Everybody is so hyped for keesi but why are we ignoring the benimaru and kyo in the screenshot I would like to see more units from King of fighters in the game.
Me too. I would like to seem more units in general. I think SNK should set up weekly tournaments for prizes. Like if you finish in top 5% in points from wins, etc, get a new character, while others have option to use medals to purchase. And then rest get medals depending on ranking. This would make the game more interesting. The game is still fun, but the weekly tournament would make 2v2 more meaningful.
Not necessarily, but they would have an edge. Unless there is an instant win button, don't they still have to physically wait to connect to a game? They would still have to take time to join games. If you win most of your games and play frequently I am sure people still have a good shot I get what your saying though. The highest priority should be getting rid of the hackers. Its just there's no real competition in the rank matches. A tournament would make it more interesting
Tournaments sounds like a horrible idea, especially with your reward system. If SNK puts in an unit that can only be obtained by that strong player, that's just more power to that already good player. Also, as we found out, hackers are able to get into units that are not even released with ease. So ye, not the brightest idea, think that will be the final nail into the coffin of the game.
I don't think my response was read completely. I mentioned that after like a few days of releasing the character for the top percent, it would be available to public for medals (like how new units are released now) Then I also mentioned later that hackers should be first taken care of... You guys like ranking system the way it is? There is no real goal in 2v2. Yes we win medals, but why not have rankings reset so we can compete weekly? I'm curious to hear what you guys want added to the game (besides the obvious.. getting rid of hackers)
Okay, that makes a lot more sense, sorry about my first misinterpretation. Still might be unfair for the couple of days the top ranking users have it. Also still got that hacker problems, have an unit unreleased be exploited by hackers. Ranking system is fine the way it is for now. It is currently the least exploitable by hackers, but once SNK gets rid of them, maybe. One thing I would like to see is close ranks being able to be paired with other close ranks. Yes, the Close Rank battle choice is there, but let's be honest, who uses that when you can choose All Rank and be chosen with players that you can easily crush? Maybe if there was a medal/point bonus for going into Close Rank would encourage users to actually use Close Rank. Another would be Guild/Alliances. That would be pretty cool, maybe instead of an individual tournament, you could have different users working together to get the most points as possible in the 2 weeks in-between updates. If it existed, we could have a TouchArcade guild! Lastly, Cloud Save. Enough said.
This would be awesome, but there would need to be a system in place so that Guilds/Alliances with a large amount of members don't steamroll the smaller groups.
I think this is the most important thing that SNK developers should do (and the hacker's problem too). Bind the game account with the Google account, for example.
weekly ranking for active player is great. maybe they should have limited sale for certain characters for ridiculous amount of medals not for competitiveness in pvp but just for collection sake.
I hope SNK will put discounts on certain troops every week. Example: week 1- Ptolemaic Girida and ring laser mecha Week 2 - JK and monoeye etc.
Probably never going to happen, only time unit sales happens are during holidays and it has usually to be theme specific. Also I have a feeling some other guide is highly recommending the Commander, to the disadvantage of themselves and their teammates.

Funny enough, there have been knockoffs of my exact deck, too bad they don't know how to find the exact tempo and timing for this deck to really excel.

I think all those ideas are great. It's just the 2v2 is getting a bit monotone. For people that need medals, get as much pow bonus and play 2v2. You gain medals relatively quickly if you can win. Yah way too many commanders. The sad part is that people are not using their brains. I mean they see 2 slug flyers and they still spam the commander. The only times I ever have trouble with the commander is when the enemy had way more units, all my units were destroyed, and the enemies were out spamming us with units.
Well, at least it's better than when Utan, Donkey Slug, Claw Unit, etc etc were rampant. At least there's a lot more deck options (Except for the fact mortars are everywhere) When I see a Commander on my opponent, I know it's an instant win, one wave of Hover units gives me enough to drop Karn/Shoe or Hi-Do, a huge tempo switch. I rarely disconnect, but I flat out disconnect when I see my teammate drop a Commander, it's that bad. Whoever is preaching this unit is good needs to drop the game.
Exactly. The commander gives way too much free points. It's definitely still possible to win, just that the partner needs to stop spamming the commanders. 1 is okay.. it may catch opponent off guard.. It's just too predictable that they spam them. What do you guys Think about metal rear? Is the splash damage good and can it hit air units? I was thinking of subbing out shoe and Karn to mix things up for fun. Besides hi do and Jupiter king, what are some other good big guns or high ap units
Does anyone else think that the 2v2 meta has shifted to favor more defensive players?I feel most aggressive starts can usually be neutralized by a couple tarmen, or a Sarubia PM. If your opponent calls in numerous air units, a slug flyer can quickly turn that into AP. I don't know, might just be me, but ever since taking Leona out of my deck and reacting instead of initiating my win rate has gone up. Anyways, been looking for opinions on Mars Mecha vs. Giant Caterpillar? Caterpillars Spec. Atk seems really good for shielding MSAs and pushing the line, but Mars Mecha beats it out in production speed (very slow vs slow), Movement speed (Slow vs Normal), AP Cost (380 vs 300), and HP (10,250 vs 11,250 at level 25).
