Speaking of relaxing music, I really really like Nest. I listened to their first album when I went on this 1.5 hour car ride to pick up my friend in the middle of the night and it was sooooooooooooooo nice.

    Also, have you heard this?

Hahah, yeah, Nest is great, but relaxing in a different way.

Nah, not yet. Will listen to it tomorrow.

    Gnight! Go get some sleep.

Good stuff man! With the exception of Chronic Future and Authority Zero. Can't stand those guys =D.

One and I had never heard of was Hope Dies Last, and that was some pretty good shit right there. All the other stuff I have heard of before and love it, Especially Motionless in White. Sick shit!

Also, the song I posted you never heard of was by a band called "Fear Before" (formerly known as Fear Before the March of Flames, don't know why they changed it) and the song was called "Mouth". They are a strange bunch, vocals are very odd, but I really like them.

@Balu`It may not be mega relaxing, but it is pretty damn good (at least imo):

    Kinda good stuff! : D Post-rockish.

In return, I've got you the craziest, avant-gardest (nice word, isn't it?) song:

Aaand not a bad day today. But the school project this year is a 'class band' covering some old rock stuff. And it's going awful right now.>.<

And... I am posting this song because it is epic as shit. I am definitely not a S.O.A.D. fan at all anymore, their music got way to mainstreamy and overly political for my taste. However, once upon a time... they actually sounded good and their lyrics had great meaning (even if they were about drugs LOL).

Without further adieu, I give you my favourite S.O.A.D. song of all time:

Glad you liked it! Thought you might enjoy it a tad!

Awww man I can't listen to it because Sony won't let me :( (I did however, find a song called Novae, and so far, it's a mind f*ck)

WTF? What old rock stuff are you guys covering... and with what...?

Ouch, it is pretty amazing though. >.<

Well.. they are. I have no musical talents, as I've said many times. >.>
Still, their pick was House of the Rising Sun by The Animals. Despite how old it is, I love that song, so I hope they won't ruin it. : DD
The guy who volunteered for the vocals sucks hard though, so it might happen. :/

hahahaha I get you. Well that is a good song... but it's easy to ruin. Especially if the vocalist sucks... I'll webcam the guitars in for your class if you want! LOL

By the way... I just downloaded Unexpect's album "In a Flesh Aquarium" and oh my god dude. This shit is amazing. ****ing insane as all hell, and frankly almost scares me listening to it, but it's bad f*cking ass. Reminds me of a heavier, harsher vocal'ed Mr. Bungle.

    Hahah. : DD
Problem with the vocalist is that he just doesn't have enough power in his voice. Even I'd be better.. well, if I could... make the right sound. I can do sometimes but mostly it just doesn't work. >.<

Yay, glad you like it. :>>
    Insanely weird stuff though.
    What's Mr. Bungle?

That sucks... It's time to unleash your inner @Balu` power. Show him up. LOL

Yeah It's insane. And Mr. Bungle is... one of the weirder bands I know, at least I thought they were weird untill I heard Unexpect. LOL

    My favourite:

If you can sit through the whole song without vomiting, then you might enjoy it. It's actually a good song... just weird. lol

Naah, I'm a shitty singer. When I try, it either sounds just bad, or turns into a metalcoreish scream. >.<

Not bad actually. But is that Mike Patton on vocals?://

Start a metalcore band then! LOL jk...

Yeah it's good stuff, just gotte be in the mood for it (imo). And yes that is indeed Mike Patton on vocals. His better side of music, since I personally am not a fan of other stuff he does (FNM, General Patton's Army, etc.)

Ouch. I just.. hate Patton. Such talentless crappy vocalist. And people compare him to Townsend. Idiots.

Speaking of metal, my favourite vocalist I have ever worked with and I are starting a project. He was just going to lay down vocals for me when I make tracks, but I kinda wanted something a little more... as he has great imput in music. He just recently quit the band he was in (and the recent band I was in that I quit as well) due to major conflicts with members. We don't really know what kind of music we are going to make. But I can assure you, it's going to be awesome. We used to be in a great band a long time ago (played several shows and such) but we both have grown drastically in style and skill. So it will be interesting where we go. I still intend on making my own stuff, but I think it's starting to sound a lot more Prog-Power metal than anything, as I now have 3 total songs (just not recorded, hoping to get protools up and running this friday when i talk to tech support).

I have a hard time saying that I don't like him... because I do. He's not necessarily talentless, but he isn't that good. He is only good accompanied by bizarre f*cking music (I.E. Mr. Bungle). When his vocals are put with a band like Faith No More, it just kind of sucks. I like Faith No More's music (well... mid-career FNM) but that's as far as I go. But comparing him to Townsend? Blasphemy.

Sounds good.. Can't wait for some of those songs. :>

Eh, I just can't see anything good in his stuff.

Did you like the whole Unexpect album? : D

Yeah some of it may not be friendly to your ears, but I will force it on you anyways. LOL by the way did you catch that video of some of his core-type vocals I posted several pages earlier? We decided that he is going to do the harsh vocals and I am going to do the clean vocals. It's probably going to be Opeth style though, (meaning a generally even amount of both clean and harsh, leaning a little more to the harsh) He also has like a $600 mic, so it makes anyone sound good. LOL.

Yeah it's tough, but like I said. Mr. Bungle is pretty good if your in the mood for it.

Yeah dude I'm listening to it still. It's f*cking rediculously awesome. Now the true test, to see if my wife likes it ^.^
