    hey ..your our 1600th post! btw welcome :)

    the pm slug is worth buying for its high damage... im enjoying it myself, some units got buffed too if you notice... hyakutaro(if you have one) has faster prodrate(normal) and attack speed now(a viable monkey replacement)... jking somehow in my opinion attacks slightly faster than normal and takes hit better now before flinching<<<<or is it my imagination only?
    about the slugnoid, i havent used it often because its special is unreliable, but if youre looking for dps (damage per second) i guess its an ok unit.. but then for confirmation, lets wait on the fb page/instagram of metal slug world on who got nerfed and buffed for concrete evidence:)

    I would suggest the new ptolemaic slug.. I have it next to my black hound and togther they seem to devastate... with your class set up the ptolemaic slug would come in handy as a support unit.. being able to shoot far units on the back of enemy lines..
    The sv experimental is good as well for its long range.. But the vulcan isn't as powerful as it seems.. the ptolemaic main attack is the sv's special so I guess it is better haha xD

    Seeing the Commander buff, Commanders are like 10x better than before. Will get a further review later.

    Hi guys. New to this game and looking for some units to add to my deck that are good for wifi versus. Any units you guys can suggest?

    3. Claw Unit
    4. Patrol Robot
    5. Black Hound




    PS: Heard the new Ptolemaic Slug was good :)

    And yep, i feel that too, but hi-do is still much better than this giant, especially with the tank ability of these 2 nokanas.,
    @thesorrow : yep, i'm gonna get this ptolemaic slug first, 28 mdal to go., :D

    Based on hyun post, almost every unit in my deck is nerfed., which means i'll hv to experimenting again., &#55357;&#56851;
    I still don't fully understand tho, what is increase here means? Getting longer? For ex. Prod.rate increase means getting longer right?

    My suggestion, don't use commander or hover unit., bcz the hover unit gives a hell lot of ap amount if get destroyed., from what i experienced, 1 hover unit gives roughly 150 or 200 ap, to make it worst, its hp is only 400 which makes them so easy to destroy., cmiiw :)

    Commander now has the range of the patrol bots, its amazing how much of a push it has. Combined with a right deck, not a lot of things can stop a swarm of hover units, not even the Black Hounds can deal with them all. Also, the hover units although they give ap to the opponent, it can serve as a free shield against devastating attacks from the boss units. I believe its benefits overweigh its negatives, especially now in 1.12

    Commander Conclusion

    Here's the verdict for the Commander. He is definitely is better than previous versions, staying back further and summoning hover units faster. If you could manage to protect at least 3 Commanders, the opponent will have a hard time facing the Soviet tactic of hover units. Although I would recommend trying to summon Commanders mainly in med to late game as usual.

    Ugh, last thing I want is to see Commanders being spammed against me. My poor little phone's frame rate can't keep up.

    Haha, those Commanders do fill up the screen really fast. Additional note, paired up with the Hi-Do and his special, the Hover units can reliably launch their missiles without taking too many casualties.

    Hi guys. Since the Claw Unit was nerfed, do y'all have anything you can suggest as a replacement?? Or is it still viable??

    It is still viable, but is much more weaker. A Leona or other units that used to be weak against Claw Unit now stand a much better chance. Gonna be hard to replace the Claw Unit, since its the only melee unit that is useful in early and med game.

    i still find patrol bot in some degree still usefull than a commander...although i enjoy commanders recent buffs(is now more careful in the battlefield so he stays way back and spawns more hovers )and heres my take
    1. 200ap on commander to 160ap for patrol,40ap diff..could be a difference early
    2. hover units hp is like 400hp and can be easy to take out,so commanders damage is inconsistent. but some hovers can be used as shield sometimes..its just that kill bonus ap thou.
    3.patrol bot although nerfed,both attackspeed/range/dmge is a little more consistent through all stages of the game.. its just isnt as OP as be4..

    but on todays meta game you could dominate with or without a patrol bot . you just need a proper setup for them (commander or pb..)

    Patrol Bots + Commanders with proper shielding screens literally spells good game no re. Commanders I must say have to stack at least 3 to actually make a difference. Also one tip, don't let your Commanders summon the Hover Units all at once. You have to make sure theres always only one or two summoning Hover Units, since if you let your whole Commander stack summon at once, the Hover Units will be clumped and be easier to shoot down with AA fire. Having one and two always summoning allows a stream of Hover Units, leading to a bit more consistent dps than all at once.
    Personally, I don't mind giving AP with my Hover Units, since I would only summon my Commanders when I know I can shield them or its late game, when the AP given by kills won't matter as much. Early game, Patrol Bot is definitely better, only situations I would summon my Commanders would be if the first MSA came. Not trying to hype Commanders, has their flaws but much better than before. Btw, I noticed the Hover Units don't cover MSAs anymore huh, I remember Hover units tanking MSAs back long time ago. Makes sense though, thats pretty OP since MSAs can well determine a game now.
