It's really fun. And looks kinda easy, so I want to learn it... Sometime.. : D

Getting tired so I won't stay much longer.

Want any kind of stuff? Got plenty I haven't shared yet. : DD

Yeah man... I envy you. Basically, I get a load of crap about how evil my music is, a disgusted look, my musical knowledge/taste insulted, called "stupid for following the crowd, or a sarcastic, condescending, annoying beyond belief laugh. It drives me nuts... I jus wish my family would shut up for once. Well, I return the favor and give them a ton of crap about how talentless people like Ke$ha (who spells their name with a $ anyway...), Lady GaGa, and all those "artists" are. It's a shame they all gang up on me in retaliation though. Either way, just be glad you never dealt with this crap. They literally can't bug me more in any other way... I understand when they ask why I like it or say that they can't stand the stuff, since that's a personal opinion, but when it's a direct attack on my musical tastes and even my intelligence sometimes, that's when I snap.

/2nd major rant in under a month... I really have some issues sometimes lol

Either way, what'd you think of ISMFOF and Attack! Attack! ?

And... I'll just post this now so you can wake up nice and early to some Synthetic Torture:

Yeah it's actually pretty easy dude, to both play and sing a long with. I learned it last night before my child woke up, and the only part I didn't learn is what I want to do during the key/guitar solo part. I could just skip it. But I want to put a twist on things. Nothing hard or anything just some chords to fill in the void. I don't want to do the Letter to Dana song (though I like the song itself) I just want it to be a full acoustic Victoria's Secret cover. So once I figure that out maybe I will record it with my iPod and share the humiliation. I still gotta memorize all the words though, I barely remember the choruses. LOL

That sucks man, I am really sorry to hear that. I know it sounds stupid but living like that is terrible. It's one thing to give them crap, it's a completely different story to start criticizing intellegence based on an individuals music taste. That's bullshit.

Attack! Attack! was pretty cool but the other one was kinda weird... I mean Attack! Attack! was to, but I liked it ^.^ Synthetic Torture was pretty br00tal too. Heavy shit man!

Hahah, the vocal part doesn't seem so easy for me, but it's obvious that I have an awful singing voice. >.>
    And yeah, SHARE THAT!

Well I am not saying that it is so easy I will nail every note perfectly or anything, but I can do it for the most part. The part I found most fun was at the beginning where he is just singing Lalala's, DeeDeeDee's and NahNahNah's and playing that with the guitar. So fun...

    Definitely! =D

My problem isn't that I can't hit the notes (after some tries), it's just that it doesn't sound good at all. : D

Yeah I really need to take vocal lessons. There is a lady that works with people one on one at a nearby college and it's only like $120 for like a 8 week lesson 2 times a week. Everyone that I know personally that has gone to her has had significantly awesome results. Me and my wife want to do that. Bad. Can't wait, I'll do it one day.

One day of course you will. My voice isn't terrible, it just needs to be refined and worked on really. And there is no vocals with my music cause A)I really still need a laptop cord so I can record things again B) Once I get that cord, I still need to get protools to work C) I need a microphone and D) I need to become a master of lyrics and E) I just need to do all of this. LOL

I could record vocals on Beatmaker 2 from my iPod though. Suppose I could just sample in Living the Dream, and record some vocals, but I don't know how good they would sound, and not because I suck at singing, but because of the actual quality of the vocals themselves.

I'll jot down some cheesy lyrics this weekend and try and record them over that time. I am actually leaving for the day so I can't share any music atm but I will try and gather some of that this weekend too ^.^ I only work 3 hours today to make up some missed time from earlier in the week. HUZZAH!

Edit: I will try and post here over the weekend, but as usual, I wouldn't expect it ^.^

Ehhh... It's not too bad usually. It's not really often and I've learned to either pause when they're around or to just kinda ignore it. Usually it doesn't get too bad either unless I actually try to give an intelligent response. I just wish they'd be a bit more open about my music, and maybe then I wouldn't have to think so much about joining that band. Even then, I'll probably end up trying to do one song with them to see how it goes and see from there.

And I actually expected you to like ISMFOF more than Attack Attack, but I'll definitely agree that ISMFOF is... Out there to say the least, but then again that's why I like them so much. Stuff like Ravenous, Ravenous Rhinos and the opening of But the Nuns are Watching are really catchy songs.

They're really headstrong about that sorta stuff... Basically, I'm right and they're wrong. No matter what argument I present I'd get shot down... So I figure I'll just lay back and let them do the freaking out, not me.

And I'm trying to decode who I like better: Fleshgod Apocalypse or The Faceless... I'm leaning more towards The Faceless mostly for the song "An Autopsy". Amazing stuff.

And I guarantee if you saw my profile picture on Facebook and what I look like, you'd be shocked that I love this stuff lol. I look like a total doofus... You'll probably crack up.

So, where do they starting to hate it? Classic rock? Heavy metal? Core stuff?

Hmm, it sounds like really fun music, full of positive thoughts! :>>

Hahah, what should I search for? : DD

They like classic rock and can stomach clean vocals for the most part, but the second they scream, they get annoyed. Even one line sets them off.

LMAO!! Yeah dude, they're pretty heavy stuff... Both are Tech Death which if you can find instrumentals of (since you'll HATE the vocals), I highly suggest looking it up, especially for the drumming. It's some really crazy technical stuff.

And I'll inbox you the name to look for on FB. Go ahead and add me if you want haha, I never add anyone first. Ever. Idk why, but I just don't. I'll send it to Booch as well... I was going to send it to you before but I never got around to it.

Hmm at least that's something. What do they think of growls?
Just a quick tip: if you want to try to make them like harsher stuff, don't start with Dimmu Borgir's In Sorte Diaboli.

Alright, not sure if I'll like even the instrumentals, though.

Sounds good. Can't promise I'll add you - so far I'm only using it for real life friends. But we'll see. :>

Unrelated, but got any good, recent iOS games?

Oh my god I am back from the weekend. This weekend was freaking crazy busy. Birthday parties for little kids, my son never sleeping at all, it's all crazy shit. I. Am. Beat.

@Balu` I can't see you liking tech death at all. LOL. Vocaless or not. As far as iOS games go, have you picked up Starfront: Collision? I know it's a GL title, but it's an amazing RTS. You should try it, there is a lite version.

@SomeRandomDude I like Fleshgod Apocalypse a little more than The Faceless, but they are both pretty awesome. Another good one to check out (and I am not sure if we have talked about them or not) is this band:

Unfortunately that's the only new band I was able to get ahold of this weekend.

Ouch, doesn't sound like a good weekend. I spent half of mine sleeping. : DD

    Hah, why not? :>

Tried lite, will buy when .99. :>>>

Got my hands on a quite good recording of that acoustic Sonata gig (where they played Victoria's Secret). Ah, love it. : DD
