    Doing nothing of importance.

Ah, naturally. I mean, I do go by rather broad sub genres (which I tend to screw up anyway), but I can separate something like The Devil Wears Prada from something like Heaven Shall Burn, or Avenged Sevenfold from Bloodbath, but it's more or less described by extremely broad genres or "Bands that sound like *insert band name here*". None of that over the top analyzing with 'cores' and that ridiculous Avant-Garde thing I saw before.

Not industrial. If it was, I'd hate it. : D It's more like older Therion stuff with electronic parts. I'll post some stuff if you want.

I'm pretty surprised no one's mentioned Soilwork yet.

What's even more depressing is that I forgot youtube is blocked at my work so I can't even listen to it. I'll check it out on my aunt's laptop at home, I need more depressing music for days like these.

I do. Guitar, piano, keyboards... and I am a singer. Genre? Hm... that really differs. Progressive, power, alternative... stuff like Disturbed's songs (straight forward) to Nightwish like stuff (cheerful, somehow) ... depends on my mood.
I have two accoustic, a western guitar and my baby, a rare Hondo.

By the way: my fiancee plays bass... she's really cool. :D

That's a pretty damn sweet guitar dude. How's the sound?

And that's cool your Fiance plays bass. My wife plays keys and Flute, and is a hell of a singer hahaaha.

@Booch: For depressing stuff, you should get Guilt Machine - On This Perfect Day. It's Arjen Lucassen's (Ayreon, Star One etc) depressing project.

@Vovin: Good to see you here, I hope you'll be a regular too. :> What kinds of metal do you mostly like?

Ayreon, Ambeon, Guilt Machine, Star One, Stream of Passion, solo stuff + the bands he was in before the projects. : D
Still, he's far in projects from Dan Swano.

Yeah Swano does have quite a few himself. But that's cool. It;s good to have several different outlets of music. If I had my own recording studio boy would I have a hayday.

Gingers just don't do it for me. This however...

Angela Gossow drives me nuts. I am more into punk rock girls though myself.
