Yeah getting fully maxed out was too easy (I did it twice on my two devices) and mp sucks in stability. Hope it gets fixed soon.

  2. It's ok, we'll all be back once the update hits in a couple of days. It's great that there are getting more mp games like this and Neon Shadow. Great fun with 4 players.

Have to admit I prefer co-op iOS games far more than competitive ...one, because I suck, especially at FPS compared to console or PC, and two, it just seems way too easy for kids to hack and ruin the fun for everyone

  4. Yeah, I am on the low end when playing Neon Shadow, but i don't mind, I have fun trying to improve. Since I don't play FPS games too much on my ipad, it too is hard for me to get used to the controls, wish I could play joystick on those.

Meltdown is awesome though cause it's coop, so playing with the better players was quite fun, and makes it easy to get through levels.

It'll be fun when the update releases, we can all play some mp and have some fun!

On Neon Shadow it's good, because there's nothing to hack as it's just pure old school shooting, and then only way to win is with skill, which is a nice change from some of the other multiplayer games out there.

But this is the Meltdown thread haha, so I will say how pumped I am for this update, I can't wait to see where this game progresses :)

Edit: Ironic, a couple hours after I said this, the update came out. Still, it took a weirdly long time...

    I've already said it twice.

So I am finally starting to find some need for the barriers. The problem is that it has taken twenty levels to get to that point. I am also noticing a difficulty spike around Level 21, where my ammunition is barely keeping up at all with the strength of the enemies. This is holding especially true while fighting the Guardians on this level. To combat the anemic ammunition levels, I am having to melee more often, which I did not have to do much at all previously. Of course I will eventually beat this level, but the more I die and go all the way back to the beginning there is an ever increasing frustration that can be easily quelled by simply buying continues via consumable IAP. How ironic.

Max out the first skill tree and ammo never becomes a problem again

Meh... It's not the skill trees. This level isn't giving that much back to me. It's no big deal, but I don't like repeatedly seeing consumable continues if I am in a pattern of dying and having to return to the beginning. It's irritating.

I really like the Shocker, but I wish the barrel length was longer. I also think it would be cool if the electricity would lock on more, so that when you move your character the electricity forms a slight arc and sticks to the enemy like glue. I'd like to see a little Raiden toothpaste laser effect to it, if you know what I mean.

I am finding the Crossbow to be not so fun. Too slow. And I definitely wish the revolver became a dual revolver, but I think I mentioned that previously.

I like the Shotgun as well, especially with the long barrel and higher firing rate.

The Flamethrower is still my favorite.

Except the first skill tree gives you unlimited ammo and therefore you never nd to worry about picking up ammo again?

Are you talking about Nano-Ammo or Specialist? I have Specialist maxed out.

I guess the weapons you use dont replenish fast enough... I pretty much did the entire game with crossbow and grenades and was never completely out of ammo with one weapon for more than a couple seconds, in which case i would just switch to the other...but i suppose if you are using the shocker or flamer or mg, weapons that eat ammo fast, you would rely more on the ammo drops

Still putting this on a hold till the prestige system kicks in. Been juggling oceanhorn, epoch 2, king's league, tilt to move 2, hunter island, papa sangre 2, hello hero, paint it back, and hipster ceo lol

Fantastic. Keep up the great work. It will be exciting to watch this game evolve. Looking forward to Survival and Wave Attack modes big time. Any thought on having destructible items throughout the boards? And what exactly is the Prestige System? Oh, and you can save memory for the bosses by removing the un-spacelike cars and trucks from the boards ;)

I haven't had too much of an issue with ammo until level 21. But yeah, my skills are upgraded up to Fury. The Nano-Ammo will probably give enough ammo for all the weapons, since it regenerates.

You know how there are the little mini-modes in the middle of the boards, like defeating the three waves of enemies and fighting the guardians? It would be cool if there was a mode where you'd be trapped inside that same red barrier, but you had to destroy the posts that create the red barrier to escape. They would have to be tough to destroy and enemies would come at you within one giant wave. You'd have to fend them off while also attacking the four posts. It could be called 'Escape the Perimeter.'
