Melodica update 1.0.1 is LIVE! It is now more responsive when you are drawing and graphics look much smoother than before. Version 1.1 is also on its way and it will include several really nice surprises, stay tuned!
Its really great! i love it Just one more layer would do it for me! one layer with drums would be sooo cool.
Melodica 1.1 is almost ready it includes different speeds and saving options and some other cool things!!! I will post a video soon!
Just picked it up for $0.99. Looking forward to the update. I'd also like the ability to add percussion and change the sound of the tones. It would also be cool if the user had the option to customize how many beats can be played before repeating (i.e. allow for more vertical rows and scroll back and forth to program them). This could allow for writing entire songs instead of short repeating beats.

Just tried this update out and it's great! This is definitely the best tone matrix style app out at the moment. $0.99 for something this polished is a steal. What I'd like to see in the next update is some different instruments. I think it would be cool if you could have more than one instrument on the same grid. Each instrument could be a different colour.
It is a great update! I hope the next update will give us different modes and exporting as a WAV file.
