Gladly, could you tell me how to do so, I know video is supposedly a new feature, but I can't find it anywhere.

Edit: Ah, its only for iOS, not to Android... Great.. I'll try to find a screen capturing app that's available in Android

This time, I decided to buy Native, maxed him, swapped him with Cyborg Allen, and see what happened. Well, it took 4-5 natives to kill Iori. I killed 3 Iori before he start pumping out Airborne Melty Honey and Metal Rear!!! Wow.

But then I already have Sarubia PM ready and the whole thing collided inchs in front of my base. And then I won with my overcrowded late game deck which Hyun told me.

I supposed that Native is one of the good opening unit he had talked about.

And finally, I met someone who doesn't have Iori in his deck and he is sick as hell at rank 101th. He has hadoken guy and tar man combo for opening and black hound for mid game. I never reach late game though.

    My Current Deck
    - Native (amazing against Iori, but against hadoken guy? Well...)
    - Tar Man
    - Sarubia PM
    - Airborne Melty Honey
    - Flying Slug
    - Normal Allen
    - Elephant Slug (just trying different thing. Honestly, I will replace this unit soon.)
    - Metal Rear
    - Hi-Do
    - Donald Morden

    Swapping Unit
    - Di-Cokka (The only unit in this list I think to be decent)
    - Fat Tarma (I remember his shotgun special on normal version which is amazing)
    - Fat Eri
    - Zombie units (I spent on Zombie pack to get tar man and I stuck with 3 useless zombie unit. Is there any use for these guys)

    Eyes on
    - Patrol Bot
    - Girida PM (I have to start thinking about midgame strategy now since Hyun said that my deck has too many late game unit.)
    - LV Armor (I read the tier list and this one came up high and the AP cost is moderate. Mid game unit?)

    Medal Left - 13

PS. Okay, yesterday I complained that 1v1 close rank kept matching me with <1000th rank guys. So today, the game fixed that by matching me with top 100 player instead. WTF!

Deck looks good. I would replace normal allen with cyborg allen. Get patrol bot first and then lv armor. When you have enough units, I would try to build a rebel deck. The health bonus helps alot.

Does anyone know other units that have knock back effects, like the sarubia?

I was also wondering why at the end of matches sometimes players only get +200 for their final score? Does that mean they disconnected and are the final scores even that accurate? In some quick matches, my teammate barely spawned any units and got a score close to mine after I won the game for us...

200+ score means they d.ced. Full score without sending anything is just a scumbag.

So here a deck I've called the Scum Deck. It has a well balanced early and late game, and this is mainly for 1v1, 2v2 is not recommended, but will do well. Haven't lost a 1v1 game so far with this deck. Why is called the Scum? W.Mortar, Iori, and Patrol Bot all mixed together. The scum is real.
    1. W.Mortar
    2. Girida-O
    3. LV Armor
    4. Airborne Melty Honey
    5. Patrol Bot
    6. Iori
    7. Karn
    8. Shoe
    9. Hi-Do
    10. Donald Morden

This deck is meant to punish the meta, a rushy all melee with patrol bots, it has the early game to stand nearly any early game in any map size thanks to the Giria-O and LV Armor with Mortar support. As much as I put a lot of focus on mid-game, this deck does not require the mid-game (also rebel decks lack the mid-game units), the1~6 units should let you survive until the late game can really kick in.

Hyun that is almost my deck apart of the fact I have no W.Mortar but the W. Bazooka and not the Girida-O but the R.R.Shabou (that since there are not so much hunter walker became again powerfull).

I´m planning to get mature instead of it to see if it still stay relevant in late game... What you think about?

    By the way,

When Iori is in short range attack (he is jumping) he became transparent to W.Bazooka bullets...
    Someone else noticed it?

It is amazing as now I send a Iori against the other Iori followed by some bazooka. They will start jump for long time but my W.Bazooka attack what is behind the opponent Iori keeping the field clean up to when a new Iori come out...

That Girida-O makes the difference, I'll tell you that, an early Girida-O and LV Armor push with the other the early unit will not fall to any early melee rush or any form of rush in matter of fact.
Mature in the Scum deck is actually not that great, this is exactly how you want to run it. You may think ugh its only like 2 units difference from my deck, but that 2 units will make a big difference.

Not to sound cocky, but I'm sure people noticed, he's been out for nearly 2 weeks now.

Hello! I am planning to play Metal Slug Defense, and I'm wondering something: Can I progress far through the game without spending a dime?

Yes, it's possible to get all units without spending a dime, although it would take a lot of time.
You get 3 medals for winning 5 2v2 Wi-Fi matches and another 3 for getting 20,000 experience points.
I haven't spent a dime and have got most of the units, so it's all about being patient and making the correct deck (Which is littered everywhere in this thread)

yeah you can.. just like hyun said..
oh btw..if its possible try to set your time setings atleast 2-3months ago be4 downloading metal slug for sortie points.. if todays march set your phone back to january..
you could just advance the time(1minute is 1 sortie) if you run out of sorties( so you could collect all the pows and head through pvp faster) :)

You can definitely get all the competitive units without spending any money. If you have tapjoy I would play without any hesitation.

Dang it, Hyun is giving away all the secrets about the rebel deck! jk.
In 2v2 I also use a rebel deck. I spawn iori then after a slight delay before a massive spam of the winter bazooka and lv armor. If your good at timing specials, Iori can rip through lots of stuff in the beginning with support. After 2-3 Iori are spawned, I already have the lead and enough for Hi-do. I feel like whoever uses the Hi-do first or can stack a couple of Hi-do pretty much wins the match. Only Airborne Melty honey and Mars Mecha can keep it in check.

On a side note, anyone get really pissed when they see their teammate spawn commanders and feed the opponents ap -_-? I've been getting a lot of dumb partners using them...

Leona got a damage buff on her special, she kills Iori extremely quickly with her special.
I just wish SNK brought back their buff and nerf list, that was extremely helpful for everyone around. The buff and nerf list encouraged players to buy that buffed unit and etc. Nowadays, its just the guessing game and testing constantly.

Seems like the Well Soldiers are your signature units eh? Kinda like Karn and Shoe are mine lol.

Heehee, the Scum Deck is actually heavily based on another guy's deck (5 star, legit), although I replaced his Elite Arabian with the Girida-O and his normal rebel mortar with the W. Mortar and personally like it that way.

Commander, worst unit ever. Whenever I see my teammate with one, I leave, I know the Commander is a ticking time bomb, it forces you race the clock of heavy ap units you will face.

Hi-Do first is not always a good thing, you want a great board possession before. I think I would reword it to "first person to keep their Hi-Do intact after their first special wins". Hi-Do is the sole reason I don't run any Shobus, they get shot down mighty quick by them. Slug Flyer is actually the best counter to them, as their special does devastating amounts of damage and well, Hi-Do gets in front of it when doing his special.

Oh also, as a PSA, users that has a 5 star ranking, but a rather low win count is due to a bug, SNK forgot to program the counting system after 9,999. So after 9,999 wins, you will get resetted to 1 win and etc. Poor chaps.

Hmm I bought the well soldiers recently and wasn't too impressed. Would you mind sharing your strategy joseph1234?

Yeah an official list of buffs and nerfs from snk would be helpful. I really appreciate how everyone is sharing tips on this forum. Btw hyun are you going to continue your guides on units, like the underrated units?

    sure thing bro,
the first 5 units are crucial thou, you just cant put well soldier on a deck and expect miracles... some units blend well with well soldier and ill teach how..

rebel deck setup(this is my core btw)(i added well soldier just to change things up)
1.girida-o(this one is a god send, possibly the best cheapest opener unit in the game.. has steel body(msa blocker),decent damage(can kill tarman in 3-4shots), has huge hp (3500) for a 70ap unit(add the 10% if youre on a rebel deck). practically most setup is successful because of this unit
2.lv armor(or any backup unit for girida-o,preffered with high dmg) (girida -o and lv armor combo is really good.. if youre skilled enough and on mid size map, any single iori rush can be stopped.. but one of them,or both(if youre not skilled) will be dead).. then send your own iori for a counter(if you have)
3.either send out a wall unit(airborne melty) or place well soldier near base..
stack 2or3 well S in the same spot then concentrate on other units(well S must not be priority)
    ..
    the idea is stall..
1.send girida o and a backup unit(who can block msa) to create space for well soldier.
2.i stack 2 or 3(depends) wells near base for backup support, if enemy army is near, blast them on long distance with wells special.. move forward, then repeat again till you reach enemy base.

my explanation is kind of broad, sorry about that.. but generaly thats the idea;)

this strategy works better on 2v2,mid to long maps(because your partner can provide backup for your setup).. its competitive on 1v1 but its easily red by strong players so watch out

Really? Just Regular army? That's odd... Wished it went to the Martian side, alongside the Brain Robot, then I would say a Martian deck is viable.
