Also I think on larger maps with a lot of deck matchups there's an element of, whoever drops units second, wins. But, for example, on a medium-sized map, you have one player save up for 5 upgrades, and then start streaming units out. The second player could easily only go for 3 upgrades, and then drop ~800AP worth of units altogether in a pile, which will obliterate the 5-upgrades stream and put the 3-upgrades player seriously ahead. I've begun leading Iron Nokana Mk II in certain situations, with a pile of units right behind (Mk II sucks up the MSA). Also Mortars, man. I have no reliable way of clearing them out. They can hit R-Shobu and J.King for example.
This, plus dropping first means your specials charge first. Even if the 5-upgrade player puts out a bulk drop, odds are the 3-upgrade player's drop will already be near his base, ready to unleash a bunch of specials. That means the slower player's units probably won't live long enough to charge theirs! Plus, from that point on, the faster player will be able to continue streaming out units, all of which will have their specials charged by the time they hit the front line. Map control is a huge advantage.
Man, I can't help but still freaking love Karn and Shoe. They are the bane of all great walls, the wall crushers. Seriously love how SNK gave them more hp, they actually stand out and will determine a match. Also gonna do another underrated unit review soon, so watch for that!
you could add their little brothers di cokka and the pm version, i kicked @$$ with it on early game.. (di cokka on my early days and the pm version on the present)
Guys, have you ever faced players in 2v2 that has 90% damaged base go back up to full again? One of the players then lagged like mad, allowing them to retake our massive offensive, something that shouldn't happen normally.
Hey guys im new on here but I been reading for quite a while..I seen ppl praising patrol robots, utans, shobus, etc.. And so far I haven't seen ppl praising the most basic units... units such as bradley (both of them) girida o (morden's army kind) and melty honey.. lately I been winning online versus with this deck Bradley Bradley (the one with the vulcan) Girida o Di cokka Rebel riffleman Rebel with the firework missile Nop sarubia Floating melty honey Nokana mark ll Jupiter king With this I been able to stop leona, claw, utan spawn. The bradleys serve as an unflinchable barrier as the other units stack up on the back.. and late game nokana protects the advancing soldiers while they manage some damage on the enemy.. I dont usually play to win but mostly to have fun... I have almost every weak unit you can name units like maggots... I bought just for fun.. I like to have fun with my units.. Anyone intersted in playinf against me, im on adroid.. [email protected] https://plus.google.com/113199041897112653519
Mind if I gave out some pointers for your deck? One major problem I see in this deck is the fact Black Hounds and any air units will rip this deck apart. Kinda get the theme of this deck, being Morden's army and all, but I see this deck really struggling especially during the late game. Late game, Nokana and Jupiter King are not good without support. I'm going to take a wild stab and say that you wanted the riflemen and fireworks rebels to the main dps. If thats the case, this dps can powerful, will be easily overwhelmed by previously mentioned Black Hound's special and Patrol Bot. Bradleys, personally, I think they really suck, even though SNK tried to buff them this update. Attack speed is slow, range is low. Only thing that tries to redeem the Bradleys are the fact it has a relative large HP and that it has no knockback. However, there are plenty of units that are able to be walls much better than the Bradleys. I get that this deck meant for pure fun, but why not get some reliable wins with it? You don't have to follow this list, but here are some of my recommendations, I tried my best to remove all the normal meta units. Sarubia Ver PM: The ptolemaics know how to get engineering done and their Sarubia is much more superior to the Rebel's. Di-Cokka Ver PM: 200 AP for 6000 HP, that is one of the best AP to HP values out there, heres some 6000 HP units that cost more than the Di-Cokka Ver PM, Black Hound, Slug Gunner, Protogunner. Not only does it have a decent hp stat, it has decent range and firepower. Girida-O Ver PM: As you can probably see from the previous pages, this thing is a monster, being able to punish units in the current meta like Claw, Donkey and Robot Morden Gunner Unit: A nice melee that is able to auto-knockback units when it hits them. It also can function as your anti-air, although this job can be done better by current meta units like Slug Flyer. I'll be more than happy to play against your deck, a fun deck vs fun deck, lets see how it goes. PM me if you're interested
Aye thanks man and no prob.. I still havent tried the pm sarubia.. is it really good? And I have the pm di cokka.. I like it and its an improvement over the regular di cokka.. I own the slug gunner, black hound, slug flyer, donkey slug.. I seen the wonders that the slug gunner can do.. and in fact its my favorite unit.. he is tye only unit I have leveled to level 25.. and I see your point.. my deck's weaknesses is air and patrol robot spawn... and when I get frustrated I ditch the soldiers for slug flyer and a unit if my choice.. I dint have apermanent de deck because I try to utilize and mix my other units as well.. I have two devices, so im trying a different deck on my other device... I had big units like "metal rear, augersternn, karn, slug gunner, claw, leona, ralf, the small helicopter, but I deleted my data because I was frustrated that the biggest units out there would sucumb to a smal patro robot.. and yet on my other device I can pretty well kind of deal against it... one advice tho. Never buy that man eater plant lol I gave it a shot and it disappointed me that's the reason I started over on that device haha, But yeaa.. I get your point and it would be interesting actually.. However how can I message you? Like I said I'm new here and dont know how to work this thing out lol Btw, good anti air units are slug gunner's special, donkey. Slug, protogunner although I dont have it, black hound, and regular o neil.. and cant tjink of the rest... I seen ppl shoot down r shobus with the hazmat tho, but late game they tend to just tale up space
Btw guys, I think thursday android will receive an update.. they usually do it every two weeks on a thursday
Didn't anyone tried Mortar? I think it's currently the most op unit. Easy to spam, heavy damage, extreme long range and penetrating special, and anti-air! It totally put Utan, Claw, Donkey and Morden Robot into trash bin. And I suggest combo-ing with the strongest wall: Paratrooper
I tried mortar and it seemed to be an alright unit but it still weak.. but based on your playstyle it may be either a good unit our just a space taker.. the paratrooper seems to stop unit advance which could become beneficial... From the three i liked the firework guy better xD being able to dodge some bullets with its dolphin dive.. and its rocket seems to do spread damage
is Hi-Do worth buying? imo it seems better than buying Metal Rear.. or should I buy Augensterm & Protogunner? I'm still waiting for the next update. my current deck. what do you think, guys?
It definitely worth building around it. All you need is just keep on spawning walls to cover them. Paratrooper + Modern Robot is cheap and fast enough to wall Mortars. Personally I recommend adding Special Force for heavy damage. That only takes 4 slots for a very strong early-to-late combo. Yes Mortar is strong from early to late. Even Patrol Robot has no match with Mortars. Just 3 early Mortars in front of your base can resist all rushing (only exclude Leona in short map) before the first MSA.
here you are And FYI Mortar's single shot damage is near to 4 shots from Black Hound, so I guess it's around 2000. That means 2 shots can definitely kill Morden or Claw or Donkey. Plus Mortar deals spread damage, thus very easy to kill a slow-moving Utan.
