Try Unia. Right now. I'll be here for about two more hours and really want to know what you think of it.

Alright. The real craziness is in the end though. Especially The Vice, which I love by the way.

I'm not sure how much you guys are into this stuff (especially Balu'), but here's some stuff I've been listening to a bit lately... Kinda curious what you think:

Well I am on song # 4, It Won't Fade, (would be further along, but I stopped to have a breakfast burrito ^.^) and so far the album is really good. The only thing I don't like so far though is the distortion on the guitars... too rectified. But it works out.

@SomeRandomDude I will check out those songs as soon as I am done with this album. BrainDrill is dope.

Yeah, it's great. It's totally different from earlier stuff, though. Even more different than TDoG. The lyrics are also a bit worse I think.

I know you'll like BrainDrill and the other song I posted, but I'm not too sure about the others. They're kinda... poppy, but really good.

EDIT: Also running through an album one of the channels I'm subscribed to uploaded the other day... And it'll definitely be worth the half hour I'll have spent listening to it. Here's the video:

Nice I will check them out asap! Tell your parents about your new metal band that you totally are going to be a part of because Booch138 said so? Have em talk to me. I'll let em down easy. LOL

Yeah it's a lot different, but that's not a bad thing. i really like it. The Vice was pretty good too ^.^

Lol convincing them that metal isn't evil is like trying to convince Ghandi to kill someone... Basically, it's not happening. Ever. Which is a complete shame since I'd love to scream for a band. Actually, I've always thought about doing that sorta thing... I might see if I can record one song without them knowing and see how it goes.

And did I ever mention how much I hate pig squeals? If not, then I REALLY hate them. The only time I can ever stand them is in All Shall Perish's songs, only because they use them extremely sparingly, and it actually sounds pretty good in the scheme of their songs.

Just finished it. Was all in all a pretty good album. My favs were definitely In Black and White, The Harvest, The Vice and Good Enough is Good Enough (made me want to hold up a lighter in my office the whole time)

@SomeRandomDude I hear you man. That is a damn shame. You should just tell them. What are they going to do, ground you because you have aspiring dreams? And yeah Pig Squeals are annoying but there are a few bands that pull em off ok. I can actually do them really well too, but it's not hard to do.

WHG 10/10, Ecliptica 9/10, Silence 8/10, Unia 8/10, RN 7/10, TGoD 5/10. And they are also in order of favourites too. Glad I checked them out. Good stuff all around really.

Haha I'm not even going to attempt pig squeals... Ear piercing, really. I have a pretty decent range of normal screams though, but I think I'll avoid pig squealing.

And yeah... I just don't know. It wouldn't go too well if they found out... Actually, I'm pretty sure they don't know I can even scream tbh. I only scream when I'm sure they can't hear, just to avoid such a thing. I just don't know what's the worst: My parents' false labeling of metal, the fact that screaming in a band probably wouldn't exactly be a good sort of thing to bring up between my parents (if they even decided to let me... but eh, screw that), or the fact that if I ended up making the kind of music that got you on the radio they'd probably encourage it...

Pretty much agree with the order there. :>
Yeah, SA is a great band to know, the emotion in the lyrics my favorite thing about them. Instrumentally, they're weaker than Strato.

Yeah they are. I love the lyrics, and I am not much of a lyrical guy. I just posted the lyrics of the chorus for "Victoria's Secret" on my FaceBook. Positive and uplifting. That's what I am aiming for. I have been negative all day so yeah.\

By the way, youre up late!

LMAO dude they are... I am too, but I gotta draw the line somewhere... It's what I like doing, so I guess they'll just have to get over it. Obviously it's not Satan worship (alright... MOST isn't satanic...) and I'm sure they'd care less about me listening to The Number of the Beast by Iron Maiden than listening to a metal version of the Our Father... Like I said, my family is musically full of idiots. The only other one who listened to this kind of stuff is in the air force right now, so I'm pretty much the only one in my family who really likes this, except for my uncles who like some good music, but not most of the stuff I really love. Same goes for my friends... I had my friend listen to some stuff of of MFKR and he threw it out of his ear in disgust, then had me listen to rap, which I proceeded to throw out of my ear in disgust. Well, at least our friend listened to both and decided to side with my music... There's a few good ones left out there :D

Yup, that's surely a very uplifting song. Especially the acoustic version. :>

Can sleep all day tomorrow, so why not? : D

Ha I knew it! I'm good.......

hahaha anyways. Yeah that sucks... I got a lot of my family into the music I listen to, but all of my family listenes to variety of shit so yeah. My mother and father always encouraged musical stuff though, especially my dad, as he was the drummer in an 80's metal band himself when he was younger. So I have no idea what that's like.

It is indeed. Yeah I listened to the acoustic one earlier today. I love it so much they just look goofy I love it. LOL

Definitely, if you can sleep in, do it!
