Aha, we kind of did that with the Megaframes, where you have to destroy the power nodes to lower the Megaframe shields while enemies are spawning all around you. When we will add new levels we could also add that mode where you have to destroy power nodes to lower the progression barriers. We also want to add a Guardin Rush mode in the future, where you have to complete all the guardin arenas in the game one after another, for ex: first level piece will be Mission 2's guardian arena after that go to a level piece with Mission 4's guardian arena etc.
That's true with the Megaframes, but you aren't trapped inside those, in that there is a pretty significant space to move around. Same concept really, but the Megaframes allow the player to dictate the pace at which they take it apart. The 'Escape' idea would be more pressing. Guardian Rush mode would be AWESOME, simply because I feel that is the most intense aspect of the game. I love the Guardian grenade throwers. They're badass. This is all good stuff. These modes will enhance the single player mode by leaps and bounds.
Any chance you might want to add this? : http://forums.toucharcade.com/showpost.php?p=3028882&postcount=522
Are you using a iPhone 4 /4s/ iPad1 ? The memory fix will be featured in update 1.3, that should probably be next week, sorry. I have been testing the game in multiplayer all day and works pretty well, there seems to be a lot of people online today.
Well, the game is more about tactics and quick reflexes than being precise, moving the stick in a dirrection will snap to a enemy in that general dirrection. It's not that hard for us to disable aim-assist but almost no one asked for this, we'll look into it.
The crossbow is slow but pretty insanely powerful. Although I'm level 46 now so maybe that's in part due to my skills. I could not clear the last level for the life of me using whatever combo of weapons, until I busted out the crossbow. That it was MUCH MUCH easier. It's a slower more methodical assassination type killing. My preferred weapons used to be rocketlauncher/grenade launcher, until I used the crossbow to beat that last level, now I usually go crossbow/ RL or GL.
Tactics and quick reflexes is a great mix, but tactic, quick reflexes AND precision is more fun still From what I'e seen of Meltdown so far, I cannot imagine that an option to completely disable auto-aim (basically, no shooting until the right stick is aimed, and no snapping to targets when it is) would do anything but add to the overall feel of skill and manual control of the game, without subtracting anything from tactics and reflexes. Indeed, for those of us who often prefer fully precision- and reflex-based games, I'd say full manual aiming would most certainly add to the reflex aspect of Meltdown, and perhaps even the tactics... If it is none too much work, I think this would be an easily accessible way to add another small layer to Meltdown's gameplay.
My buddy who has the android version of this game can upgrade both tiers in each weapon! Will this be available in an update for iphone users? I have like 120 extra upgrade chips that aren't being used right now...
What do you mean? Because you don't unlock the second and 3rd tiers till you have put 3 upgrades into their previous tier
You mean he can put 6 points into tier 1 rather than just 3? If thats true, sounds like bug/glitch/hack which would be standard fare for Android
There are 3 tiers; one in the left column and one on the right column. iOS can only fill all 3 on right or left. He can fill all 6 tiers on his android version. Unless that is a bug or...I haven't figured out how to do that :-/
Yes. Is that an Android version of the game? Or did I miss something when upgrading my weapons on iOS? And he is not a hacker; just downloaded his game that way.
That's iOS haha. Maybe you can't put 6 in a tier before you've fully upgraded once, but I just reset my upgrades and put them all in tier 1
# Just tried it myself... Didn't know that was an option in the game. I thought you had to do all on right, or all on left. Would be nice to fill all 18 upgrade slots tho.
I would like to join the ones that are asking for a way to turn the autoaim on and off. And I agree that it would not take away anything from the good gameplay that Meltzown already got. In my opinion it would add perfectly to it!
Yes, you can put all your upgrades in one tier. However, you need to fill three of six upgrade points in one tier before the second tier is unlocked, whether it be on the left side, right side or split between the two.
