Your deck is nearly the same as mine though I only play 1v1.
Girida-O excels LV armor in a sense that it's special helps killing Iori. LV armor's special does splash damages hence good to kill the mortar/Hakutaro pack.
IMO RR.Shobu is not a good pick in 2v2 as it gets shot down much more easily. Changing to Mature is better as the wall does double job in 2v2.
If you want to do better in late-game, W. Bazooka is the card you want to drop as he contributes basically nothing in late-game. Swapping Karn to JKing does very little help.

So this is an experimental deck, definitely volatile deck, please follow with caution. This deck is called the Ramp Deck, it's purpose is to use the nooby mistake of shoving as much boss units in as I can. But there's a catch. It will do so effectively. Here's the deck (4 has three different options)
    1. F. Shielded Rebel
    2. Kyo Kusanagi
    3. Iori Yagami
    4a. Special Biker
    4b. Mature
4c. Other Boss Unit (if you're ballsy)
    5. Karn
    6. Shoe
    7. Hi-Do
    8. Brain Robot
    9. Donald Morden
    10. Jupiter King
The whole purpose is of the Ramp Deck is to use mainly 1~3 to survive whatever and get to late game as quickly as you can. Is it a good deck in the current meta? Hell no. Is it pretty funny? Helly yeah.

First thing before coming to the realm of Wi-Fi battling, you should make sure you freed all POWs and have gotten all the free medals you can from PvE stuff such as beating Worlds and Missions.

If you click on my profile and find my personal tier list (All opinion/observations), it should help out which units you want and which you want to avoid.

I personally haven't spent a single cent, although I kinda regret missing out on the 70% medal discount, but my net worth in MSD has been so far 7163 and thats through around 4k games, so it can be grinding at times.

Getting medals is pretty easy and fair, here are the basic medal getting rules in Wi-Fi
Every 20,000 Experience points (Doesn't matter if you lose or win) you get 3.
Every 5 wins in 2v2 you get 3.

Hey, don't downplay on your plays, you practically halted the Scum Deck multiple times with little to no difficulty, and that's saying a lot, I rarely lost to people with the Scum Deck, only one that repeatedly stopped me cold. Well played bro!

Brain Robot is an absolute walling beast, that thing scares me so much I kinda don't want to run the Scum Deck, as it is ill equipped to face that monster of a wall/damager. Knew I was toast whenever you popped one up. Wished we had a simple chat system for 1v1, although I kinda get why it's not there (Stupid chat line spammers in 2v2), but would be cool.

Am I the only one that seems to notice the Wi-Fi matchmaker is a bit more balanced? I've been getting floods of 1 star + users all day today and rarely into the lower ranked people. Not that I mind, seems like most of the higher ranked users still don't know how to handle the Scum.

    donald morden 950
    elephant slug
    cyborg allen oneil
    ......
i think these three are the cream of the crop freebies today, post your medal count here after finishing/freeing all the pows^worlds and lets see what could you buy(go to hyuns tier listing for more details)

    2v2 match balance didn't improve...
i won same shame match with me and another over 1500 victories against 2 poor less than 100 victories...

Mixing the team would have been a nice match

Review of Forgotten Unit #2 - Elephant Slug

As promised, a review on Elephant Slug. Sorry for a quick and short one as got not much time to prepare – need to prepare for work tomorrow ^^”. Anyway, here it goes:

    Key Selling Point
    - Enhanced Version of Zombie Marco/Clone Fio
    - 3-4 fireballs special attack can ensure demolition of rootmars or anything with less HP, best effect when boss units clustered tgt
    - 1 fireball special attack can ensure knockback/interruption of J-King and other boss unit’s attack, plus demolition of low HP units such as Hyakutaro.
    - Special attack cannot be blocked by Mature’s pseudo-wall (while C-Fio and Z-Marco’s special can be)
    - Can also give average normal attack to support the frontier firepower after releasing special
    - Steel body and High HP (can serve as wall to protect hyakutaro), if used well, can release at least 2 specials before it dies

    Things to note:
    - Mid-to-late game unit (as opposed to Daimon / C-Fio which can be deployed in early-to-mid game)
    - When AP maxed, keep pumping the Elephant out to ensure constant fireball attack supply to knock back enemy’s frontier.
    - Best to combo with Mature (for defense), and Hi-Do (for simultaneous specials)
    - Stack enough firepower unit (e.g. 100taro, slugnoid, girdia-o, lv armor etc.) to fully utilize the Elephant’s wall protection, and space created from fireball special.

    User’s experience:
    - It's a free unit, why not give it a try. Good choice for pips low on medals. Even if you have medals, this unit still very decent.
    - Ask Joseph1234 for second opinion lol!

Stats comparison with Clone Fio and Zombie Marco:
    - V. long range penetrative attack (similar to Zombie Marco / Clone Fio)
    - Special dmg 33% and 12.5% higher than C-Fio and Z-Marco respectively
    - Special recharge time speed 2x and 3x of C-Fio and Z-Marco respectively
    - Normal attack (5 vulcan shots) dmg nearly half as Special dmg (90% higher than C-Fio’s normal attack four bullet shots, surprisingly same dmg as Z-Marco’s normal attack four bullet shots)
    - C-Fio and Z-Marco’s normal attack can be interrupted due to more than double the time it takes to complete a round of 4x bullet shots, as compared to Elephant’s rapid Vulcan shots.
    - Both HP/AP and HP/prod ratios better than C-Fio and Z-Marco
    - Steel body (Z-Marco is MSA blocker but not steel body, C-Fio none)
    - Freebie unit (Z-Marco also free, C-Fio costs 100 medals)

Thanks chigga64 for the update on elephant slug!

Do you guys think the unit is durable enough online? My only doubt is that it only has 10 k health for a 400 ap unit. Il definitely test It in some matches.

Welcome back mate, good to see you back!

It's actually not Spain, but Latin America where this game is super popular. I know Latin America actually has one of the largest normal Metal Slug fans, so it's not surprising to see a lot of them on the game.

Yah i noticed there are many people playing from various countries.

I wish SNK would have an option to send the message "YOU SUCK" to your teammate. I'm getting terrible luck today with noob partners who don't send units at all (at least its better than commander though!). I am sure everyone has had a partner they particularly hate...

Right now I'm starting to question the usefulness of Airborne Melty Honey. It's a good wall, but it's slow and it doesn't have enough DPS for my tastes. Is it even worth it anymore considering we now have Brain Robot?

For testing purposes, I have dropped it and brought back the Shoe/Karn combo:

    1) Girida-O
    2) LV Armor
    3) Sasquatch
    4) SF Rider
    5) Ptolemaic Slug
    6) Karn
    7) Shoe
    8) Hi-Do
    9) Brain Robot
    10) Donald Morden

How much anti-air does one actually need to defeat Hi-Do?

So I was playing a 2v2 game recently, and my partner had only 3 wins. As you can imagine he was sending out very ordinary units and we were getting hammered. Because I have mainly big heavy machinery units, we were able to withstand them for a bit, but still getting pushed back to our line. Then, just as we were about to get destroyed as we got cornered, he released a Rootmar! Then we slowly started forcing them back to their line. In fact the partner managed to release not 1, but 2 Rootmars in the game and we eventually had enough power to win.

I will never doubt another newbie again!

Finally hit the 3 star ranking today! Got it on my 1337th win on 1v1, how fitting. Also, here's my recent deck I'm running besides the scum deck:
Panzer Army Ver.3.0 (Not really a Panzer army now lol)
    1. W.Bazooka
    2. LV Armor
    3. Airborne Melty Honey
    4. Girida-O Ver.P.M
    5. Di-Cokka Ver.P.M
    6. Iori Yagami
    7. Karn
    8. Shoe
    9. Hi-Do
    10. Brain Robot
Replaced Donald Morden as I hope the sheer walling prowess of the B. Robot will be more than enough. Not disappointed.
