^^ You should use the bonus item to increase those numbers. Impressive BTW. I'm at 650k coins. Just saving them for future. Not gonna buy Wrath nor submarine.
Thanks Joseph. I don't have a problem doing it now... but my main problem is actually finishing that stage lol. It's so hard. I know that I need a melee attack deck or at least 5 units. I am using Leona, and also the black and white cats but I need more. Mai is useless as she practically stays right on the base meaning they'll always hit it when they go to hit her. Who should I use?
If you can survive to the first metal slug attack, you should be ok. Sometimes I get screwed at the beginning of the stage depending on how many locust will come and how long will the boss attack with red needles. I general I do this: AP, AP, green hazmat. Now wait for green hazmat to spawn a zombie. If you get a kill, spawn bradley ver. pm and start spamming white cats (and use their jump) or scientist zombie. From now on spawn native bird, bradley and white cats and use their special attacks. A lot of button mashing, but you should kill the boss. If the boss uses needles use elephant slug to protect the base. Here you can see the video: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm27663751 or without login: http://en.niconico.sarashi.com/?sm27663751
The red samurai is pretty good there. You can spam him, he runs fast, and his kamikaze special turns him invincible but won't stop Sol from trying to hit him until he blows up. I'd pack an anti-air unit too, shooting down the bats and locusts will get you lots of coin drops. I think it's the best level for farming once you get the hang of protecting the base because there's so many cannon fodder enemies packed in tight quarters to kill.
Using a big unit will protect your base from Sol Dae Rokker red flares. Put the Big Shiee. Video shows a cool strategy. That Bird Native is quite good.
Low on sortie you say?! http://globalmetalslugdefense.blogspot.com/2015/11/grind-fest-sortie-edition.html?m=0 Bow down to me humans! Jokes aside hope this helps
Thanks everyone for your help. I think I'll be able to get there soon enough, but I don't like buying units simply for the sake of completing an event and winning 15 medals!
I just realised that you can have more sortie points than 670. If you reach the max sortie points and can't play, just enter one of the high cost levels like 4-3, 4-4. This way you will "store" 300 sortie points in the level and the remaining 370 points will increase to the max again. Effectively you can have 970 sortie points. And I want to ask what are most active communities for MSD? This thread on touch arcade is still active, http://globalmetalslugdefense.blogspot.jp/ is constantly updated and there's is always the facebook page. Are there anymore?
as far as i know there are some, gamefaqs is one.. other sites ive seen isnt in english http://guild.gamer.com.tw/wikimenu.php?sn=9181 althou this one isnt active anymore
Can anyone tell me what's problem? http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm27693801 http://en.niconico.sarashi.com/?sm27693801
^^ Some nasty bug? Doubt you can replicate that. Once I played the last cat mission using the Fever Time. I summoned many, many motorcycles and instead of destroying the base, they went by. Long ago there was a bug with Fat Eri (I think) were the laser beam stayed on screen all the time. It was happening often and it was cool when you used it in 2Pvs2P. Bugs occur.
Heh, if memory serves, the laser not only stayed on the screen but had infinite range. Made her pretty popular, at the time.
Ok my friends, I am not proud to say that I am part of the elite group of players who have successfully completed every mission in the event. 4-4 took A LOT of trial & error as well as careful, strategic deck formation and resources to complete. So... I had Leona and one of the KOF fighters on hand for a quick deck exit, as well as Mai who can attack from a distance (to keep herself protected from the fire that comes from the base), and then I had the Purple J King there as a Melee who could also protect the base, and then the almighty stone turtle to act as a wall. The Elephant Slug was also on hand to protect the base and use his penetrating fireball and also attack from a distance and not get burnt, and I also had the Slug Gigant for his green special sonic boom, and the cat fridge and cat slug. As well as this I had to use the AP Max from the start and 1 repair base, so it cost me a fair bit and for what? A measly 20,000 coins. I think they would have at least given me something like 50,000 considering how much it costs us.
Anyway guys, what do your 3 decks consist off? Deck 1: This is my impenetrable wall, consisting of 5 big units (Slug Gigant, 2 x J Kings, Stone Turtle, General Morden - original), 2 x medium units (Elephant Slug, Cyborg Allen) and 3 small units, (Leona, Mai and KOF character). Deck 2: Reserve deck. Basically any units that get relegated from Deck 1 as time goes on end up here. Deck 3: Event Deck! This deck pretty much gets changed and chopped around according to whatever event is going on.
Fio, You should check Hyun video showing how to pass stage 4-4 on AUTO. Pretty clever. globalmetalslugdefense.blogspot.com (post from 30-nov). I used to put on AUTO on stage 4-3 using air units (since Big Shiee does not attack) and a motorcycle. It was my method for farming. But with Hyun method I was able to farm up to 80k coins in one single play. Bought the Submarine. My impression: It doesn't flinch which I like. Same for Nokana-meow and the gigants. The only problem is that being so huge it takes all the heat, dying soon (same happens with Mars brain). It throws 4 electric balls from behind. It takes ages to reach front and attack somebody. Doesn't explode so attack a single unit. The melee attack is three huge missiles. For some reason I never saw them in PvP. The special on the other hand is great. Reminds me Parachute Truck. I thought it would be a great way to counter Keesi II. I was able to win many duels using that strategy but it's counter productive since it takes ages to build a new Submarine and to advance since the unit moves slower than a Big Shiee!
New update came out. -A few weak (useless) units, new Keesi and two types of Amadeus for 2.5mi coins each. -1.9mi coins as a bonus. -A new relief bonus; It increases bonus coins for a stage. -More boring missions.
