Interesting. I wonder how the 2 vs 2 NPC game will work. Will it be me + NPC vs 2 NPC? Or me and someone else vs 2 NPC? It's it's me and another human user, we'll most likely win easily.
I really don't know how the game schematics will work in wifi 2v2. Seems they will get rid of it for pvp although not sure. It will be Interesting to see if the selection of players will be as u say! I guess we just gotta wait & see. Now onto the new units big John seems the stationary type, which makes me wonder if the miner will deploy it & if so it has a great risk of being a sucky unit since it can be denied easily & having all that AP just thrown away will deff make players mad. It also seems it has 2 stages like crablops where once uve dealt enough damage to it changes & it probably does more damage or has a different attack! I think this update has the less competitive units but I maybe not! It's too early to tell yet since I have not seen this units in action! Another thing is the daily rewards!! I hope we don't have to pay for them to get them cus that would just make users upset! Hopefully they reconsider some of the features they've added lately & keep it more simple!
Big John's bug Before u spend any of ur hard earned medals on this stationary unit be aware that it has a bug where it shoots rockets backwards & pretty much becomes a big giant wall! It's attack it's pretty fast & continuous but sadly doesn't hit anything! Hopefully SNK patches this up!
No I haven't. I've seen it online & I've also read the comments of several users complaining about the same issue! I'm an iOS user so I don't have the update yet. I still like to research & get as much info on the new upcoming updates so when I get mine I know what to buy & not to. Think of it as like an sneak preview! But still I like to warn others who do have android & help them make wiser purchases!
Lol at hyun putting huge locust and hover vehicle in the commander tier(yes that should be the main heading lol) - hover vehicle is like the 3rd strongest air unit in the game (on a single attack comparison)!! You pair him with any of the mh6 copters and they pirahna kill big shiee and huge hermit in two/one summons respectively. Locust is so versatile its ridiculous - like an air sniper that freely kills other air units(the only dedicated air to air next to slug flier!)and pesky hyakutaros! Although in all fairness the tier heading also states 'hardly ever used' which would also be accurate, normally id have said nothing cuz I constantly rock them in my decks and dont want imitators but damn - outta respect I had to say something lol!
Well it's been forever since I've been here. I actually only came over here since one of my authors told me about this comment and I think needs a bit of justification from my side. Locust and Hover Unit are in the D/F tier since they are easily killed by the Ptolemaic Slug, one of the most common units out there. I take it as an extremely bad sign when an unit gets one to two shotted by a single unit. Huge Locust is also countered easily by the Ring Laser Mecha, another common early game unit. And that's only hitting the surface of the counters on these two units. Also, if you have a problem with some of the tiering, just come over to the blog and tell me about it there, it would be helpful for the both of us
Haha I had a feeling my comment would temporarily bring you from exile (was gonna add that speculation to my last post but edited it ) Truth is theres a few ways to protect both very well now that claw unit is gone (had to retire hover vehicle during the claw unit era)which is why I also personally tiered bat as high cuz one bat can block a PT slug shell(can use Dai manji, mh6 regimental,..damn im saying too much of my secrets!! ) The reward in power is too much,especially in an all air deck which I rock frequently with the new variety thats out there. Im just waiting for future shobu
I just have a winning streak with a player GC name Jpantro, I think because my memory is terrible. He thanked me on GC chat but I couldn't thnk him back because I forgot his GC name. So here I am. I am "Sunday Cinema". that winning streak is the best and, Jpantro, your early game strategy is awesome. I wish we can meet again, whether as ally or opponent. 1v1 NPC fight is strictly for second option, fight all enemy level. I chose close level and the game kept me waiting forever when my connection is horrid. Choose all enemy level and it gave me an NPC. I can't say I enjoy it because not only the NPC deck is randomized but also misused most of the time. Occasionally, I saw terrifying deck with Iori and Daimon with generic unit, but NPC kept feeeding me those generics and send Iori after I kill their base. Yep, AI sucks. Another by product is I met more low level in 1v1 all level mode. I supposed this is a way to lure low level player to play this mode. I start to reminiscene of those day when I met uber player and got thrash badly, except that this time I am that uber player. Recommendation: If you are low level, choosing that option is definitely a risk. Choose close level or grinding point to upgrade all unit to level 30 first. It is a lot less frustrated that way. Say the guy who used to whine a lot back in the days. PS. We need to spread the word about the commander unit. That unit is suicide but I still met a lot of player using it. This has to stop. CEASE. DESIST. TERMINATE. Seriously.
Bat is pretty bad, it's basically useless in so many degrees. If you wanted to cover from PT slug you could have used Invader UFO which is invincible (unless they changed it) when it attacks so it can shield from PT Slug a bit and it'll actually hit something. There's one or two other air units that are invincible when attacking, can't remember which. I haven't testing how much AP each bat gives to the opponent though, but it's difficult to use it offensively or defensively hence a waste of a slot. PT Slug isn't even your only worry, I'm pretty sure you're already familiar with Elephant Slug, Dai-Manji, Hi-do, Iori, Fio/Marco Zombie, Fast moving units in general that dodge MH-6's, Hover Vehicle and such. I've actually watched a few Air unit only Themed decks from Khu on youtube, main idea I've been getting is you need your opponent to summon units for you to kill so you make up for the lost AP (since your units basically fly away after the first few volley/s, with a few units being an exception). Even a Sandbag can stop you from gaining AP. That said, an Air deck is pretty fun, and that's the most important thing in the game, having fun xP.
Ive found ways to deal with all those anti-air-deck problems by alternating the unit used in the deck as well as the frequency(knowing when to stop producing a unit), although to date Hi-do is the most threatening. Bat used to be a temporary solution to him(ironically) cuz the bat would hurt Hi-do on their deaths so id summon a squadron of them in anticipation of a Hi-do attack. But now,with Pm shobu I had to replace it. Pm tara & hover unit used to be a good combo because the tara was semi invincible and tanked for the hover unit but hover unit is such an Ap rip-off for the shitty damage it does. Fun fact(another secret I shouldn't give but hey..)I use crablops with ground support and the moment he transforms I switch to all air units cuz no one can touch him . The fun and joys of MSD P.s. To stop the fast moving unit you deploy a Sandbag and when they arrive to group there you destroy them
Does anyone else find that NPC are very good to start off with, they back you in your corner, then as you get your AP up you slowly start overpowering them back to their corner and eventually win? I mean even though I have a 100% record against NPC, they are not easy... they really get in your face most of the time.
I don't know exactly if NPC is a legitimate threat since their deck is randomized. I almost lost a game when they had all cheap and early unit with small map. It killed Leona in a blink and raid half base HP before my karn stabilized the match. However, you will meet NPC only when you choose all level, not close level, AND the game failed to find online opponent. Sometime I chose that mode when my connection failed to match 2v2, but it instantly found 1v1 opponent for me. If you are low level and want to find NPC match, prepare yourself for the possibility of meeting high level player. I am realizing I am turning into Mature salesman or something lately. Crablops' normal and special attack can be block by her special as well. And to think that I rarely saw her in 2v2, I think it is a shame. Seriously. It is very satisfying to see her special block opponent's barrage of bullets, especially in 2v2.
I will never take Leona out of my deck. Her ability to spawn and move fast and with a pretty good special is too much to lose for me, and it's only for the sake of your opponent POSSIBLY having a crablops is not worth dropping her for,

I think Big John. Depends on his production speed though - I have 4 big units in my deck now that take forever to produce which can give my opponents the edge.
I bought big John guys.. The miner deploys him.. But at a really long range so he doesn't get interrupted due to building john at a safe distance.. BEWARE his cool down period is super slow AF so deploy at a good point in the match because he takes ages to be able to be deployed again.. Good support unit.. But normal attack doesn't have spread damage :/ would be cool if he did, throws missile at a pretty good rate and really far.. Special doesn't reach far but its more of a men.. Two big johns are sick because its twice the fast firerate.. Again just a support unit that its golden if you well established in the match.. One time I was about to lose (were being pushed to our base) and I deployed him (timed it right so it wasn't in vain ) he took a hell of damage while we were deploying boss units.. We won.. Must been luck.. I gotta run some test on this unit... But do far I see it as a sandbag on steroids.. Whenever I deploy it it haven't been destroyed.. On my other account I bought the modern bus (I have every rebel soldier pack on that device) lol I spawn a shit load of soldiers plus the ones I own and surprisingly I overwhelmed quite a lot of users lol they don't really expect that kind of firepower
