my counter for the units that you mention above are AOE(area of effect) units, but its quite expensive too..(special mention to claw unit, ring LM,Patrol bot)...thats the units that i have right now, i dont have the biker dude so in cant comment on him.. first is up my ap 2-3 times(sometimes enemy ups their ap to 4 lvls buying you some time) enemy usually sends claw unit+monkey, followed by a donkey/ring LM/zombie counter: first is claw unit, followed by ring LM, then a back up unit patrol bot.. if claw vs claw dont jump first, bump him and then jump is more effective(but be careful wrong timing can knock you back).. for things to work out you MUST make space for ring LM(damage dealer) to use its special( 2beams is preffered, but 1 is enough for the monkey) by using claw unit effectively.. then patrol bot+your preffered unit or vice versa(aerials?,or ranged support unit) ..the strategy on these part is that you must protect at all cost the patrol bot..its special knocks back crowds.. just repeat the claw+ring LM to provide space for it.. having 2 patrol bots on your field gives you a fighting chance(just beware of enemies MSA and aerials) until then i can survive until they send there heavies using those 3/4 units (20-30secs or so) hope this helps
Just fight fire with fire. As for counters against spammable decks, I like Hover Vehicle and Clone Fio or Zombie Marco because their attacks do spread damage and take out multiple groups of low AP units. I find the Special Force (Rider) to have a weak attack as it doesn't do much damage against medium AP units.
Special Force Rider has a pretty long build up time with his attack animation too. He tends to get killed before he even charges.
Special Force (Rider), right? I don't think it will solve your problem. It costs a lot, and doesn't have nearly the stopping power of an MSA. It'll get blocked by the Claw units you're seeing, as well as Tar Man and Ring Laser Mecha. It doesn't answer Utan at all while Claw (and maybe Tar Man) is up. Every deck needs an early and late-game. The game isn't only about rushing right now, your deck is just super-lacking in that area. Your current unit selection is simply too slow. Your only early game units are Claw, Clark, and Iron Iso. Clark alone doesn't spawn fast enough to provide enough backup to your Claw Unit. I'd think about adding one of the following: - Ring Laser Mecha - Utan - Donkey Slug - Ralf I've had my rush defended by Claw + two of the uber infantry (Ralf, Clark, Leona). It comes down to timing, execution, and well-placed MSAs. Ring Laser Mecha answers Utan unquestionably and Native to a fair extent, and is probably also great late-game. I haven't used Tar Man or Scientist against it, though. Donkey Slug is exceptional, I'm going to grab it next. I don't know if it will answer rushes without Utan as well, however.
hey guys.. i was just wondering if you had an idea of the damage your units deal? there is no unit damage description..so i was thinking on making one..(but its gonna take a long time). my method is simple.. i will base it on how many hits a unit with a certain hp can take.. i know its not full proof but atleast we get an estimate or so.. ex: 1.Ring laser mecca(3400hp) vs monkey(520hp), -RLM one hits monkey so its normal damage is probably 520~600? 2.Native(1400hp) vs native(1400hp) - a native can kill his own kind with 2 normal hits +1 special.. so based on that is -350~400 normal damage per hit/ and maybe 700~800 special damage 3.Hopper mecca(1600hp)vs native(1400hp) -a normal suicide cant kill a native in one shot/probable 800normal damage -a special by a hopper mecca can kill a native in oneshot (probable 1400+ damage, 1400~1600 special damage)<<<(in theory,i based it on hoppers max hp) oh boy, its gonna be alot of work though including hard to estimate karn/shoe,aerials so im iffy haha
I tried something similar but less technical. Just tried a bunch of units and saw how many shots were necessary to kill a unit. i.e.: LV Armor is better than Slugnoid (even though Slugnoid shots 4 lasers instead of LV Armor's 3). I realized Metal Claw, SV-001's and many other units have a very weak attack. You need many, many shots to kill a single unit. That's why I prefer piercing attacks like RLM, Iron Iso, Clark You can try playing a stage against Sasquash and try different units to see which one kills it faster. Monkey has little HP so you won't have a decent idea.
Hey guys! Thanks a lot for the tips. Really helpful. My deck really lacks on early game. I was going to buy Ring Laser Mecca today, but then, a new update. Ver 1.8.0 for android is out!!! A whole new world!!! Upgrade HQ to lvl 30!! 5 new special missions. Damn, I love this game once again. For now, I'm going to wait and see the new units, before I spend my medals. The fights with lvl 30 gave me an advantage, the ap raises faster. As my units are medium to high aps, it gives me some advantage for now. Great job SNK. PS: the new missions are Really really REALLY easy. 3 minutes to do then all.
I will try to unlock the new stuff later tonight. That way my guide can be updated quickly. Nothing new in the shop. All new units have tp be unlocked in the latter 4-5 stages of the new world which is the same as the previous but with a higher difficulty.

This is my favorite game on a mobile platform. I love the frequency of updates as well. There is no need to spend real money if you grind.

Thanks PS Tried to install android on a virtual machine, but to open all of the units in the store, you need to fully pass the game that I will not do it naturally.

im kind of late updating metal slug defense, obtaining pows today seems to be hitting some specific areas.. and i find 4 items are the max drop per mission, (edit: scratch that.. it seems it exceeds 4 when on higher stages) hazmat suit seems to be the best finder unit(pows,items etc), they have short special cooldown and is arcing.. sometimes there are hidden pow/item on the very start/near your base and hazmat hits all areas effectively..(just spam its special) (edit: im such an idiot.. samurai planes are the best..)(i red on their fb page a while ago)
