Anyone else notice behavior of slug copter changed? It no longer camps your base but actually goes out and hunts other units. I'm still testing it but at earlier parts of game it is kind of interesting since its damage isn't too bad and isn't as costly as flier, has a very small hit box.

Every unit past the first ten or so shows the name of the most recently released unit. This problem has persisted through several updates.

    Most likely cheating
Vice is absolutely horrid, Ralf is so much better than her. Ralf is still awesome, now that he doesn't get trampled by the MSA.

Donald Morden is beastly, in the S+ range, for several reasons:
    1. He will win stalemate games, and you will be guaranteed to win if you're in a stalemate with someone that doesn't have Morden, it's that important.
    2. He will break through Mortar and Hyakutaro. Trust me, even though Mortars has been nerf, they still do huge damage and have long range. I have multiple games when I won just because my mortars were able to swat defenders, so it's important to clear them if you want to make a good push.
    3. Also helps he's the only unit that will do a guaranteed knockback to units that are able to be knockbacked, (Yes, even he's able to knockback super resistance units like Iori, Karn, Shoe, etc).
    4. Renders any approaching melee units useless.

What I find a bit ironic is you said you want an aggressive deck, but the only real aggressive unit you have is Iori and Ralf. The rest fits in the supportive range of units.
Replace Di-Cokka for Slugnoid. If you want an aggressive deck, Slugnoid is your go to aggressive mech. Will pair up nicely with Iori
Replace SV-001 for Special Force Biker. He two shots an incoming Iori and just does a crazy amount of damage early game. MUST have in an aggressive deck.
Replace Patrol Bot for Hyakutaro . Patrol Bots are for people that want to shield them and make a slow but steady crawl into the enemy base. Hyakutaro on the other hand says Imma get there and start blasting stuff. Much more offensive than Patrol Bot.
Replace Allen for SV-001 Experimental or Airborne Melty Honey. Depends on the choice if you want extra firepower in the back or a great wall.
Replace Metal Rear for Brain Robot. Brain Robot with 40k hp, it's nothing to laugh at. His special is so devastating, it will make it gives you room for your units to advance. Also double overs as a wall.
Lastly, this is my personal opinion, replace Jupiter King for Hi-Do. Hi-Do is the offensive beast, it started off as S+ and hasn't staggered a bit. Amazing special and normal attack, you can't go wrong with this unit.

Um what? You do know Metal Gear and Metal Slug is completely different right? Not even from the same company.
Um, it's still functioning like normal. The Slug Copter only moves when there's another unit leading the charge. Without that unit, it sits still.

Haven't seen that glitch before, but if I make my educated guess, it's probably because you have too many units you haven't bought from the store, if you let that thing stack up it does weird things.

The Metal Rear and Metal Gear bosses from the MG saga in my opinion share a lot of similarities, aside from the name :p that's just my personal opinion that's all I know that they are completely differents and unrelated it's just my impression that they share a lot XD
That's why I bought it but anyway
Really You don't find Jupiter King an aggressive unit? o_O and why remove it?
Any advice instead for some sort of deck like: ok from here You will not pass
Pretty much I suppose that Long range units are good for this purpose right?
Any idea on the Future version of Cokka and Girida? They seems pretty cool honestly

Rootmars slug instead? To me seems not that powerful compared to his price maybe I'm wrong? It costs a lot in terms of AP and Medals

Jupiter King is no way offensive. It plays the supportive role on the battlefield. I think you're falling for the common trick more AP cost equals better unit. Hi-Do is definitely more useful in the offense than Jupiter King, a lot more flexible. Jupiter King is more defensive. You should put Hi-Do in every deck, not the case with Jupiter King.

Good luck making a defensive deck nowaday, it's all about the offense.
A sample defensive deck you could try is:
    1. W.Mortar
    2. Girida-O/LV Armor
    3. Goro Daimon
    4. Mature
    5. Kyo Kusanagi
    6. Patrol Bot
    7. Hi-Do
    8. Jupiter King
    9. Brain Robot
    10. Donald Morden

You should just read my recent tier listing, it tells you a lot of things about the new units.

    J. King is a great offensive unit, however not as a leader. It works well behind other units attacking in front of it - much like the Brain Robot. If these units get attacked, they can't use their own attacks, so they need units in the front of them taking the hits so they can use their moves.

That's what I would call a support unit. Supporting =/= Offensive. I classify my units by three unit types:Offensive, Defensive, Supportive. An offensive unit imo would be something like Iori, Drill Slug, Slugnoid, any unit that gets to the front easily. A defensive would obviously be a wall. A support unit is a type of unit that needs screening from the defensive and is paired with the offense to make a good push.

Thanks Hyun for info on copter. Too bad. I think it's a unit with potential but not enough damage/defense for its cost in current meta. A shame :(

Something kind of weird I'm seeing. Occasionally my opponent is getting a ton of points for only killing a few of my units. Like 3500 points for a loss when I'm getting 2kish. It's not like they're consisrably under ranked either. Is that some kind of hack?

I would probably classify them as a support unit if their attacks weren't so devastating. We should agree though that Morden is an Offensive unit given his carpet bomb.

Please, Donald Morden is a defensive unit with a minor support, he walls and his special is the supporting type. Guess you don't understand my logic since I have no clue understanding yours.

    Forgotten Unit - Preview

Yes, its another ancient v1.0 unit.
Putting aside its toilet-like appearance (as some lame gags have put it), it was once considered as the King of tank/robo-type Slug, eventually got replaced by many better slugs in later updates... and now it has attracted me to give another review for this unit as it is coming back, IMO, in style.

Actually, I noticed that this unit has been buffed since V 1.18.0 (the Iori entrance version), but felt that this unit has been further buffed more silently in this update.

Will give more details in the next post

What does it mean is Hido's description? "When this unit is a fighter, it will be used to send v.i.p.s"... Could someone elaborate on that for me please ? Thanks everyone.

Slug Gunner eh? That thing has been a lot more common like you mentioned. Reminds me to do my underrated unit review on Nadia. That toilet-like appearance is the first time I've heard of that, but now that you mention it, sorta does lol.

It's means that it could fight as well as transport people, particularly very important person. Just as the description says, it's not rocket science.

Forgotten Unit #3 - Slug Gunner

It's a pleasure to see a lot of ancient units coming back on stage in the recent updates (e.g. elephants, giant caterpillar, slugnoid, 100taro, nadia etc.). This time, may I have the honor to share with you my observations on Slug Gunner.

    Key Selling Point:
    - Normal Attack Frequency buffed - now has identical attack frequency as Slugnoid but with 3 more bullets each round, and dmg of that 7 vulcan shots are greater than Pt Slug's cannon by a bit

    - If 1-on-1 against other tank/robo-type slug (e.g. SV001-EXP, Pt Slug, Pt Girdia O, Pt DiCokka, Girdia O-F, Di-Cokka-F, Blackhound and Protogunenr), it will probably win (reference video: showing SG against Giridia F and Di-Cokka F, credit to my MSD bro Blazekiller - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQsUH_dUUvE#t=15):

    - Stronger body (i.e. not as easy to flinch as before tho still not perfect steel body) which is crucial in ensuring its constant normal attack firepower supply

    - If purely looking from firepower dmg and normal attack frequency perspective, it can be considered as the top dog again in the mid-game tank/slug units (those with AP cost around 200 - 400).

Key limitations user should be aware of when using:
    - Prod CD still very slow (1s slower than SV001, 2-4s slower than other slugs abovementioned, only 1s faster than Metal Rear). Considering its standing in the battle frontier, expected this unit to soak up a lot of dmg, and having a slow prod CD may cost you a loss in mid-game. IMO, its a fair deal tho given that it has buffs in other area
    - No anti-air/projectile (as supposed to others like Pt Slug, Protogunner and Blackhound), i.e. can't kill group of 100 taro easily like PtSlug/Protogunner specials, but this point is minor IMO as u can find other ways to accomplish that.

Final Remarks: In the current meta, DPS and firepower is the key/a common theme. For users which prefer high firepower units, while slugnoid/100taro serves as good early unit choice and Metal Rear can provide immense/conclusive firepower support in late game, why not also try adding SG gunner into the deck to fill in the mid-game gap and complete your firepower units deck :) Again, am sure bro Joseph1234 will share with us his second opinion lol

Some stats comparison for your reference (sorry have not bought DiCokka F nor Giridia O-F, hence providing other popular units as comparison)

Hmm, Hyun I like your guides and contributions to the community but sometimes I find your comments to other members quite condescending and belittling.. Maybe you develop slight superiority complex? Just my observations
