Prisoner is set totally at random right from start (from 0-3). Getting S-rank won't help the chance freeing more POWs.
There are stages at "another world" (pressing the switch map button at bottom right at Sortie), where getting S-ranks will grant you items. Those maps have no POWs to be rescued.

    anyways on topic now:
what are the best knock back units in the game?(except aerials)
    criterias that i need are:

    has good hp
    has decent damage
    good range
    has cheap ap value

claw unit(atleast on jumping(range)) and mummy trev(its special) are the front runners.. sam tank has long wind up thou.. any suggestions?

S ranks are achieved purely for the money. The best time to use the reward icon is on a level you can S rank.

Does anyone know if Mummy Trevor takes damage while in the jumping animation?

in my experience so far, theres a slight invulnerability... just like when some units get knocked backed they dont receive damage in a split second

If bullet fire/MSA passes through a stunned unit, then it has a invincible time. But there are nothing like units lying on the ground and eats all bullets without getting a hurt.

Well if just focusing on special attack, I would like to add Hopper Mecha & Ralf.
But IMO if you want a good knock back tactic, a pack of shooting units works the best as for the sustainability.
That's why a group of patrol robots always own the game.

yeah they are good stunners, my only problem with them is their safety.. their ap value too is a bit high(170).. ralf seems to be the strongest infantry, he is a good bet early on..

Ah, I'd sorta thought that some of those stages gave items, some of them didn't, and there wasn't any point to clearing any of them more than once. I know I consistently got items (often medals) for clearing the last stage of a given area.

Going back and taking another look, I see that the game hasn't recorded my ranks for clearing those missions. I've no idea as to those which I S-ranked and those I did not.

Re-doing a few of the levels there doesn't seem to be popping any more rewards. Either I already S-ranked all those missions, you only get a shot at the rewards on your first clear, or you may be mistaken.

I guess I'll hold off on testing further until I've got all the prisoners (not many to go!). Those levels drain sortie points like a black hole.

I hadn't noticed they gave more MSP, though that certainly makes sense. I've not used any reward icons yet, so I suppose I could spam them into one of those 60 sortie point stages and get a load out of S-ranks, but... I already have over seven million MSP. :S

yeah.. sorry about that, its just that im not used to arguments on forums(btw this is my first forum that i joined:) )..
about the deck part, maybe at one point in time that deck kicked butt(in essence its a good MSA blocker), i tried many experiments before and i share some win and fail situations..

you guys seems to be on iOS, im on android so i could only make assumptions(this thread is actually for iOS so sorry in behalf of all android users on this page who hijacked the thread :) )(often times iOS and android users has a 1update difference so its a bit confusing sharing infos)

Iron iso is always a good pick :) With Donald Morden it can break stalls quite efficient

iron iso's damage can kill a monkey in one shot(monkey has 580 hp) so i pressumable iron iso has 580+ damage, imagine stacking 2 or 3 iron iso respectively(with protection) ...almost 1500+ damage on a wide area(not too shabby).. sadly its fragile and has no push back

You seem very ignorant on this topic, there are many ways one can abuse their connection to gain advantage in online games. Including this one.

Thus the saying " attempt to win by lagging"

Hi, im was not trying to argue with you, and youre gunna have to trust me when i say i know more about lag switching than I may seem (hence the reference), but as a dirty android user, I'm just reading the flame-war and makin popcorn hehe. If you ask me(which you arent, but idc) there is only one better deck, which is usually who has the stronger(zpecific) counters for every (different) player's deck, that's just how this game works. Deal with it.

BUT if you want to prove who's the better player, there is only one possible way to do that, and that is through playing mirror decks. If you ask me (Which i know youre not, hahaha!), ya'll should use only free units.

I was gunna say each others decks, but their is an element of playstyle which can affect the outcome, which only really matters competitively) . Ill throw you a freebie, you can switch out one or.two.units. Reserve one unit for a wild card, and who knows, that one unit might determine the victory or the loss

Monkey has 550 at lvl 25, joseph. But if youre pushing, two or three isos at a distance, iso can be quite devastating.

Yea but he was arguing about his deck being better...........

And tbh if we use the same decks in this game I'd have to argue that the wins would be 95% luck and 5% skills SINCE the loser can literally COPY the winner's every move......... ( all they have to learn is their main strategy)

Not at all. Youre pretty.much just bringing it back to 1.1. Where people were getting dominated even with identical decks or near identical (remember, samtank trevor combo was a real thing) Luck only has any part depending on the units (monkeys are a great example) . Also the wild card units can be anything from a sandbag to a big heavy cooldown boss unit, which is why i believe it's the other way around; mirror decks are 95% skill(how well you know the gMe +deck) and 5% luck.

Either way, i think this would be a fun experiment, dontyathink? :)
