Strange that all of these DotEmu titles are being removed regardless of the publisher... I really hope it's not something to do with licencing, and just a quick 'bugfix' pull - soon to reappear... =o/
I did speak to someone at Dotemu about Raiden before that came out, emailed her to ask about Metal Slug and the others, will let you know if she responds

Yeah, seems like that. I spent hundreds of dollars on apps since 09 and I don't own them entirely ( if they get pulled from the AppStore). Best thing to do is to back up my apps to my computer. Is backing up to iCloud the same?
Are you sure it's it in your purchase history? If a game has been pulled, it will not show up if you search your history, but will still be there if you can scroll down far enough. If its not there, then it's likely to have been removed entirely.
Yeah, could someone check that has a small purchase history? For those of us that have thousands of apps with ios 6, we can't check, so if someone could do us a favor and see if it is there, I would appreciate it.

This is horrible, I don't even want my money back as much as I want to actually play the game. It still makes no sense at all, and this is making me go completely bonkers.
Yeah, if they don't respond mon or tues, then I will worry more. Weird coincidence so many of their games, and no reponse. Hopefully they will come back. Has anyone tried pming them?
Both... Once you get into one, you're only gonna want more. But if you have to go with just ONE, I'd say go with MS3
