Honestly.. I dint know.. the iron has penetrating bullets.. And whenever my opponent throws a stone turtle (midgame) I tend to have the firepower with my partner to take it out.. it moves slow and if it doesn't has good firepower supporting his slow advance it will succumb the the enemy thus giving them a ton of ap.. has really low cool down I heard as well.. don't get me wrong.. it is a good wall.. once my base was about to get destroyed and my partner threw one out and we eventually pushed them and won.. but try to pay close attention to it when you fight against it before buying it.. notice what his weakness is.. does my units destroy him fast? Will he be able to protect my units well? How does the other boss units react to the stone turtle.. Pay close attention and see if it applies to your type of gameplay.. last thing you want is spending a ton on a unit you won't end up liking (I sol regret wasting medals on commander,vanguard.. I could have hi do by now if I haven't wasted those medals )
Good... but not as good as TheMetalManu's deck: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?p=3537619#post3537619
If you want a penetrating Stone Turtle attack... use the elephant. It gets everything on the other side of the turtle.
Lol I guess his is way better lol I just love the units lol but to bad I can't run a while ptolemaic deck just yet.. I need the stone turtle and black hound lol Thanks fur your opinion fio
i would say you could still run a no turtle deck in 1.23(im running without one since 1.22), but just be sure your offense is good enough.. like di cokka f/brainbot/metal rear/hido/elephant/rootmars or sol dae rokker in your deck
The first day of the new version, every second has a Dai-Manji in multiplayer. Of course they spent medals for sortie points
Dai Manji is not as good as you might think anyways. I wanted it so bad, but when i got it and tried it out two times i decided not to use it. It gets destroyed really fast and deals just a little bit of dmg.
I disagree with your statement about its damage. I did some testing and here is what I found. Note: All units were at max level (lv.30), location of test was in world 3 (purple world) area 9, stage 1. Dai Manji's normal attack is able to kill all three types of zombies with just one hit! I then compared Jupiter King's attack to which it failed to kill Tarman in one hit. Finally I used Donald Morden to which it also failed to kill Tarman in one hit. The results surprised me. All three units are pretty costly in AP and also have a lot of HP. You would think they would do big damage and they do, but Dai Manji the lowest costing AP unit out of the three did the most damage.
Ok i tried it out again because of you. All of my units were lvl 30. I played green world 6-4 (the map with big shiee). I just look at big shees hp when a unit attacks and is the only unit of mine on the battlefield. You are right that jupiter king doesnt do that much dmg. But its a very old unit (first/second of the game) and i dont like and use him. Donald Morden also didnt do much dmg to big shiee but he is known for its special that hits the enemys base no matter how far it is away. I still prefer metal rear and hi-do over dai-manji as they stay behind tankier. (I saw hi-do also doesnt deal that much dmg but i have the feeling it just has to be a part of my deck). Now the biggest problem about dai manji is how close it has to get to the enemys troops to attack them. It has a decend miving speed and is a very big unit. So all enemy fire hits it and it gets destroyed veeery quicklyTgehe few times i tried it out at wifi it wasnt even able to attack at all and i didnt even sent it out end but mid game. Thats why it disappointed me so much. I also was totally hyped when i heard you can get it without using your medals. Then i tried it out and in wifi it absolutely did not fulfill expetctation.
I must be and whiny lately since I can't beat the event boss lately. The alien swarm get to my first everytime. I am going to use the item or medal to beat it now. Sol Dae Rokker is a game changer for me since its normal attack wipe all of my Iron ISO/Hyakutaro/Patrol Bot in one hit. Actually Rootsmar can already do that, but each player get ONE Rootsmar. Now they have Sol too and that combo is my bane. Nothing behind Stone Turtle is safe now. New SNK unit still failed to impress me though. I met them occasionally, but none of them make the impact I had felt when I met Iori/Mature/Daimon/ or Benimaru. Also, where are all Mature which I met regularly in the last patch? She is still effective for me and still give me trouble when I met her against my team. But lately, I rarely see her. And I also saw someone clearly hacked the game. Metal Rear as first unit in 2v2 game, yeah. Right. I also meet Ring Mecha more frequently. I suppose most player read comments in this forum a lot, right?
I chose those three because I knew what the results were for Metal Rear and Brain Robot (Boss units for this test). Metal Rear is also really strong in damage and for its low AP and high HP (for me that is) I had it in my deck. Something I noticed, its been nerfed in this update, in the area if production speed. It used to have the exact same production speed as both the Shoe and Karn but now takes longer for it to be used again. Before I would have at least three Metal Rears on the battlefield. It was my favorite unit to use but now when ever I had it in my deck it didn't seem to do much on the battelfield due to its giant size which easily gets it destroyed. Fun Fact: Metal Rear's close range attack is able to hit air units! You're right about Dai Manji. Its downside is that it shoots super slow and is huge which makes it soak up most of the attacks with it being upfront in the battlefield.
Yeah but u won't get the bonus points that u do when u complete the stage! Those yellow/gold envelops that fall when u hit certain part of the stage! But still pretty good way to collect MSD points without the hassle! Much more convenient! In another note I must say DAI MANJI is a decent unit but I don't think it's good for today's meta! Sol Dae Rokker has deff changed it again & adjusting the deck is a must! Still trying to figure out buffs & nerfs! I feel they could've added better units for this 1st anniversary but I mean getting 15 medals daily for 10+ days is cool w me! But that Mars pocket unit is as effective as eating cereal w a plastic knife!
Raid is great thing, now you can get 924,000 MSD every day for 30 seconds, before that I used auto-play, but it takes much more time, but with bonuses, including MSD, sortie points.
Is it at all possible to go past 690 AP for your base? These new stages use too much AP (70 in some cases) and the game time gets used up pretty quickly. That's so annoying
