Some of the time it's not hackers. I remember once I was involved in a 2v2 online game, and what happened was my units automatically began sending themselves out. I mean my purple J King went out as soon as the game started without me tapping him or anything like that. How did I know it was my Purple J King and not my partners? Because I was able to see the blue glow and tap it when his special attack was ready. Keep in mind the game has a few bugs and it's not always hacker-related.
So 1.37 has a new mode where the enemy base is invulnerable, and you simply have to survive against what it sends out for a given period of time. As you go, some enemies drop "coins". These can be exchanged for event units, MSP, or for medals (1mill coins for 100 medals is the best exchange, so that's 10k coins per medal). A red Allen ("wrath") and the Sand Marine are available, for one and two million coins respectively. If you didn't get them earlier, Dai-Manji, the blue Hi-do, Morden Di-Cokka and the recent event zombies can also be obtained via coins (meaning the Slug Gigant and the Battle Cats units are the only ones you can't collect in this update, as the Rebel Gigant is available in the store whether you unlocked it in earlier updates or not). It sounds like survival mode may be here to stay, though I don't know if the prize availability will remain the same. The regular unit store has Crablop's legs (which has a single Keesi thruster as its special), a small UFO, and a wall bot thingy.
New Crab Legs looks more like Crap Legs. Horrible AP/HP ratio and his "Keesi attack" is too short. It barely advances. It's a melee attack. As for survival, how are we supposed to survive the last stage? That's a tough Red Sol Dae Rokker and it cost 300 sortie points to play that stage.
Survival Mode seems like a good new change. I would like to try it out... it seems like a fresh change from the recent updates. I'm interested in seeing how my brick wall deck fairs against them. 300 sortie points? Now that is ridiculously expensive.
The extreme cost of the survival stages is probably set up to encourage players to spend medals on sortie point refills, and in turn spend money on medals. The two new units are very expensive and it will take ages to save up enough to get them if you're just waiting for the energy to refill. I think it would be a nice permanent feature but they're calling it an "event" so it's probably temporary. Judging from the mission where you get to use him, the Red Allen seems to be very good. He has high HP, is really fast, and shoots at both ground and air units. I'm actually going to target getting him first before the Sandmarine.
just survive for the full 150 timer countdown. How I did it the first time: since enemy base keeps sending low HP units to swamp you while Sol Dae Rokker will fire your front line, so you have to keep sending units that dashes forward (I use Slug Armor and Iori) or have units that have Short or Normal attack range, so that they stand further away from your base and when Sol Dae Rokker hit with its splash damage it won't hurt your base. A tankable unit with spash damage rocks this map as enemy units are of low hp, and can survive Rokker's splash attacks. Occasionally Sol Dae Rokker will fire its close range attack from its mouth and burn everything in the battlefield up to your base, so you have to quickly spawn units to refill the buffer space in front of your base so that Rokker's next AOE attack won't hit your base. Rokker's mouth attack won't touch your base at all, even if it wipes out all your units up to your base. Green Hazmat soldiers is crucial to me as it can spawn mummies in front as meat tanks for the enemie's low hp soldiers and also Rokker will take it as the frontline and hit it, which buys you more survival time. Not mentioning that it can also spawns quickly for its low AP cost and quick spawning rate seeing that this is the new shortest map in whole MSD for now. Just for your reference I didn't use AP Level max. Just one Repair Base as Relief Supply to repair base in between. This map 4 of Survival Event is also the last stage as what I see. After winning this stage no new map will appear. Hope this helps~
^^ Thanks, got to pass that stage. As for getting medals, the 3rd stage is better (easier). You spend a fortune in sortie points (300 as 4th stage) but I just press the FAST FORWARD and the AUTO button to pass it. I was able to buy the Dai Manji. Don't know how long it will take to buy the Red Allen O'neil (wrath) and the Submarine. As for those units, the impression I had is that Wrath has little HP (maybe it will reach 25k maxed) which is not impressive. As the submarine, when playing the Mission, It didn't seem like a powerful unit. It moves slow like the Big Shiee and his long range attack take ages to reach an enemy. His special looks nice but as I said, I'm not impressed and I'm not in a hurry to buy those units. It will take a lot of time for me to buy one of those units. Some players will able to put a more detailed review. Then I'll see which one to buy.
Maxed out Allen Wrath is 45000 by 900AP, Sand Marine 52500 by 950AP I would say both are very good, but sand marine suffers from huge hitbox and the special is hard to find when there's many units onscreen. I would say if you have Big Shie then skip Sand Marine.
New event area is grindy, but not impossible to get all of the units. I farm 4-4 using hazmat green, white cat, bradley ver. P.m, native bird and any unit that can dash forward (but not necesary). Spam white cats like crazy so they draw fire and let bradley and native do the killing. If you spam cats then those two units take no damage the whole game and can even kill sol dae. The treasure you get is random (usually between 10000 and 60000), so If by the end of the round I have less than 30000 I quit out of the game and restart.
Can you please tell me, what is the trick that you can restart the mission without losing the 300 sortie points?
When the result screen appears after the mission, quit the application. Do not continue beyond the result screen
I prefer to play 4-3 stage and use the AUTO+FAST FORWARD button. I can make between 20.000 to 40.000 coins that way without playing. I play twice and wait my sortie points recharge. Not a hassle at all. Just need time but I'm not in a hurry since I think that Submarine and Wrath are crappy units. Doubt they'll become good enough with a buff. Unless they do the contrary of Parachute Truck.
For that round, yes. When the app relaunches it'll offer you the opportunity to replay the stage from the beginning, without respending your sortie points (and yes, it remembers any bonuses you were using, such as AP Max). The idea is to keep restarting until you get the results you want.
As a side note you can do this trick also for getting POW. Just play the level and if you didn't free any just quit the app and try again. Very helpful for stages that have 9 POW and cost 30 sortie point to enter.
Thank you - I will definitely do this in future. Other times I might just use the radar as I can't be bothered playing it over an over again lol.
@fio.. http:// globalmetalslugdefense.blogspot.com/2015/08/131-how-to-retry-stage.html?m=0 the process theyre talking about, if you have dificulty doing it theres a vid in that link, just an added info
