Hey, don't sweat it, I know you wouldn't bail on me after just 2 games on purpose, figured you had a connection problem or something. Yeah, the opener with SF Rider with either Mortar or LV Armor I found out was a great way to shut down early Iori, Slugnoid, Leona, and Hyakutaro. Sometimes you might go overkill if you send two SF Riders into the Slugnoid, and it was better for my tempo to knock them as cheap as possible. That Augenstern though, it really opened up opportunities for a late game Iori special strike, and that does a lot of damage, particularly to the stacked Brain Robots. Got me convinced after this round of games. Edit: Also Joseph, if you change your username on Google+ does it mess up with your MSD account? I'm guessing not, but just wanting to make sure
my clan bros said you could change names on gmail+ 3 times,on the 4th namechange it'll take 3months to chamge it again.. so far it wouldnt mess with your msd account.. my only problem is that it takes a little time to appear on your game..i think it will sync it first

Guys.. I recently won all of my games (like 17 in a row using camel and ostrich slug) even against iori.. On 2v2 tho.. They do quite some damage with their grenades and with their spamability.. And being able to get to the battlefield quickly helps on your push.. However they do require some screening and some extra firepower..My current deck 1.Slug gunner 2.hyakutaro 3.camel slug 4.ostritch slug 5.lv armor 6.ohumein conga (green) 7.iron nokana Mk ll 8.black hound 9.Ptolemaic slug 10.Jupiter king (although won all the games without ever deploying it cuz that's how fast the match would end) The point is to constant push your opponent back.. Camel and ostrich (80ap each) on the push with their grenades (which has low cool down) hyakutaro and lv armor supporting sniping from the back, slug gunner as a semi shield (also as counter melee if they get to manage to go through the front units.. Basically I used mostly those.. But I ran to a match where one opponent had air units.. Black hound and Ptolemaic slug helped clear the air units as the others work their magic.. I made this deck just for fun and the heck of it.. And it shows promising.. I can tell I have units that could be replaced for better units (ohumein conga,Mk all, Jupiter) but I guess lol make sure you at least bump the slugs to level 25 so they last a bit longer.. Give them a shot lol

I wish they would have kof character like nadia to break power and become saiyan like before executing specials. my gold is nearly 99million. spending them on upgrading useless units to lvl 30...
Last week, I bought Shoe. It is very tanky unit, but it has no immediate effect on my team though. Maybe because I already have Di-Kokka ver F, Sarubia PM, Airborne melty honey, and Elephant Slug sitting doing the same job. Damn! I should have bought Slugnoid, Leona, or collecting more to buy Iori or Daimon. I start to notice that there are Nadia roaming 1v1 and 2v2. Is her special that good? Because she dies to my Hyakutaro so fast. Special Rider is also roaming 2v2. If Iori was not god-tier and used this much, I would remove Hyakutaro from my deck immediately bacause Special Rider will kill Hyakutaro very, very fast unless you activate hadoken first. My Current Team - Hyakutaro - LV Armor - Mature - Di-Kokka Ver F - Airborne Melty Honey - Shoe - Slug Flyer - Metal Rear - Hi-Do - Donald Morden My Current Nemesis - Short Map = I currently have 100% loss rate on tight and short map due to Iori/Leona/Benimaru rush. LV armor and Hyakutaro take too long to charge up special. - Mature = I meet her regularly now, especially in 2v2 where she usually comes in PAIRS. Mature can combo with almost every other rush unit and the most useful unit mid-to-late game with s=her shield. - Hyakutaro = Every opening involve Hyakutaro in some aspect. Although there are numerous counter to him early game, it take precision and speed to kill your opponent's Hyakutaro before he does. This turns early game into chicken game about who with unleash counter unit first. As you can see, my current deck has only ONE counter early game. LV armor. Eyes on - Daimon - Leona - Iori All of them are early rush unit wiht Daimon top the list due to his special seems to be useful in mid-stage. I am scared to buy Iori though because I fear he will be nerfed some time in the future. I am surprised that he wasn't nerfed in the last update. Current Medals Left = 60 I have a question though. Is there a deck viable without Hyakutaro or Iori these days? I meet these two almost every 2v2 game.
I don't use either and still win games, the important thing is don't underestimate regular cheap units, people tend to think you need to buy a expensive unit to defeat or counter another expensive one like Iori, not true, -10 medal bazooka soldier- BAM Iori can't get past 4 of these guys if used correctly. Others I've used effectively: -Biker guy (he can be useless in small map) -parachute + Hyakutaro -zombie (suicide) -drill slug (soooo effective that it seems op, just learn to time it) -mortars (behind tank) -tarman (behind tank) -sarubia (slow them while other unit finishes him) etc, hell yesterday my partner wrecked the enemy team in less than 3 minutes with the gunner unit!
I'de like to know why players are not making the good and understandable complaint how rediculous it is that MSD SNK at least half of the time keeps making units that cost a lot of medals that are weaker or worse than other units that cost way less medals. Even though there is always going to be balancing issues and sometimes units will be nerfed or buffed. Regardless, there is never, never, never a good enough excuse to make units that cost way less medals or free, better than units that cost way more medals! Players need to start stressing that true and good point in the reviews and forums! Also just because units are older is never a valid excuse!
yes there is, that would be the text book definition of pay to win. it's just my guess but i think people love this game and are still playing it as much because its not a blatant p2w game, also the complaining would be way worse just look what happened to dungeon keeper or whatever the name is. morden is one of the best boss units still used by most, and im ok with that, medals are very scarce and by having powerful free or cheap units they are giving everyone a chance to not get slaughtered by players who pay for medals or have more because they've been playing longer.
I get and agree with what you're saying to a certain degree but my point still is a valid argument and if everything you said was completely true then what would even be the point or benefit of using a whole lot of medals to obtain units. That type of logic taken to it's ultimate conclusion, we might as well use the same amount of medals for all units regardless of how good or bad the unit is, but that would be rediculous of course.
some units worth considering im a little busy and the new layout of touch is buggy..so im just gonna do a quick review.. augensterm- is this unit a pure wall? i dont think so, its a combination of a wall/burst dmger(melee)/dps(althou weak)/setter type of unit(not the best in all but fills the roles quite good).. its quite versatile too, the only downside of using it is its a bit hard to master.. my fave combo for this is on early-mid game transition with dps units(but wrong deployment early game means a waste of 450ap,thats huge) late game it losses its usefullness but not alot, a good walling for your rootmars because it rushes forward..enemy hi do spec. will not hit rootM flush and a good combo for iori (gives a chance to do a late game iori special which i call the cross combo(augen specials hooks downward and iori a burst upercut of flame special) slug gunner- to me its a combination of slugnoid and lv armor that evolved whats good on a veryslow prod rate unit with 270 ap.. its a good semi wall/anti melee with verygood dps and support unit..hyakutaro and the others(lv armor/slugnoid)tend to be weak against explosions.. slug gunner once summoned gives you a constant dps/semi walling under unfavorable conditions.. due to recent buffs, its a useful unit now(a must if you uses a pf deck).. donkey slug- the first time i saw it again on 1v1 i said "what the hell, its been debuffed right? why would someone use it.. then when my iori+hyakutaro combo confronted donkey slug i finally realize, the donkeys cannon flew past iori and took out my hyakutaro.. althou im right its still nerfed, if donkey is been partnered up with dps units its quite scary.. the setup my opponent used is slugnoid,lv armor,donkey,hyakutaro, ring laser mecha.. its like a mini pt.slug but provides decent cover..its special skill is useful but stand.attk dmg is virtually nonexisting
devs do it all the time bro, because we people like shiny new things, and collecting them, and they want to keep the game fresh so people keep spending, or at least watching ads. besides when they push lets say 6 new units in one update, nobody knows which ones will be good until they buy them anyways, then you might regret it or not but you already bought them. Happens all the time, at some point I bought DLC for call of duty and battlefield games, and decided it wasn't worth it, but they had my money already
One final thought continued from my last couple of posts is that since all units can be obtained without spending a single cent, the supposed "pay to win" counter argument against what I said is irrelevant. Since that is the case then it really means that some people are just looking for an excuse and in actuality they're really saying, objecting, complaining, and arguing about is they don't want to take the time to do the hard work, grind, and win to win. My complaint is more focused on the fact that many times people like myself who have done the hard work to be rewarded a lot of medals to obtain high cost medal units have nothing to show for it and are wasted and even nerf or debuff units that shouldn't have been or was over nerfed.
