Why? If you're gonna play like you did before in the niconico video, it's no surprise you got burned easily. You're playing too greedy and I'm not surprised, as I've seen greedy players get burned everytime. Think Commander was helping you win games? It doesn't help, the Di-Cokka Ver.F does a much better job. If you adamantly think the Commander was helping you, be my guest, I tell you you're gonna have a bad tim without the proper shielding. I even gave you an option to run Commander reliably. You have a Kyo for a reason, it's there to stick in the battle as long as possible with his special, get that early AP advantage. If you really spam stuff with no timing, you're going to lose to players that have a worse deck than you that has their timing correct. You want to upgrade AP twice, send a Kyo or Goro, depending on the situation. I can't explain every tidbit of strategy and timings, that's up to you to find out.

OK, fair enough. Like many players in the current metagame, though, I run a deck with virtually no mid-game units, just a bunch of spammable low-end stuff like LV and Slugnoid to break rushes and then a bunch of heavy bosses. Di-Cokka F is my only mid-game unit, so I tend to think of it as a starter, even if it isn't.

That is certainly true of Patrol Bots, but Hyakutaro is such a spammable unit, and Rootmars' special has such a long cooldown time, that you can in my experience pretty easily replenish your stack of them between firings.

Currently, I play mostly 2v2 and do ok with a good partner (but some partners.....smh). In pvp, I don't do so hot on my own.
In pvp, my deck consists of:

iori----used to be elite Arabian soldier
lv armor/ sometimes swaps with bazooka (winter rebel) or mortar (rebel)
girida/ sometimes swap with di cokka or sarubia
mortar (winter rebel)/ sometimes swaps with mortar (rebel)
flying melty honey----originally regular melty honey
    shoe
    karn
    hi do
    Donald morden
    Jupiter king

Basically, an all rebel deck (for theme and bonus).
Right now, I'm contemplating whether or not to get future rebel units. Do they make good early-mid game units? They are expensive, but if they're good, I'll get them.

Btw, do you experienced this regularly: the game doesn't connect with other players even though it says it's searching for players. I literally forgot about the game bc it took so long (and I was multitasking), and when I returned to it a while later, it was still searching.

That is exactly what I do with kyo haha. He is really underused. If its a normal to longer ranged map I also hit the ap twice and then send kyo. When you send kyo, make sure to time his special correctly. His special gives him invincibility frames and has crazy damage!( great against bikers, iori, leona, benjamin etc). I really hope people stick with Iori and other rush units because they get owned when I send out my kyo lol.

Hmm so I am assuming you want to stick to a rebel deck? I know people are going to disagree with me, but I am not a big fan of Jupiter King anymore. The new 900 AP units are way better in their respective roles. Your deck looks decent and shouldn't be struggling so much. Interestingly, I used to use a rebel deck similar to that. Are you losing in close range matches or longer ones?

No offense, but are you type of player that spams Iori right away in the beginning? I ask because that strategy doesn't really work well anymore, unless your partner sends Iori too. Iori has a quick walk speed and that is also a curse. Alot of times, the first Iori just rushes in to attack a unit by himself and will get destroyed by units that have range. If you have medals, I would try rebel zombie. They are really good, but you need to have timing and patience to use them. Hyun made a good guide about the rebel zombies.

    Thanks for the advice!
Where can I find the guide? I've been avoiding suicide units bc I think they give ap to opponents (not sure though). If they do, is it a very low amount of ap (not sure how that works)?
What about future rebel units? Would they make a good addition to my rebel deck?

Yeah, I do send iori first more often than not. Should I send girida or lv armor first? Yeah, strategy is most likely the reason for most of my losses. Ik that in order to counter hyukataro effectively, I need to prevent them from stacking. The lv armor helps with that, but the girida's range prevents it from doing that well. Hmmmm.....

What should I replace Jupiter King with?? Iron nokanas are the only rebel boss units that are not in my deck.

That doesn't matter? 1v1 Jupiter loses to both units.

You know. Rootmars had already made Hyakutaro and Patrol Bot obsolete late game. Stone Turtle just made it worst since you actually need Hyakutaro to kill the turtle and Patrol Bot's to kill unit behind the turtle.

I also noticed that Nadia is a lot faster than I remember. She activates special and throw molotov at my Hyakutaro faster. Is she get a buff?

    Current Team
    - Hyakutaro
    - LV Armor = I may need to replace this unit soon. Its only purpose is to snipe Hyakutaro late game. He can't even survive mid-game nowaday.
    - Mature = Her special cooldown is a lot slower, but still the goddess of my current team.
    - Iron ISO = I decided to use this unit since it kills Hyakutaro in one hit and penetrates Stone Turtle.
    - Patrol Bot = My recent purchase. It didn't improve my win-loss ratio, but did increase bonus point.
    - Shoe
    - Elephant Slug
    - Di-Kokka Ver F
    - Hi-Do
    - Metal Rear = I replace Donald Morden with this unit because I need late game unit to kill Stone Turtle more effectively.

    Eyes on
    - Leona

    Current Medal = 85

the secret of learning the art of msd! so listen you noobs(sarcasm :) )

ok there are many kinds of players and ill list some
1.fun type player, one who enjoys the game wether or not hes winning or loosing
2.casual type player, one who plays the game in occasions, takes its time..
3.hard core players, who plays msd whenever possible, wherever possible..

choose what type of player are you..because itll define your ability to absorb all about msd.. #3 is the fastest and #1 is the slowest..

tips #1.. know the meta game(this is the basic of the basics)(meta is the mechanics of the game).. this is the hardest part and one of the most ignored aspect.. example, how do units react? its range? skills? msa deployment? ap upgrade? synergies with other units, what unit is effective on what unit etc.. meta changes every new update because of new units, nerfed and buffed so its hard to fully grasp it.. and this takes time and effort..and lots of wins and losses.. once you understand atleast 50-60% of the meta youll know whats going on and whats wrong in your deck,strategy...

tip#2.. once you covered the mechanics, unit familiarization..is deck building..building a deck isnt easy..
hey ,theres a new cool unit in the shop ..ill add it in my deck(the most common mistake people.make)..build a deck that revolves on an aspect of the game.. like lets say rush, use units that specializes on that..
building a stall type deck, use goro, sandbag etc and try to go on late games..
focusing on what youll do will greatly add to your chances of winning instead of filling up units that has no proper use or role in your deck.. this is important
how will you know what units blend well with each other? thru tips#1..

tip#3.. really, experience is the best teacher.. i had lets say the worst loss record in my clan(due to constant experimenting on pvp) but on building decks and info i got mostly the advantage.. watch some updated plays on youtube(some players record their plays)..watch how units react, their executions on skills, timing etc.. youll also see what units do and their pros and cons, and what gameplay fits in your style..

ok bros sorry for being aggresive here, but these are the things i found lacking in the forums nowadays.. i dont mean to offend anyone, just speaking my mind here.. even me im learning new everyday :)

For some reason I thought rebel zombie was part of the rebel group, but its actually alien type (which makes sense since its a zombie)so you cant use it for a rebel deck. Winter bazooka and winter mortar are good early units;however, they haven't really stood out in 2v2 lately. I feel like the mortars get killed fast and die way before cooldown is up. The decision of replacing Jupiter King depends on what type of matches you lose the most. If you lose more in early stages, then replace it with a lower ap unit that can be used in the beginning.

As for the future rebel units, I have seen future shielded soldier used really well. I think you should try delaying Iori from being sent in the very beginning. Try to send Iori after you have spawned other units so he has support from ranged units when he reaches the front line.

Interestingly, I have seen alot of MH-6s in online matches. Did this unit receive any changes? They are pretty good for 90 ap if you don't allow enemy Iori to get close and use the special. Enemies don't always spawn early units that can attack air units. I don't have this unit, but Mh-6s seem like a pretty good support for a rebel deck in early game.

It seems like it could right? Low ap really fast speed, somewhat ok hp, but its attack speed and damage is what makes it fall form being great. Its special is able hit units right infront of it but is also charges foward usaully infront of all the other units you would send out, it also flinches like crazy. Its not really a good unit
