Multi is fun but It never says anymore than maybe 6 players online. Iv only been in a game w 1 other player. Can't see how it "fills up quick". But great little game nonetheless. Devs...this game is begging for pvp death matches and team deathmatch.
Yep chainsaw appears to be the problem. Any other weapons cause the problem? Because it's annoying having to redownload the game and start from scratch.
I saw 45 people online one time last night! And yes the Devs have a pvp mode as a plan for the future. As well as survival modes
Crashes every time I try to join a game now. Worked fine until I bought the chainsaw. Tried equipping the knife, no luck. Resetting device, no luck. This game needs a bug fix. Aside from that, pretty good overall.
This game is absolutely fantastic. Sorry to hear about the crashes for you all, guess I'll just stick to what is working for me right now, until they fix it. One thing I would very much like to see changed/added, would be the ability to just keep playing with the people who are already in a level with you. Sometimes I find people with whom I work well, and we just dominate, making it all the more fun. Otherwise after beating a level, we have to recreate a server and hope that the same people join our game fast enough? That's a bit annoying. And then we have to completely reestablish a connection too. At least if it did that automatically that would be much nicer. Just a thought.
I think the flamethrower caused me problems. Maybe it's short ranged weapons? Got no idea, guess we will have to wait for an update.
I know the AI is supposedly really good, but is there enough single player content to make it worth it? I'm not too interested in the multiplayer.
At this price, the experience is a steal! Even with all skills learned and weapons upgraded, you'll still find yourself hugging the floor every now and then. You could try getting 3 stars in all missions although there's no real incentive to actually do that at the moment (it could use a scoreboard IMO). You could probably finish all 30 missions in around 4-5 hours of actual play time. You'll be spending more time than that though from messing with the skill trees and you'll definitely want to upgrade all your weapons and taste all the powers of a level 55. The GC achievements are pretty easy, save maybe for one. New modes and more stages will make their way in the near future so that's something to look forward to.
Those with the chainsaw issue...... It is because having two melee weapons bugs it. It is not intended for you to have 2 melee. It is an easy fix. Just go into weapon slot 2 and select a different weapon. Once you do that you will see you cannot go back to a melee weapon in slot two...
Thanks for the info! That will cause the 100% crashes on mission start. We where fixing things all day yesterday and trying to find what that permanent game breaking bug was, I guess in none of our play tests tried to equip a second melee weapon before buying a new ranged weapon. Has anyone had 100% crashes without a melee being equiped in the second range weapon slot? A update will be sent to Apple for review today, it fixes the stability of the multiplayer and bugs related to some weapons.
Awesome news! Can't wait to mess with everyone in co-op without any hiccups Phenomenon, we're stuck at level 54. Is that intended? And I've finished mission 30 a few times but it doesn't get any check mark next to it. Hardly a deal breaker but it still bugs me.
That would be nice. And please, don't anyone say that it's that way because the iPhone4 is old. That would force me to bring back the revered tradition of troutslapping. While some games do run laggy, having a game crash on you out of nowhere and with no previous issues is a bug. Not a hardware problem. But a bug.
I equipped plasma cutter and flame around the same time, don't remember which one I did first, maybe it was the plasma cutter. Then the problems started happening, but good to hear an update is coming! This will be super awesome in mp then!
This. As I stated before, I was surprised by the crashes and even the lag. Take the games I mentioned before. iPhone 4 is able to handle dozens of enemies and particles and effects at once in Minigore and an open island with lighting and weather effects in Indigo Lake, and IMO at least, Meltdown seems much less taxing in terms of number of enemies and other aspects
This game is pretty damned cool, I cringe when I see a badly misspelled English word like 'mistery' but overall the game is quite polished and the IAP while existing is never in your face. I would dearly love a separate little action button for melee, it feels odd to use your dodge button for a weapon...
My buddy is on a 4s and his game crashes religiously mid tutorial. Is this the same issues you Guys are having? For me I'm on iphone 5 with no issues. I have three requests though: private mp rooms, ability to change something on players outfit, and a mp level that is totally random ( not a mission level).
