Tried to join a multiplayer game and game crashed to springboard. Then i realized i had Sorcery and Boson X in the background. Closing those and hardbooting the ipad mini to see if i could join in on a multiplayer game. EDIT: Oh my, this is fun. LOL. Plus, i levelled up twice in one multiplayer game.
As you people like to say, instabuy! This will take my mind off oceanhorn for a while. Is it dual stick?
The isometric dual stick shooter genre is an untapped market, this looks cool and 'insta-buy'. There is a game out for Android called 'Monster Shooter 2' that is similar, both of these games have a cute graphics style that carries the whole game.
Sounds good. In 2 hours it is. That should give me enough time to focus on work for a while. Damn this game killing my productivity.
Looks like I found me a good pick for today's releases, thought I was gonna skip out this week earlier today .
^I'd pick Dead Effect, Orborun, Type Rider and Meltdown, but yeah, Bulkypix's recent offers are pretty good.
What's nice to see as well is that Bulkypix seemed to be largely concentrated on $.99 casual games only. Now they're branching out to more premium offerings.
are there IAP? It looks like i saw some in the long video, but i was curious if someone could list them out
This just gets better and better... I'm assuming the "upgrade card things" are just a faster way to upgrade? DBC
Well they're these little red computer chip card type things that you collect, and you use them to upgrade your weapons only, although upgrading weapons also costs coins. The more you upgrade, to more an upgrade costs. So when it starts it it's like 100 coins and 1 card, and goes up from there. I realize this sounds a little shady, but it really isn't at all, you earn everything at a good pace plus the mystery boxes you collect provide a good amount of bonuses. It woulda been nice if upgrading only required the cards, but then you would just have a plethora of coins so I think it works really nicely. Then there's a skill point system you use to upgrade your skill trees. You get one every time you level up. So basically the IAPs are extremely unobtrusive and unnecessary.
Nah, not shady at all. Pretty standard, "either grind or pay" mechanic, and not troubling in the least for me... 7 more hours... although it might have to be tomorrow depending on how long my "night out" ends up being... DBC
