I'd play you, but I'm on iOS. Unfortunately, it's a big pain to set up matches in this game, since the only option is "PLAY ME RIGHT NOW" with no chat / lobby functionality. There's me, about an 85% win rate. I take losses pretty frequently because I fiddle with my deck all the time and I keep requesting a bunch of matches when I lose. It's not that hard to accumulate wins, though. Most players can't deal with proper decks, and the players who have good units often refuse rematches and playing sets if you have a chance at beating them to protect their win records, even though no one else can see them. The reality is that win records are meaningless because the matchmaking isn't effective. Players aren't forced to play at their own rank, so win percentage isn't a reliable measure of ability.
Sorry to say again that I'm playing with ios. If you have an i-device I'd be welcoming to add me at [email protected] And @Spiel Chow the very main point is not about the win or loss ratio. It's about a giant change to the meta game environment. Before 1.3 it's more favorable to a AP Stacking build. You just need to bump out Trevor and SamTank and wait for a J.King then you own the battle. Now such build is weakened so much, as Trevor stun less. If you stack AP, you probably end-up with your J.King stuck at base and into infinite stun mode. Well one can easily build a God-like handsome scoretable by simply quitting losing matches. So I think the fun part should be deck-designing and micro-strategies but not victory screenshots.
@watashi101: What's your GameCenter? I'm just Emuchu. Let's try some matches, I still need to figure out the opening game. I can't find any randoms that are willing to play long sets so I can experiment.
This new update has brought a lot of content but the one improvement I hope for is that we can have deck arrangement sorting via AP cost, health, attack, etc. The current sorting options aren't very useful IMO. It will also be nice for SNK Playmore to provide balance changes to the units in notes as a heads-up.
its nice that the iOS had the update now, so everyone is on the same page . . Based on my experience on this 1.3.0 update, no deck is 100% unbeatable,heck, even a mirror deck(same as opponent) is a 50-50 deal..(this is where your skill shines) . . the meta game focuses mostly on skills now(both early,mid game, and late).. and stacking affordable ap units early... . . then I find the iron iso fun... its fragile but if you stack it up and has proper placing it has serious offensive support..
I think that the use of your skills must be the focus of the entire game... Yes iron iso is my favorite too... Now it has 2000 hp instead of 1600, deploy faster and is cheaper than before!!! I think of them as the terran siege tank of metal slug
Hi guys, can someone quickly tell me how to unlock shoe and karn? I've been playing for a while and can't seem to find how to get them.
what do you mean by unlock? is it the shoe or karn emergency mission or by units? . . . on emergency missions... I think its tuesday, kazakhstan mission 3... . . . if by obtaining them, sorry mate.. they are in the shop,far right corner(they costs medals 220 each i think?)
I don't have Shoe and Karn in my shop. I already have almost all units but Shoe and Karn. How can I unlock it to buy from the shop? Is there a mission I have to beat?
hmmm... that's odd.. have you finished playing both worlds? (I mean finishing the game and after that, world two will be unlocked) finish that too... If I recall, (cause my memory is a bit foggy) some units will just appear in shops when you progressed further in the game... I just cant remember what specific part of the game you unlock karn and shoe... If anything that ive said doesnt work then im lost too...
Do short attack units such as Ralf and Leona actually add value to your deck? I would think they're inability at long range attacks makes them sort of useless.
I have 320 medals to spend... I want karn or a giant crab... I don't know about the ring laser mecha... Someone have it? I suspect that it is too slow to attack and is pushed back too often...
sad that you're on IOS, and i strongly disagree with the AP Stacking build weaken part. it's still good to efficiently spend your AP, however by using trevor and samtank start anymore (which is considered truly as noob startup now) Jupiter King will not stuck in base if you know how to bring correct unit to support him ... it's no longer a come out and own everything unit. Finally I don't quit matches unless sudden phone call in or sms in which will interrupt my game play. And one last thing, based on my observation on all the posting. I really don't think have a really wrong gameplay. However, for Emuchu, i believe he should be a good player. Again I disagree that you said winning game is not important, the whole motive of this game is to be obtain invincible level of winning on every single match up, no matter strong or weak opponents without single excuse. However, I still lose a lot of game and only manage to grip on to around 7:1 ratio due to many strong japanese players in this game which I believe to own every single units from the shop and had tried all of them. Meanwhile, as a non money player, I can only afford to buy and try what I had deeply research into, and my strategy is very limited because of lacking of varieties of unit.
