This is what I'm using. It's the lack of being swarmed by enemies that is the issue for me. I run full upgrade rocket launcher and crossbow
Yes both. Although cover won't work in this part of the mission it's a small area with enemies all around. I played it coop and when we got to the same part the other guy died super fast. Ironically it was glitchy after he died and the ai wasn't moving. Still look a super long time to kill them so it's clearly balanced for mp.
My guess is you have to move real fast and get pretty lucky in the enemies spawning consistently enough to get to 100 You're already really lucky in that you can actually use the rocket launcher without it crashing immediately, every time
Idk man no one else on the forums seems to have a problem. I think the Devs did a great job balancing single player and mp.
This game really needs move/resize buttons option, as well as an optional separate melee. I don't know how you guys get used to it, I roll around an enemy several times before I trigger the magic melee zone. Also, it is a minor nuisance but they really need to remove the draconian wording on the popup you see every time you restart or quit a level. No, I will not be losing everything, stop screaming at me that I will be because I have no choice regardless (1up as IAP, cute) and I understand what I will and will not lose.
Basically have to be stationary so take your thumb off the virtual stick and then melee..like i said in previous posts, its a death sentence at later levels because the animation is so slow and does so little damage and you risk getting swarmed or just obliterated by enemies up close
I have to admit. The more I play, the more I like. Still haven't tried MP, which sounds like it has some issues. Easily worth the price though.
The melee seems more complicated than just "don't be moving", otherwise the problem of wanting to roll and instead melee attacking wouldn't exist. I can understand the theory of making melee an action button rather than a proximity dependant fire button, what we need is a smaller additional button tucked into the corner of the other two. I get that they feel the controls are good as they are, but on an iPad the buttons are huge and enough of a reach that a person is slicing their hand on the knife edge of the iPad. For controls to really work between an iPad and the postage stamp joke of a screen the iPhone is, we really need adjustable size/position of buttons. (can't wait to play this on my Note 2)
Yes, absolutely. I haven't touched MP and am enjoying myself. I will say the forum hyped the game up a bit too much initially. The environment layouts are randomly generated but still, the levels are very similar. Nonetheless, very polished and super smooth animations. Can't beat it for $2. Edit: The enemies are varied enough and there's a nice skill tree to dig into. Along with weapons that have there own unique upgrade tree, there's plenty to like here.
