Does anyone know how to fix the issue with sortie points not regenerating after changing date and time settings?
Yikes. For some reason I always had to push the date further and further each time I wanted to replenish the sortie points. Last date reached was 2038. I hope you aren't right.
haha unfortunately emuchu is ryt. too much change of time bro. i think you better uninstall it and reinstall it back. unless you want to wait till 2038 lol
caterpillar for me is no good. just 3 hits from jupiter king's laser and its dead. samurai tank is not that powerful but its fast and you just need 80 ap to pull it out. i think for this game the fast is more furious haha
Trevor by himself is the entire early game. It's all you can do to throw in damage sponges so that your Trevor can win. I don't like Nadia. She occupies the same niche of "mobile 90AP rider" as Camel and Ostrich, but you have to use 1 Special just to summon the mount. She has two issues: first, that's she often gets to the front before her mount and dies, and second, even mounted, she usually dies before getting her Molotov special out, which was the reason I bought her. So she's only helpful when you're deep into enemy territory, and by then you're already winning. The Giant Caterpillar seems to be the premier mid-range wall for Giant Ramp Decks. They're good in mid-game when your opponent rushes with Trevor, as when it does it's special, it blocks Trevors and Slug Rush attacks. It's cheap for the amount of HP it has. That's really it. It sponges hits so your Trevor can beat their's. Unfortunately, Trevor wrecks it so hard that it can't even attack. Some people like to pump out units at mid-range to try to overwhelm other ramp decks, so they pump out all three SV-001 units as well as Slug Gunner. It has a lower AP requirement as Giant Ramp Decks, so they play like a ramp deck against rushers and play like a rusher against rampers.
for me he is like mini allen oneil. well actually 1 trevor can stand against allen oneil. 2 trevors can kill 1 allen oneil. this what ive noticed so far
I think for the first 20000 points you earn 10 medals, for 40000 you get 8 and then you get 3 for every next 20000 points.
Emuchu thanks alot for answering all my questions. I was thinking to buy Nadia, because someone i played against in wifi used her and she seemed to have the same knockback efect as Trevor has. Also do you think it would be smart to exchange Camel with Clark and Sandbag with Samurai Tank if i have the following deck: Trevor Camel Ostrich Zombie Marco SV-001 Shoe Elephant Allen Morden Sandbag
I ended up buying Nadia and ultimately regret it. Her range actually decreases when in her special unit, so she usually ends up getting in front of all your other units...a place you do not want her to be with that severely low HP. She usually dies before you even use her molotov special. I used to use her as a one-of for early game, but quickly kicked her to the curb. Why build a Nadia when Samurai Tanks is better value for 10 AP less with better build speed. Samurai Tanks are also quite useful beyond just early tanking. Their attack is pretty powerful for their cost and can cause early knockback to some units. I've also stolen many games by arching their special shots over units blocking the enemy base. Alex, I've actually been thinking about implementing Clark in my lineup instead of Drill Slug. Pretty much any unit with long range has an advantage in the early game, and sometimes my Drill Slug can't close the distance between him and enemy units before being pushed back. The special also annoys me as it only wastes time if you're not close enough to use it.
Thanks alot for telling me about Nadia Master KChief, because i always thought she was good. So now i can save the 100 medals on her. Yout "arching" technique is pretty interesting. I think I will try it out too. And the Tank isnt even that expensive with 30 medals. And Clark seems to be very powerful not only in early game. I think he is able to do a lot of damage in late game. A good thing about him is that he stays behind the big units.
This means that I have to start from scratch since the save game data is still part of the game and not saved in the cloud?
Hi internet people I came here looking for an answer about those players that can duplicate their units everytime they buy one. I don't know if you've seen them but every unit they buy comes out twice instantly. I wanted to know if it was a bug or an exploit or what. Anyway, I kept on reading and I wanted to share my current Aggro/Rush deck and how I got to build it and how good it is, even if it has only 8 units (2 slots free) Just 2 AP ugrades and go nuts. 1. Empty (Had Arabian fighter just to spam them at close spawns but meh) 2. Di Cokka (essential) 3. Fat Zombie (tanks and good dmg, really cheap, very fast p.) 4. Samurai Tanks (replaced Mars ppl, who cost the same but died quickly) 5. Tar Man (tanks and good dmg, really cheap) 6. Snail (replaced Hopper as it's only good at the beginning basically a dmg absorber while the trifecta above shells dmg) 7. Iron Iso (risky but worth it, perfect for where stalemates occur, does awesome damage to ALL units just be careful to activate it behind your troops otherwise say goodbye to 200 AP) 8. Zombie Marco (you need marco, I spawn him after or at the same time of my first MSA) 9. Elephant (Replaced Allen O' Neill , Often in doesn't even come into battle but good AP to HP ratio) 10. Empty Advantages Some of the Units I see often and personally used at the beginning but fall quickly now: Sandbags, as they disintegrate to the first wave of Di Cokka Samurai Tank and Fat Zombie. Camels+Di Cokka , knockback from Samurai Tanks make them worthless (that's why I got them) Trevor Its actually a very op unit since it causes ####ing knockback from 2 shots, hate him but probably will have to buy him to fill one of my empty slots. Morden Its shit. Expensive shit. Weaknesses: This is a rush aggro build. If you let them get Jupiter King or more than 4 AP ugrades, you done goofed. Trevor, you have to hit him hard and kill him quickly. Deck relies a lot on activating the special abilities at key moments. Micro intensive. Mirror Decks, pretty fun but hard
what stages have you completed so far bro? actually i did change my fon time as well to accumulate sortie points. but what i did was i adjust the time from arnd 11pm to say 4am. so its arnd 300 sortie pnts considering 1 sortie is equal to 1 min. anyway, its just like borrowing the sortie points accumulated while you are sleeping =). u wont be able to use them anyway unless you dont sleep. but in your case i guess you are changing the year? anyway, since youve done that already maybe you can just continue until you complete all the stages. or if you are decided then you can just reinstall it. but if let say new maps will be available again then your fon need to time travel again to gain sortie points
i regret what i have said about caterpillar. he is indeed useful. i havent try it myself but most of the players i played with today are using caterpillar and i noticed that its somehow preventing my units to move forward evrytime the caterpillar do its special. its like its blocking my units. so your opponent will end up shooting u just beside your base. i think its good to tandem with the elephant coz of its flame thrower kinda push the units backwards.
Hi, I've been reading the thread for a while, but I just registered to finally be able to talk about the game. I also find the new units great. I'm enjoying the two samurai units, especially the tank, and I've successfully done rushes with them on boss-hogging players. It's a sweet sweet feeling to overwhelm them early. With the rewarded medals from the update I got Nadia, but she didn't seem to help me much. I felt cheated, I wish I had gotten Trevor, he's crazy powerful with those two machine guns + back jump. He's decimating my samurai rush. Also, I find playing against the caterpillar very intimidating. Its special makes it difficult to see what's going on, and it seems it can take a lot of damage while decimating my pile of units. I'm using the snail too, very useful as a damage sponge. MSP money - I find them useless after I upgraded everything to max. And I don't get the price of buying 'em - 10000 MSP in exchange for 40 medals, that's blood-sucking! It'd work only for people just starting the game, who've paid a load of real money for medals. Medals are a money machine for sure - seems like you need to spend quite a few real bucks to be able to compete in multiplayer. As soon as the expensive units start popping up, I'm done for. I feel like I need to get Trevor, Caterpillar, and Jupiter King to be competitive, lol, but I'd have to spend at least a month of wifi play to collect the needed medals. And they seem to expensive to buy in the needed quantity. My current deck consists of Samurai infantry, Sarubia, Snail, Samurai Tank, Sandbag, SV-001 Experimental (I like it for the range. It's even cheaper and sturdier than the normal one. Plus, after the update they fixed its special to reach the whole range, before that it went only a short distance. Same was with Allen O'Neil), Metal Claw, Zombie Marco, Allen O'Neil, Donald Morgen. I don't seem to have any luck with Morgen, he gets destroyed quickly, and sometimes I'm not even able to get one of his special in. Maybe I should exchange him with something else. I also didn't feel content with the Elephant, I was using it as a long-range attempt at Jupiter King, but still died quickly and didn't seem to do enough damage even with the special (which is also slow to activate, if it manages to survive to that point). I've also had a few times the issue of depleting base HP without it being attacked. But I also had an instance when my base HP happened to be invincible. I was overwhelmed, but since the HP didn't fall, I won with timeout. I don't know why it happened, I'd like to think it was a cheater's tool turning against them, but it could've been just a bug.
