Universal Metal Slug Defense (by SNK Playmore)

    Guess it's gonna be the first three then, obviously taking in count the Rear's disadvantages. Anyways, thanks for responding.

    My question to all MSD players still remains, which units would you love to see in-game?

    Well, for what it's worth... I've been wanting some more Metal Slug characters, Walter and Tyra in particular. The MS crew are about outnumbered by the KOF crew at this point.

    True that, but I'll be honest, at this point in game, I'd highly doubt they'd be of any use considering any Metal Slug character here has very little health and can be wiped out by about anything.... But that's just me.

    Anyways, I want change my question to players: What would you like to see in a next update? Not just units, maybe a new gamemode? New maps? Anything.

    I'd persnally like to see a huge balance update, that took all the units that are considered bad and buff them so no medals are ever "wasted". That including all light units that get decimated by about anything, maybe reducing their AP cost and buffing their damage or something, I don't know. And the generators of course (that includes the commander), making their production faster and making their units give no AP to the oponent would be nice.
    Also, a co-op mission (with a player/2 players on each side of the map) where you fight the final boss of Metal Slug 5 (in the middle of the map) would be really awesome.

    You're right, and it's pathetic - they might as well call this game "KOF Defense" now. The sad thing is they won't release anymore human fighters as they seem to be concentrated on machines now rather than humans.

    Hmmm... yeah, I came up with this idea, that maybe so the game doesn't become boring after you get S on every single map. That there should be some kind of Daily World, that randomizes everyday. I don't know if that would be possible though.
    But I pictured it something like this:
    First it chooses the Areas and numbers them randomly. Then it chooses random enemies you'll fight in each area and sends them in patterns like usual, of course taking in count their AP cost.
    A vague example:
    Australia is selected as Area 7. The units you'll fight are: Samurai Infantry, Di-Cokka, Slug Armor & Crablops. You start the Level and it starts sending Samurais in bursts of 3 and occasionally a Di-Cokka. Then, as you advance it will release a Slug Armor, and then as you're about to reach the end it releases a Crablops.
    So yeah, something like that would be nice I guess. Hopefully something like that will happen one day.

    You're not missing much; Keesi is playable (for 400 medals), but that's all that's notable.

    I guess you're getting confused by the pictures posted in reply to Metal Slug World's Facebook announcement? This one, for example, is just a mock-up made by some random Korean guy.

    So I decided to swap up my usual deck setups, get myself a Future Bazooka Rebel (and still have enough for the Keesi next update!)and replace my Red Ring Mecha for my Future Di-Cokka.

    Surprisingly enough, I've actually managed to make them work.

    The invaders range of attack has been increased, it now attacks the same distance as the slugnoid and nadia. Normal -> long. Though it still isn't viable as a wifi vs unit in the current meta, unless your going for the 10% HP bonus deck

    It seems like it will be organized in terms of topics.

    This thread we're currently using has everything mixed together, meta, buff/nerfs, complaints, update predictions, deck building, etc.

    Ummm can somebody please tell me what the hell I'm looking at? Why has the game gone from pixelated art, to something that looks like an 8 year old boy doodled???

    I already told you:

    In case things still aren't making sense, SNK has done a crossover deal with Battle Cats. If you were to play Battle Cats, you'd now find Metal Slug units there, too.

    Quick question. I unlocked Rebel Gigant in the shop and can buy it for 500 medals. If I update the game will it stay or disappear. Do I have to buy it before updating?

    I'm assuming the event area will change to cats so I should also s-rank these levels before updating?

    Btw Cats are super weird...
