Look at the beginning of this thread page, me and anistoona had talk about Helium app to backup your game data files "Someone told me to use "helium" that save the backup files in sd card in the folder "carbon". It does the backup (you'll find more or less 57 MB file of MSD in that folder)" And "I agree with Fra, I am backing this game up with helium, without a need to root your device"
Hi bros, another long-winded post after 3 months lol OK, its been 3 months since my last post (actually been semi-retired from this game since 5 months ago lol) and its good to be back ! Good to see that there are some bros out here giving detail descriptions, pros/cons of each units and I strongly believe these are especially useful to the newcomers (wish there was this sort of thing when I started playing)! However, I believe that according to each user's strats and exp, even some unrated units can become a key component to a terrifying deck formation. For example, I recently encountered two deck formation which caught a surprise to me) First of all my deck FYR, its not invincible but does the job well and give me a 15:1 1v1 win:lose ratio, and its a boring deck. - W. Mortar - Hunter Walker - Tar Man - Girdia-O - Airbone Honey - P. bot - Mars Mecha - S. Flyer - Hi Do - D. Morden Without surprse, most of the time my deck plays defense strats, relying on Mars Mecha amazing AP/HP ratio in the early game to protect my premature forces. Opponent 1's deck (against a 5-star guy with 9600+ 1v1 win): - SF Rider - Hunter Walker - MH-6s - Reg. MH-6s - Dangling Snail - Flying Tara VPM - R Shobus - RR Shobus - S. Flyer - Hi Do Idea is simple but powerful: all aerial units attack. whats the big deal? without any enemy's ground unit, most (if not all) of my troops would not be able to initate an attack, let alone of attacking towards the aerial units. Whereas, the enemy's aerials unit can. leading to huge AP loss. Because of the numerous aerials units, not even my S. Flyer could really sweep down its R shobus and RR shobus. At the end, even my strong defense wall got slowly deterioated by the continuous air attack and sf riders bombardment. It is an interesting deck indeed. Unfortuntaely that guy quitted after me beating him in a short map during a rush (the weakness of this deck) and score retains at 1-1. Opponent 2's deck (against a 1-star guy) - SANDBAG - Leona - Mortar - W Mortar - SF Rider - Elite Arab Literally thats all for his deck. Clearly a rush deck, but a effective and surprising one. Got beaten both in short and long map. Idea: Destroy opponent before 1st MSA Strats: After 1 or 2 AP upgrade (depend on map length), send sandbag, then leona, then both mortars, then SF rider Effect: my early unit's attack got absorbed by the sandbag, then got severly injured by Leona spc, then finished off by 2 mortar's attack, by the time you managed to call out another tar man, the sf rider has already arrived to crush/knockdown your newly produced units, leaving leona and mortar enough time to crush your base. If you deck does not have much early units with low AP and high HP (or fast prod speed), then it is very hard to sustain/defend this oppoenent's first cycle of attack. Actually, I have encountered this sort of deck twice (with sandbag the key!) and mostly have had a very hard time playing against them. Again, this deck probably is not invincible, but surely an interesting (and very effiect deck, consider the time used to win a game). Bravo to whoever first thought of this sandbag strats! OK, since I probably wont post another one in a short while. Let me share a little bit more: Check this vid out if you have not already seen it. http://youtu.be/5CiYP15NUG4 A hacker demo how to call out kessi, kof units (including Iori, which have not come out yet) using hacking program modifying the MSD data files. By the way, I despise hacker but nonetheless find this vid insightful re speculation on possible upcoming new units. Notice the ID number he typed to call out each unit Kessi- 191 Kyo - 196 Ben - 197 Daimon - 198 Iori - 202 Makes me speculate that Kessi has actually been made (and deployed to the MSD database) even before the KOF Japan team but clearly have not rollout for public use yet for some reasons. Also, Iori may be coming up soon (wondering what ID 199, 200, 201 would be???) Another topic, about WiFi match point calculation: Someone asked that before, and I am interested to know too. Some gamemaster in the other Chinese forum suggest the following formula which makes sense to me per my own observation: Win = 1,000 + [Remaining game time] x10 + [Destroyed enemy's units AP]/10 Lose = 200 + [Destroyed enemy's units AP]/10 For example, killing a mortar would give you 4 points. Anyway, just some food for thoughts Peace
I met that kind of decks few times, it is indeed a killer deck, especially for me coz I am relaying heavily on mortals and tanking units, I ended up watching my units and my base destroyed with nothing that I can do By the way, thanks for the info about WiFi matches score formula, that was a nice tip
Thanks for tips regarding backing up the data with Helium, but I can't seem to get my laptop to recognize helium running on my S5... The score formula is interesting. In longer games, its obvious we usually get get more points. The base at 1,000 points seems reasonable. In all my winning games. I get at least 2,500 or way more if my partner is useless. Do you think rank also influences the score at the end?
Hey welcome back, been wondering what happened! As for your speculation on Keesi, we've been seeing the Keesi for about a month and halfish by now, while the KOF units where only spotted 2 weeks ago. So yeah, we knew about the Keesi for about a month before the KOF units were actually there. You could check your own data files, and Keesi should be under Jet02_s.mdsf. And for the score, it is determined by how much "destruction" you cause to the opponent's units. How many points thats beyond me, and that Chinese gamer formula doesn't exactly why I sometimes get more points when I lose. Also, here maybe bad news. Sorry if the picture is huge, its bad quality had to zoom in Adelheid Bernstein, Omega Rugal, Igniz, Magaki, Clone Zero, Original Zero, Mukai. SNK Boss Syndrome, with what it seems like less than 200 AP. Now this picture is blurry and that usually causes me to believe them. Although my only problem with this picture is the fact Allen O'Neil is 450 AP, his original AP cost when he first came out. So is this picture recent or ancient? Guess time will tell when we see hackers with these units. If one positive thing comes out of hackers is the first we can see these units in action.
How? You must switch your phone usb settings from MTP to the other, just click on the usb icon in the notification menu and then change it. Than activate the usb debug option. The first time helium app does ask this automatically. In other way, search on Google how to activate "developers options" (I think this is the translation from Italian "opzioni sviluppatore") on samsung S5 and than search in this menu the debug usb option. I also have S5, and helium works pretty well. If this doesn't work, search some guide on internet
Question I apologize if this is posted in the wrong section or anything. Its my first post ! I was wondering if anyone knows which level rewards the most msp upon completion? I know that time factors in as well so im mainly referring to the base level reward.. Ive currently been farming level 9 of the first area on the second map. It rewards me roughly 60-69k after bonuses and all. Any further help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Im also open to any tips on deck composition. Im currently running this setup ⬇️all at max lvl30. Freed all pow's from world 1,2, and am half way done with 3. Im unlocking them in order of importance. 1.w.mortar 2.girada-o (morden) 3.morden robot 4.patrol bot 5.airborn melty 6.black hound 7.rr shobu. 8.vanguard 9.hi-do 10.morden helmet tank looking thingy Thanks again and sorry for double post.
Second (Green) Map Area 6 Stage 4 (Big Shiee Map) 94k without any other msp pick up Don't know how you're getting 60k from what you're saying, unless I'm hitting the wrong area. (Green map central africa no?)
First time I see a hacker. He deployed all the units in the image in a few seconds. That miggy is the hacker, what an idiot. Edit: and why I am in both team? How is it possible?
Peace, brother. Just that I am a bit occupied with various things and not much time to write stuff. But I have been checking out the forum every now and then. Good job on your MSD unit guide and the info about Kessi! TBH, I would rather prefer SNK keep Kessi as an non-wifi usable unit, but now that some hackers have tried using it, as far as i am aware of, everyone is saving up 500+ medals for this, a big time on "financial planning" Interestingly, I tried to verify the formula myself today playing against some weaker players and the final score obtained actually match with my expectation based on the formula. BTW, it is possible that you gets more points when you lose (I experienced that too). It will most likely happen when: 1) The game last till very end stage (i.e. not much remaining game time left); and 2) The opponent's team mainly consist of (and rely on) high AP units, relative to yours. Anyway, its just mere speculation from a gamer, but with some interesting insights. Oh no... hope this is not gonna happen. If they really deploy that many KOF units to MSD, they may as well start another defense tower game - KOFD...
Woooow. Thanks Hyun, for the tip on stage Msp rewards. And yes i was farming the green map central africa (stage9 area4). Its costed me 60 sortie for a payout of a little more than 60k msp. Your suggestion is 60 sortie with a payout of almost 100 k. Big thanks!! Now, any way i can get all that wasted time of my life back?? Haha! Also what is the spaceship thing called that people are using in wifi ? Is thT whats called the keesi?? How do you unlock it or is it hacked only? Its a gnarly unit i tell ya. Id be willing to bet that when/ if it gets released itll probably cost as much as the darn Hi-do. I honestly feel like the Hi-do was so worth it though... Its a sturdy unit. Has anyone seen if one Hi-do can take out a shoe/karn combo? Its about the same to deploy both shoe/karn for every one hi-do.
Keesi if it does come out will most likely be worth it, unless SNK decides to cripple it with a large production time and ap cost. Karn and Shoe will most definitely take out a Hi-Do if they come out together. As for a 300~400 AP drop, Karn and Shoe is (imo) the best and even as a 700 AP drop its one of the best, 25k HP combined is nothing to sneeze at. Also, Karn and Shoe now possesses one of the best knockback resistance, able to resist any Clone Fio and Zombie Marco's Vomit laser, two Saurbia cannon shots, and generally will not be knockbacked easily compared to other boss units. Its ability to knock down Hunter Walkers is plus as well
Ver.1.17 Tier List Change Unit TiersFirst off, I have a question for you guys. This tier list is roughly based on 2v2 and 1v1, but would it help you guys better if I created a tier list for BOTH 1v1 and 2v2? 1v1 and 2v2 do have different unit niches, let me hear your opinion on this Units that moved up (↑) Summary: Not too many moved up, but the ones that moved up is significant Karn & Shoe (S- to S+) No this is not my biased opinion speaking (Ok maybe a little bit). Karn and Shoe emerged like a dark horse, I've been seeing at least one of them now every where. Karn and Shoe are now the go to 350 AP drop, its even good as a single drop (I take back what I said when I said you had to run two, you don't need to now). It can also double with the Karn and Shoe double drop, being an incredible 700AP drop that will seriously punch holes before going down. It extremely versatile, being a heavy damage dealer, support, semi-wall, anti-air, anti-wall, anti-hunter walker. Name one unit that can do all these things, I dare you. Patrol Bot (A to S-) The Patrol Bot is back baby! Ok maybe not really back to its throne of S+, but it's close. There are more than enough wall units to shield these pesky bots more than before and now its not unusual to see them paired with mortars to cover their main weakness, air units. Units that moved down (↓) Summary: N/A Protogunner (S- to A) Ptolemaic Slug does its job better, the Ralf popping out doesn't even do much as well, just handing over free AP. Hunter Walker (S- to A) The emergences of Karn and Shoe has seriously put a damper on the Hunter Walker by a huge amount. I believe people overrated to this unit when it first came out, although it was with good reason. Now that it was out for a month, people are able to deal with it relatively easily.
Just updated my deck: (All maxed stats) 1:w.mortar 2:girada o 3:elite arabian 4atrol bot 5:airborn melty 6: rr-shobu 7:shoe 8:karn 9:hi-do 10:morden helmet tank. (Lmao what do uguys call that thing?) I highly recommend this deck. It benefits from the 10% hp bonus. I only seem to get beat on the smallest levels by the most top notch rush deck players. However, most of the time, the elite arab plus girada-o is enough to overwhelm a good leona rusher. My win loss ratio has gone up significantly with this deck. Im sure its a pretty common setup but im relatively new to this game so i thought to at least put it out there.
its good bro, doing a separate tier list for 1v1 and 2v2 will be helpful.. those 2 has diifferent metagame.. gonna help you out on this one if you like
its good man, itried that out minus the girida o(i use lvl armor).. mordens affiliate bonus has the best units so far.. but watch out for the experienced drill slug users.. they will give you fits
What do you think, can the SNK change specs of units, at any time, regardless of the update? I have noticed that periodically suddenly a certain set of units shall cease to be effective. And by eliminating discovered that one of the units is becoming weaker. And now it seems my assumptions are true. Today I noticed that the Elite Arabian Soldier suddenly ceased to be effective and to me it was difficult to win at least one battle. Looking closely to Elite Arabian Soldier, I noticed that he was dying faster than the time to make his special. And what's more struck by now his constantly knocks back!, which yesterday was not.
No I seriously doubt it, as much as technology as progressed today, SNK shouldn't be able to tamper with units without having to go through Play Store and changing the version number. You're probably just having a bad day, happens with everyone.
That's great, thanks for your offer of help, I'll definitely need some! Wonder if we could get on a chatting site and see if we can discuss there! Chigga, I'm not sure if you're still around again, but I would also like your input on units if you don't mind!
