    Thanks for the stats christianM. I mainly wanted the stats to add to the chart but also to see their stats before starting to purchase units. I don't think I'll be using any of them in my aggro build though, although I may consider Allen as a good finisher due to his fast speed and maybe the mars people because of their fast production...that low HP and speed is killing it though. The 80 drop spot is also being heavily contested by the Samurai Tanks.

    How's that aggro build treating you? I'm still a novice as far as competitive deckbuilding goes, and I don't really have a solid plan for when I upgrade my AP production, etc.

    Right now, I'm upgrading AP twice, then Shield Soldier, and then I try to push out mid-range units around the strength of the SV-001 series.

    Just wondering how other players can click on metal slug attack twice as fast as you can recharge yours. Is there a unit on the deck that does that? And sometimes it feels like they have faster ap and yes i am upgrading mine periodically.

    Have you gotten to World-2, yet? It increases the level cap to 20.

    I've always wondered about the Shield Soldier, how good is he? Does he stall better than sandbags for a midrange game?

    As far as the aggro deck goes, it is working remarkably well. Mainly due to the release of one of the new characters in the last update. I've beaten lineups full of primarily boss characters and Jupiter Kings easily. I think SNK may have been listening to the community, because ramp boss decks pretty much don't really stand a chance now. Too much early game tempo is translating into a lot of wins for me currently. Jupiter King really isn't the character to beat, its now one of the new characters. In an effort to curb the decks that do nothing but ramp AP and spam bosses, I believe they have now made the aggro decks way too powerful.

    Which leads me to my next point, as I'm concerned about the mirror matches with opponents using this unit and am looking for possible counters to it. Which units do not knockback/flinch after taking a sustained amount of damage? I read earlier in the thread that Bikers do not knockback, are there any others?

    Also, forgot I need stats for the characters gained from daily rewards as well. I've seen an Ostrich unit and an Elephant unit, not sure if there are more.

    Shield Soldier has significantly lower HP pool than Sandbag, but it has a few things going for it. Firstly, he always progresses to melee range, so he's better than Sandbag when you're actively advancing. Second, his Special makes him impervious to damage, so you can press him against other Specials and Slug Attacks. Otherwise, they still die quickly, especially with only 1,000 HP, and it's a challenge keeping track of them so you can activate them properly, but I like them for mid-range decks, where I tend to out-run my Sandbags.

    EDIT: I wound up subbing in Arabian Fighter for Shield Soldier. Much cheaper, much faster, much stronger, and comparable HP.

    I bet you're talking about Trevor. That guy is NUTS. I dunno what you can use to tank his attacks besides Shield Soldier, but that really only works once or twice in the beginning, before the field gets busy. As for the daily units, I have Ostrich Slug. It's a faster SV Camel with lower damage and HP. I don't have the Elephant, yet. May I ask what your current deck setup is?

    Camel Rider, Samurai Tank, Trevor, Drill Slug, SV-001 Type R. Only listing those because anything past those are irrelevant, the match is usually over before I even make a Type R. My main goal was prioritizing fast movement/production units as well as units that are value costed. Samurai Tank is extreme value because of the huge HP for its cost, as well as being Normal movement and production speed compared to other 80 and higher AP units. Drill Slug is very well placed with its higher than average HP and fast movement speed compared to other units around 160. And I chose the Type R because of its Very Fast speed and higher production rate compared to both of the other SV-001's. Sure it takes a slight hit on some HP and range, but I think its important for higher AP units to catch up to the rest of your army (which is why I can't wait until I unlock Allen). As for the Camel Rider, I was trying to fit in a good value 'cheap' unit that I can spam aggressively throughout the battle. Camel Rider has a super high HP for its cost that is coupled with Fast movement and production speed. However I've found that I rarely ever need a cheap spam unit, as I win most of my games primarily on the backs of Samurai Tank, Trevor, and Drill Slug. This is still being worked on though, as I have a couple other units I have in mind I want to test in this cheap spam slot.

    And yeah, Trevor is Trevor. Completely busted for his low low price of only 100 AP.

    Our decks were actually pretty similar, except that mine had a bunch of extra fluff:
    Arabian Soldier
    Samurai Tank
    Ostrich Slug
    Trevor
    Drill Slug
    Zombie Marco
    SV-001 Type-R
    Slug Gunner
    Allen O'Niel
    Donald Morden

    I'm using Ostrich Slug over Camel because it runs faster, but also for the range. I find that Trevor's main strength, besides his power, is the range at which he starts to fire, so they compliment well. Slug Gunner is there because I didn't like the AP gap between Type-R and Allen, but maybe it would be better to grind AP for Allen. Zombie Marco and Donald are there for their piercing Specials. Sometimes I can pull a win even if they start popping out their big boss units with a Marco Barf attack or a Morden Air Strike to finish off their base HP.

    I'll try trimming my team down, though.

    Try Ohumein-Conga Red/Green if you're looking to bridge between Type R and Allen. He's on my list of units to test out once I buy him. Mars Mecha was also on my list to test out due to his massive HP and Normal movement speed, something you don't find on units at that cost. But then I found out about Allen's Fast speed and that seems it may be worth the extra 50 AP, unless you want the super tanky HP of the Mars Mecha.

    Edit: Is 3 Medals the norm now for every 20,000 points? I think I read earlier in the thread it used to be 10 medals per 20,000, is that true?

    Have you fully leveled it up to level 20 in Home Customization, as well as collecting all POWs related to it in both Worlds?

    Yes done and done. All of it even the free characters. It was weird because last time i had an opponent who had 20+ Abul abas spawning at the same time. Then now im realizing the metal slug. There are also some players that spawns the characters in the game too fast. I noticed this because we spawned the same character almost at the same time. And mine was just at half of the bar before i can spawn it again.

    There might be some cheaters playing and we just dont see it much because nobody paid attention in how fast they spawn their units or the people that saw it don't know about this forum.

    I bet for sure there is...reffering to my previous post i even notice my base hp is decreasing even if im the one who is attacking. It happened to me twice already. Its impossible to remember the name of the player though

    Yeah that happened to me once. Caught me off guard. It seems like the life for my base was switched to my opponents and i was the one dying.

    oh ok so im not alone haha. . anyway its not a big deal for me. coz winning in wifi vs doesnt mean that youll get the medal anyway haha. actually most of my medals came from after i was defeated which is some kind a weird for me. so sometimes losing is better i guess haha

    You need to get certain points accumulated to win a medal. I dont know how much exactly since I never paid attention

    Same here i dont understand the point system. So i just depends on my luck. Sometimes i get nothing out of 10 wifi vs.
    I wish snk will let players purchase units using the money (or is it called msp?)
    Coz i still have arnd 4mil despite maxing out all units and home.
    I also wonder what will b the use ofsortie pts after completing all stages

    So the new update seems to have a lot of units that are pretty powerful.
    I´ve bought Trevor myself and he is really good. Especially in early game.
    I am thinking to buy Nadia too.
    Does somebody know if the Giant Caterpillar is good or not? And i really dont understand why everybody thinks, that the Samurai Tank is powerful. I havent tried him myself but i destroy him pretty quickly in wifi.

    Also does anybody know, why that many people use all the three differnet SV-001 tank in their deck?

    Well I´ve already completed all the stages and released all POWs. After you did that, you cant do anything with the sortie points.

    In wifi mode, you get about 1700 - 2300 point if you win and about 200 - 300 if you loose. Every 20000 points you earned you will be rewarded 3 medals.
