Opeth's 20th anniversary. Blackwater Park played in it's entirety followed by a second set with never-before-played songs in a gig over 2 hours long. Also VIP tickets for sound check access, a meet n' greet with the band and a ton of highly exclusive merch. It's like someone took a look at me and thought "I'm gonna give that guy everything he's ever wanted". But seriously, if you're into metal but haven't really listened to Opeth, just go anyway... it's gonna be one of those milestone events like Woodstock 69 or the Beatles first US gig that younger generations grow up absolutely gutted they didn't get to see. http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendId=2973509&blogId=520792463
i really like it when bands do full albums live my fav when Melvin's did houdini but this im sure will be just as good!!!
Yeah me too, but I've never been to a gig with a full album before. Always hear about them though, they're nothing short of epic.
Yeah so no one really cared about this, but I do, and I just bought my ticket! £140! (That's $230)! The only downside is my mum has to accompany me to collect my ticket, since I used her credit card for the purchase ...but who cares, I'm gonna make Mikael Akerfeldt sign my face
