heard AC/DC while playing THPS4 back in the day. It just went from there.
