Yeah it's like 5 hours of work and 5 hours of me dicking around beggining for work. hahahaha That's how I feel I am so excited. Now I gotta get all my guitar equipment from my friend's house. I hope Ian sleeps at least a little bit in his own bed so I can record in my room. If not I have to go in the living room and stuff. This whole thing is really bothersome. LOL
Don't know if I plan on recording music serious stuff today as much as I plan to work the rust off of playing with Protools. It's been a good 3 years since I have played with it avidly. So I will probabaly run around with BM2's Drum Machine, and record some guitars and tweak some stuff. Gotta get my MIDI keyboard back from my brother too. Make music that would make Jens Johansson jealous. HAHAHAAHAHHAA yeah right...

Yeah I play it all, the only thing I need now is a new bass guitar. The one I have currently is over 7 or 8 years old, and sounds like it (and not in a good way). I need a new one bad. Maybe I will ask for one for my Birthday. That would be sweet... Other than that, I have a full band going for myself. If I had real drums I would play them too, but I am not nearly as good at those ^.^ And yeah I take music pretty seriously but I love to have fun with it. Whever it gets frustrating (and sometimes with recording it does...) I take a break and do something else. Nice, I am listening to Winterheart's Guild. Next maybe some Blind Guardian or some At the Throne of Judgement or something. I need to listen to more Haggard though.

It's just fun having total creative control over your music. That way no one can tell you what they don't like or what they want to add. It's fun being in a band with others but I favour my own music over everything else. I just need to get to recordin' now! Silence and Reckoning Night. Silence was good, Reckoning Night was so-so. Not bad, just not really great. At least as great as WHG. Still going to try their later stuff to see if I like it at all. But that's once I have heard all their older stuff. LOL
Well, have fun recording. I want to hear the results! :> Actually I loved Reckoning Night. Not as much as WHG, but White Pearls, Black Oceans was brilliant. Two decent albums left for you. Ecliptica is straightforward, Strato influenced powermetal, Unia is complex and weird and no idea if you'll like it or not. TDoG is pure crap though.

My first recording with Protools is probably going to be some random boochtastic madness. Probably won't have a genre, or gender, or even make a whole lot of sense. It may sound cool, it may not. That's the mystery! The rest of my recordings will be more serious though LOL. Might have to go home soon and take my wife to the Urgent Care. Not sure yet.

Been insanley BUSY on top of incredibly tired. Yesterday I took off from work to help my wife out, she has been really ill with stomach problems still, so I have been taking care of the little guy, then I get to work and we have meetings and stuff to set up and move and BAH! It's crazy around these parts for ol' Booch138.

Not really, she is still sicker than f*ck but she is doing better. But better is still not great. lol... No. I only had a couple of hours to f*ck with Protools, and an hour of it was spent installing the mother f*cker, and the other hour was spent trying to figure out why the f*ck it wouldn't work on my laptop. I reinstalled it, restarted my computer, repaired files, redownloaded drivers, blah blah blah blah blah. When I run the program is gets stuck on loading a plug-in. And it freezes. I cannot for the life of me figure out why. I did everything, and my laptop is more than capable of running Protools. So yeah... that's where I am at with that. Pisses me off. Guess I will have to call them or post on some forums or some shit...

Yeah me too... It's bad especially since she has to watch Ian while I am at work. -.- Yeah I am very mad, but I will get it figured out or die trying. And nah man I'm really sorry, haven;t even had time to look for new music for myself. It sucks having no time anymore.
