Yeah "mainstream" is a very loose term with me, considering that when a band is considered "Mainstream" I hardly know that, because I don't know what is popular and what really isn't. I don't listen to the radio much at all, don't watch Music Television shows, and I kind of live in my own world. lol But on the subject at hand, HOLY SHIT DRAGONFORCE GOT A NEW SINGER??? It might be for the best though. All the members really hate each other. lol but yeah he did know how to sing decently. I'll be interested in hearing their sound now though with a new vocalist, though I haven't really been much into their music since Sonic Firestorm.
Yeah ZP left a year ago now! They've only just found someone else, a guy called Marc Hudson. Found a video: His voice isn't bad actually. I was watching that wondering if he could hit the high notes and then the 1:10 mark came around...
Yeah he isn't actually bad at all. The sad thing is, is I can still get higher than he can... >.> But anyways, I will at least check out the new stuff with this vocalist, might not be that bad. @Balu` you and your DragonForce hate. =) I hate their new stuff but still enjoy their older material. It didn't sound as cookie-cutter formulaic Power Metal garbage. LOL
They've never done anything unique, which is a huge problem for me. :| Found some pretty good stuff for myself.. Doubt you'd be interested in progrock mixed with triphop and electronic stuff. : D
Yeah I still prefer these guy's over DragonForce: That's a joke right? Are you kidding me?! BRING IT!!!!
Of course I'm kidding! :> Will post the song(s) tomorrow, as it would be hard from my phone. Maybe this'll give you a reason to post. : DD As for your PM question y'day, I'll look into it, I just forgot about it all day.
hahahaha yeah I will definitely check in for that shit! Sounds like fun. And truthfully I forgot till lunch time when I was listening to the Human Equation on the way home and I heard Eric Clayton's voice in "Day Two: Isolation" and I was like "OH YEAH SAVIOR MACHINE" hahaahahah no worries I'll ask about them tomorrow. Right now I am content listening to Pokemon Metal. *headbangs*
I guess I'll have to do this every thursday. >.< Hah, that's a good album, haven't listened to it in a while, though. Well, gnight I guess, I'll have to get 'least 7hours of sleep. : D
hahahaha still, can't guerentee for sure I will be on, but I will at least attempt to from my iPod, as much as I bloody destest it. LOL Yeah it's a great album. I listen to it once in a while, but there's just a few songs I have to listen to once in a while to get me through the day hahaaha. Night dude!
Sorry I didn't pop in yesterday. Literally was barely home all day. Going to be the same today but got a tad bit of free time today. Care to share some of those gnarly sounding bands Balu`? By the way, how did English class go? Hahahahah
Not right now, but I do have something else, more awesome to share! Great, but I didn't even have time for these.. It was total chaos. : DD
That was pretty awesome! I love Protools! Speaking of, I have to reformat my computer before I can run Protools on my lappy. F*ckin fail. Devin rocks anyways, but Jesus Christ that's a SHITLOAD of tracks hahaha. I know he layers a lot but good lord.
Yeah, I didn't understand half of that stuff, but... I was shocked. >.< Sucks about your computer, how come?
I'm alive! I;ve been dreadfully sick these past couple of days but now I HAVE to come into work... and it's my birthday! yay! I'm so tired...
Just recently saw Disturbed and Korn perform live. Not a huge fan of their music but it was a free night out as my wife won the tickets in a contest.
Admittedly, I like both of their early stuff (Disturbed's First album/Korn's first 3 albums) and have seen them both live. I have to say, Korn is one of the loudest acts next to Iced Earth I have ever heard. LOL
Agreed. My complaint is that the vocals got drowned because the instruments were so loud. Other than that a good free night out.
