hey bro.. are you talking about the green background world 6-4.. bigshee stage? your image seems to be invalid or atleast in wrong format because i cant see your deck..(try to just start with a http: )(edit: i think the link went into the wrong link?) by the way that stage is hard to finish without medal units..(even with jking and morden i had a hard time) all i can advice to you without seing your deck is that "ap max" . my deck in that if i can remember is snail sam tank gunnner unit fat fio native caterpillar nokana mk 2 elephant morden jking (even then i only finished it with brute force(no strategy) with an "ap max" and a "satelite")
Oh yeah, now I remember I beat it with Aplvl max as well. I didn't use medals though. You can get them free randomly in world 3, I heard.
Hey thanks for replying me. I have beaten the stage with AP Max, I'm just wandering is it possible to win the game without using items?
With the new patch what would be some good premium units to buy? I gotta set up a legit deck to start playing online.
I replaced Slugnoid with Morden in "Iron Emu" and I'm on a huge winstreak. At least 15 games. It could be luck, but I think it's safe to replace it / LV Armor with a heavy (at least in 2v2).
Metal Slug Defense (by SNK Playmore) iOS, v1.5 Here's one I wrote for v1.4: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showpost.php?p=3309321 It's still mostly true, plus the addition of those 4 new units. You can also sub flying units for 1 or 2 heavies. For reference, I'm running this: Gunnner Unit MG Unit Samurai Tanks LV Armor Iron ISO Giant Caterpillar Elephant Slug Jupiter King Hover Unit R. Shobu It's just an edited "Iron Emu" deck posted by mtzen, based on my v1.4 machine gun deck. The two fliers is his idea, though. It's incredibly solid, very difficult to counter-pick, and is strong in all stages of the match. Flip back a couple pages for the full write up from mtzen.
And without further ado... my tier list for 1.5! This is a list I made just for fun. Its based on my observation of the decks in this thread, my personal experience, and my subjective opinion. Let me know you disagree with one of my rankings or if I forgot anything. Again, these rankings are just my opinion!
Native rushes with air support is giving "Iron Emu" fits in 1v1, especially on small maps. Natives come out too quick for 3AP --> spawn units strategy. If you spawn a group of mechs, then they'll get rocked by an airstrike. Might have to swap Hopper Mecha out for slugnoid just to keep lines from getting too pushed, at least in 1v1.
I usually handle Native rushes by pushing units out at 2AP, instead... it usually works, although I have yet to see the Native + air support version in 1.5, since the iOS crowd is still figuring things out.
You may know this already guys but i will still share this info.. it happened on my last game, me and my partner are in a pinch on 2v2.. our units got destroyed by the enemies 1st back to back MSA but their units somehow survived from our MSAs..then their massive army started to march to our base, but every time he uses r-shobu i also used my r-shobu.. to my surprise its very effective to match his arial assaults.. little by little we regained territory and had a comeback.. I think its better somehow to follow your partners arial assault than to just manually spam it regardless.. were just lucky we had this mutual understanding in the nick of time
I believe aerial units is better teaming with ground ranged units. Aerial destroys or pushes back the wall, while opponent suffers heavy fire when walking back to the battle line. Right now my 2v2 deck is composed of: R-Shobu Hover Unit MG Unit Samurai Tanks SV-001 Exp Slug Gunner Shoe Elephant Slug Big Caterpillar Jupiter King
yeah your right,i can't argue with that... its hard to win on one area alone.. it must be balanced(both on land and aerial units).. a team up of aerial unit assault has its merrits too(although in my case its situational), it kills walls and nearby units twice as fast(to prevent them from using their specials and add to their cooldown..very important to me) or softens them up very quickly..
I'll try that out, thanks! Had a lot of fun on a huge 2v2 map recently. The opponents were stalling, so we spammed airstrike after airstrike while stacking AP. Their base was getting hit, so they started sending units, only to have them destroyed by a missile barrage. Their heavies couldn't get past our trickle of mechs and our airstrikes. As soon as we destroyed their heavies, we spawned a big mob of our own since theirs were on cooldown. I've seen this "air stall strategy" a few times. Irritating to play against; fun to try with a smart partner.
I wonder if it's possible to win using the spammiest deck ever aka all the units with the lowest production times. Must have Rebel Soldier + Soldier + Arabian Soldier
