The Panzer Army So I think I've finalized my deck for 1.10.1, I dubbed it the Panzer Army, as it has a lot of tank based units in it (Ok at least half lol). It plays like stall, but this deck with its multiple revisions has a good med game play now. Games will usually end in two victory scenarios (1) A stack of Girida-O V.PMs, Black Hounds, Patrol Bots, Robot Mordens at the end of the base OR (2) Heavies with the supporting units at the end. Panzer Army Leona Robot Morden Girida-O V.PM Patrol Bot Black Hound Commander (Want to replace with Slug Flyer) Shoe Karn Iron Nokana Mk.II Metal Rear Decided to drop the R-Shobu as he kept on getting shot down by AA fire. Also dropped the Jupiter King, as once I dropped him I would already be winning, so better to give up that slot for a tank unit like the Iron Nokana. This deck, I admit is not as competitive as some other decks. In fact, I first made this deck to see if a Shoe/Karn deck would work (As Shoe/Karn are my favorite unit, great SNK buffed them <3 ). How this deck works is, as time goes on in the battle, you will keep getting stronger and stronger, until you run over the enemy with the heavies. However, this deck does have an early game issue, but once it goes over that stage, it's pretty much even fight. Two strategies I love doing in both 1v1 and 2v2. #1. Short Maps/Some Medium Maps 1. Upgrade AP once and drop Leona to get value 2. Depending on how well Leona does, I would keep upgrading AP until I knew she was going to die. Then drop Robot Morden and Patrol Bot. 3. Drop Girida-O V.PM, along with additional robot mordens and patrol bots. Also drop the occasional Black Hound, Commander, and/or Iron Nokana when possible 4. Repeat until you reach the 280 AP and save up around 1300 AP. 5. Drop Shoe, Karn, Metal Rear (Although its optimal to send additional forces along with them) 6. Steamroll over your opponent, although a good MSA would hurt your forces. The heavies should last until another batch can be dropped. A stack of 2 Shoe, Karn, Metal Rear, (Maybe Iron Nokana, although as a tanker, he dies quickly) is a deadly long dps death ball (Even better with further commander and patrol bot support). #2 Some Medium Maps/Large Maps 1. Here Leona becomes an empty slot, but thats ok in this large map setting. Try to upgrade your AP at least 3 times, its crucial to have at least three. If your opponent does nothing by the time a Girida-O V.PM could be dropped, go for another AP and continue upgrading until you see an unit pop out. 2. Drop Girida-O V.PM and Robot Morden (Better if the Girida-O comes out first) 3. Repeat spawning and continue upgrading AP when possible. Also send supporting units like Patrol Bots and Black Hounds. 4a. If you manage to get at least 1300 ap (Doesn't matter what AP Level), immediately drop Shoe/Karn/Metal Rear and keep sending supporting units. 4b. If you're making a good push with the stack of Girida-O V.PM and Robot Mordens, try to finish the game by spawning all the lower cost units. 5. Do step #5 in short maps This is how I play so far with this deck, I'm sure there is a more optimal way to play and I'll frequently try to incorporate new units in upcoming units, although I would like to keep at least 5 tanks to keep up with the deck name lol.
I'm always against spending medals on units that won't help you at higher ranks. I'm sad we talked a newbie into such a purchase. Just so it's clear for the rest of the thread, Leona is a dead slot against expert-level decks. If you take any two well-formed decks, the one without Leona will perform better on all map sizes.
The Leona opening strategy is so overrated even on small maps. Donkey Slug + Utan will always prevail when the opposition sends out Leona at the beginning of the match. She's actually easy to counter and serves no purpose in mid to late game.
Yeah, a newbie having 2 million experience points, woo-hoo. Also newbie? Seriously? Remind me when u joined this game and forums. Just because I never decided to actually post on this forums doesn't make me automatically makes me a "newbie". Also stop being a negative nancy, jeez you're so uptight about a free phone game, not even MLG. I already have things such as Donkey Slug, Claw unit, Utan and etc etc etc. I really don't care about getting the "most powerful" deck on the game, I love playing the game for fun. Not only is my deck able get me some wins, but its fun to play with. Before you go off I shouldn't be having that great of a winrate, 111 Wins 14 Losses for 1v1 (Just started like last week on 1v1) and 710 wins and 228 losses on 2v2. I never disconnect, I take my loss fair and square. Also, stop acting like you're so superior to me, I know how the game meta works, but at the play style of early game is really boring and repetitive. Stop judging the deck just because it has some units you disagree with. Personally, I like Leona, since it helps with the short map weakness I have on this deck. If you think Leona is overrated, I think Claw, Donkey, Utan is overrated, as I actually see no threat behind them. "Oh they're dangerous if they stack", yeah thats the case with EVERY unit in the game. Wished some of you guys had a new deck that not 90% were following and is able to actually go toe-to-toe with them, not just netdecking. Also following the meta does not make it an "expert" deck, its just able to follow the meta so far. Personally, I hate fighting or having arguments over the internet, it gets everyone nowhere. (As we saw in dabossofu and 12345678). If you don't like that I don't have a strong early game, thats your opinion. My opinion is having a better med and late game is better, since it leads to long epic fights, (Which deck is designed to do) and the early game will always transition to the med/late game and is not forever. Edit: Stupid mobile
It depends on what you call "prevailing". If you consider spending two unit slots and 140AP to counter a single 80AP unit a "good idea", then that's fine by me. I call it "you just lost the early game", and I'll happily capitalise on the advantage it gives me. And that's putting aside that on the smallest maps, Leona will typically survive that particular combo, granting a further AP advantage from the kills she collects. Frankly a single Claw Unit would fare better than your suggested combo.
Agree, all I have to do is drop a claw unit + tarman combo to beat her and pressure his base with them. After that clone fio or patrol bot will win me the match.
its starting to heat up again, anyways all of us has different opinions on things... im a sarubia pm ver fan thou and no one cares(^_*)... still thou its cool and no harm done to me, just keep an open mind on the matter..
I agree with joseph, everyone has their own opinion AND playing style. I played the normal meta deck, and I didn't have fun with it. Just my opinion. I like my current deck, and although criticism is always nice, I wished users actually tried out the deck before writing it off so quickly. Words on a paper can different on action.
Yo, I had no intention of offending you. I judge people by their statements, not by stats that don't mean anything. I got the impression you were a newer player looking to improve your wins. Not that you were simply looking for fun options. It's important to add context to the statements we make - for people that are new to the thread and trying to catch up what the game's really like. Lots of statements were made about Leona out of context that sounded like she was generally useful. She is great for lower-rank stomping. I'm sure she is a very fun unit. She is not great against well-formed decks. Just wanted to clear that up.
Only thing I was offended by was the quick dismissal of the deck. Like I said, I love fun decks (Shove all the bosses in a deck!) that are able to get some wins pretty reliably. If you could build this deck, I would highly recommend it if you want that sort of feeling, although it is very medal heavy. And sure, maybe now my statement of this deck of getting high win rates is notably going down (Thanks Patrol Bot), but its still able to get a better win rate than a loss rate. Wishing no bad blood, gotta work as a community eh? I might do unit reviews like Chigga, based on a bit underrated units, since I wouldn't mind buying these units to review
Ya I didn't even mean any of what I said to be about your deck or post at all, just those other posts about Leona.
Hey all. New update came out not too long ago. Can someone post the level 20 stats of the units from the Halloween update and this new update? They did not fix the customization screen crash. I'd like to update my guide. You will be credited.
I recently bought the hi do.. Lvl 20 hp is 14000, lvl25 is 15750 hp.. Didn't use it yet on actual combat.. Gonna review it after a couple of matches on 1v1 and 2v2
Since i bought that Hi Do (i bought only this unit in new update), my game always crashed every time i try to open the customization unit menu, only can customize deck.. Any one have same problem?..
It's an issue with the game and on some phones that can't handle more than a certain amount of units on screen at once. MS1-3 were done by "HIYA!(Takushi Hiyamuta ), Captain Beroou, maitaro, Hori_Hori, Q_JIROU" MS4-5, 7 were done by "Toshikazu Tanaka" MS6 by Manabu Namiki Same people?
Hi-DO is the only new unit that seems worthwhile. It's sort of like a mixture of R-Shobu and the Hover Vehicle. I like it's attack but it doesn't seem to stay in battle too long. I'm using it in my deck currently and it's special is useful for taking out groups of mid to low AP units.
Ok here's my review on hi-do.. All of it is my opinion though.. Feel free to disagree Pros: Has huge hp.. 14000 on lvl 20, 15750 on lvl25 Has decent normal attack damage(long ranged) spread Has a very strong special(anti army on land) spread Has a safety first approach, it only exposes itself when it's uses its special then it flies at the very back of your field(possible to stack 2 hi-dos for max damage) A good air defender, if used with conjuction with his special Cons: Huge ap costs Has a certain deck setup to be effective 400medals..are you kidding? (that's 2months worth of pvp medals) ... For me hi do is a support unit(who stays at the back) , don't be fooled of his huge hp(it's for its special so he could take hits when exposing itself under fire in the middle of a fight).. what I notice some players just release them as early as Possible ALONE or minimal front line units .. End result is if matched against strong players, it will be shot down fast.. Treat it like you treat a Jupiter king, needs a lot of units in front of it. It's good to be partnered up with a slug flyer to counter other hi-dos.. It will just end to whose more skilled on using a flyer(double special?) Again it's just my take, feel free to voice out your opinions too so we could help each other.. Besides were a community here ei! Peace out bros OH.. I highly recommend it on 2v2.. On 1v1 it's a bit tricky, first to send out a hi do with proper front liner units usually will have the early advantage
