same here.. need advice too about what char that i have to pick in early game pvp.. still can't decide whose better..
bro actually im planning to have these in my deck for early game: giant snail - i dont know why but i keep on losing to players using this. im still lack of medals so i cant but this currently lv armor - for me its better than trevor specially if u release it special first sam tank - i still consider this as ok in early game compare to trevor. im sick of him already lol. if only there is an option to sell units which u are not using already and gain some medals maybe. i definitely sell him out haha clark - it can be considered but provided that u have extra 150 medals hopper mecca - sometimes it cant even get closer to ur opponents' units and for me, its special is quite difficult to execute. so i dont like this one
It´s a heard decision, but I think I will be using Big Snail, Samurai Tank and LV Armor. Also I wanted to mention, that yesterday someone completely destroyed me using a combination of Leona, Nadia and Adul Abbas early game!
Was the Iron Nokana Mk 2 already there before the update? That's the only thing I noticed that seemed new.
lol haha in my experience my opponent just used leona alone and i was defeated. he always releases leona first and since she is fast she can always get close to my lv armor+samtank. this happens when i release my units after he release leona. what i did to counter is, i make sure that i will release lv armor+samtank first before he release leona or same time as him. in this way my units will be able to charge their specials and i will b able to use it before leona gets closer. with the specials and a few hits, leona is dead actually they can be deadly but once u get to know how to counter them, then they somehow becoming useless.
oh that was after the update bro. together with the flying mini ufo. so there's nothing more added to the shop. i guess the new emergencies are not that exciting after all. i can afford not to have sortie points haha
bro maybe u would like to consider this deck: trevor samtank clark caterpilar green crab karn elephant nokana mk2 morden jupiiter king everytime i encounter the guy using this deck i cant win against him. even if sometimes he even give me a headstart. it will always end up my units being pushed back to my base. but using this deck means buying more units from teh shop haha. by the way this is my deck currently: samtank lv armor slug gunner drill slug sv -001 type-r caterpilar elephant allen jking morden my strategy depends on how long is the battle range. if its short (i.e. the 2 bases can be seen in the screen without swiping left or right). then i will release samtank+lv armor followed by any units available. sometimes i only upgrade my AP twice. haha. then just keep on releasing whichever unit is available. most of the time im winning.
Thanks for the idea, but I don´t have enough medals to get all the units. But meybe I will buy some soon. My current deck also has Trevor, Samurai Tank and Clark as early game units but they get their ass kicked very often.
From the start, even in the trevor era..I could'nt stress it enough. Big snail is a must, well for me anyways... Pros: -Its a real counter to MSA attacks AND caterpillar rush+almost all special attacks known to Metal slug defense...(just need prediction and timing activating its protect special) -The premier tanking unit on low ap units -100ap only -almost completely stops melee units (abul abas,samurai rushes,leona,hopper mecha etc) -has surprisingly decent speed(for a snail)...marches infront of the line were its needed...and its attack animation is pretty fast too -has deceptive attack distance...although short, its pretty far(almost normal range...not to mention its spread)...kills clustered emenies or atleast softens them up for your other units -decent damage for a 100ap unit Cons: -must be accompanied by a offensive unit...to counter other snails(or not,depends on your strategy) -costs 40medals -melee -hard to time his special if there are many units on screen... conclusion: Giant snail still rocks ......... Im kinda dissapointed in nokama mk.II, its kinda easy to kill(just 1 full caterpillar rush and some shots), it runs infront of my units and because its big it absorbs all the damage(,must partner up to morden though)... its saving grace is its the thing that breaks the stalemate..I only spawn him last after all my heavy units cannot push forward... my deck btw di cokka/sarubia/fat marco snail samurai tank melty honey(recent)....has high hp +normal range spread(kinda sucks because attacks to slow...must be partner uped to a high flinching unit) claw tank(recent).....surprisingly good..high hp and decent damage caterpillar elephant jupiter k morden mk.II(recent).....meh.. good and bad,depends on the situation

I havent tried the sv-001types that costs medals...only the basic one I only bought melty honey because of its hp and normal spread attacks, its has alot of weaknesses(offensivelly)actually... I just focus on spawning multiple units at once in order to maximize its strengths... . . The meta game I noticed now is that the one who can spawn many low ap units early has the upper hand,can end the game early, or keeps enemy units at bay(they cannot advance),its hard to win on a comeback unless you swipe all his accumulated low ap units... to counter it, I focused on spread damage early and high hp units(the ones that can survive a MSA attack)and over power them until I spawn my heavies...for backup I havent tried personally the lv armor... but I also see him very often now, and the monkey(pretty rare before). lv armor (he has only 80ap)<<<a big win (has long single attack)<<<<decent enough (has long spread special)<<<a big win I think has 1200hp on lvl1, 2400hp I pressume if lvl 20<<<<<slightly above average..but because i think he flies backwards if been hit too much...it increasing his survival... Its just my insight mate so I hope it helps
Yeah I wanted to try LV Armor out but I wasn´t shure because its over 100 medals. But now I have a lineup of Big Snail, Hopper Mecha and Samurai Tank and its great!!! If you want you can try it out. The enemy has no chance early game
hey guys.. have you encountered beating a high ranking player but end up earning less points? my scenario: our 1st match he outlasted me, he scratch my base via morden airstrike so he won(we are almost on a stalemate in a wide battlefield)him earning 2600+points,me earning 800+points something... on the rematch,I thrashed him via full early offense in 20 seconds(smaller location).. this time he earned 2764 points and me 1980 only... I mean what gives? is this a bug? It happened to me again on a different player... I feel cheated
Finally been playing for almost a month but still yet to receive the powerful Elephant Slug. Being a non money spending player, it's really hard to cope with those who have the ability to spend and try everything. Have been playing half of the month only using default unit with lotsa patient without spending a single medals until the time is right. And finally with the new release and patch I have enough medals to purchase just 3 units which give me a significant competitiveness in the game yet still not up against people who have the ability to spend lotsa money in it. However I am pretty much satisfy with my achievement by having a ratio of almost 6:1 now with more than 400 wins. And not to mention a lot of them against some of the best players in the game. Here are some of the game worth mentioned. Most of them are really good players, and every single of them have significant deck advantage against me, not to mention having all the best unit in game, tried all of them, and already have the legendary elephant slug. Hope my luck will stay and keep on beating the titans. Finally my 500th win in this addictive mobile game with a ratio of 6:1. The road has not been easy especially against so many better players and especially those who willing to investing real world money into it. If you are playing please add me to Google play for friendly match.
Very nice! A ratio of 6:1 is awesome!!! But how do you do it?!?! Can you show us your deck please? I have won against advanced players myself but only at the early game because I have a of lack heavies... I have a decent rate of success against the stall to J. King "strategy"... I spawn elephant slug (his special can outrange J. King and push him back), a good timing with the MSA and finally 3-4 stacked iron iso for support ( I love artillery...). The big snail is good but I counter it with Trevor, LV armor and di cokka... I want ring laser mecha to further increase my chance against snails and others tanking early units
It's better for us to directly have a friendly match you can see my deck. Of course you need to be on Google Play platform. Honestly my deck isn't great as I didn't invest into any medal purchased, all gained from mission and farm through VS matchup. I have seen you strongly recommend samtank and trevor in your reply, I am very please if I can show you how this combination don't work anymore. That is why all the previous good players keep on losing
