I don't want to be a hater or anything and I really hope you guys succeed. I'm pretty sure though, that it won't be with this game, at least not with it's current presentation. The game looks awful. The girl, Melina, looks like a drug addict. I bet Amy Winehouse presently (after her death) has better looks. Her proportions are very wrong. For example, her breasts in some picture seem to be way below than where they should be, and I don't take Melina as an old woman. You should really have with you someone with art knowledge and who actually went through some drawing class and stuff. The scenario looks so poor and lacks quality overall. Textures are bad, they aren't even well applied to the objects, it's clear that all scenario was created with cubes inside a program that is not made for such a task, and textures applied with wrong mapping (it's aparently plane, and not fit for each object). There are no shadows so the elements don't even seem to link with each other, they're just placed there aparently floating. I know that iphone and ipad don't have a lot of capabilities in this domain, but you can work around it with texture work, paiting some shadows on the textures. I strongly advise you guys start using some real modeling software for making the map, for example Blender that is open source. The user interface looks so.. I don't really have a word to describe it, so I'll use a program name instead, "Microsoft Paint". To every element there is a texture applied with no aparent coherency. Menu buttons are completely different in style from all else. And overall there's just so much lack of care, for example the sword button is an oval instead of a circle, the sword is drawn from straight lines, there's a really exagerated shine near melina's face, that looks almost like a laser is reflecting there! And why is Melina's face there? I supose she is the only controlable character, so what information do we get from seeing her face there? That is usually used to let people know which character they're controlling. I can only guess you're do something like in "Doom" where you see the damage/blood in the character face so you know how's your HP but man, Melina's face is already pretty screwed up, I can't imagine how she will look beaten up. Well, in conclusion you should really work on your presentation/graphics, maybe try to get someone good with that on your team. Don't take this project forward like this or you'll end up wasting so much time and you'll probably get very low return. Of course I can't even imagine if the game has a great story and rpg elements and all, but if it does, you're killing the game even before people can experience a good story. Good luck
Video LIVE Preview Okay and here is the live preview for all of you, hope you like it Game Scorpion Inc. http://www.gamescorpion.com
Omg... (in a bad way)... another 'one of those' indie 3D hack 'n slash games that feature weak combat system. Flashing character/enemy when hit? Add some tactile feedback dammit! 2D flash games can do better by at least making enemies recoil from hits! I know the game is still in its production stages, but with the current state, this will just be another piece of below-average indie attempt at 3D hack 'n slash games that doesn't provide much 'fun'. Don't even get me started on the enemy design... I've fought and slain MANY enemies and creatures and monsters and fiends and demons and bosses and whatever HIDEOUS CREATURE that the developer throws at me but that... THING is the single most disgusting monster I have EVER seen. Not trying to slam the game or anything but this game at its current stage just feels and seems below average without many redeeming properties. Then again, I earnestly hope more effort can be put into polishing this game's graphics (carrapeta) and the combat system. Putting an 'indie' tag on a below average game usually don't generate increased sales (though it might actually decrease sales...)

Responses Klemen: Yes, for ease of use for players, it is there to help direct players to various enemies so you know if you're going to be attacked from behind, etc. It also directs you to the next area. When you play the game you will understand its functionality more. Thanks for the great question
I know what's the arrow is for. It's used in other games mostly as a quest helper or it's showing you the way. My point was, couldn't you move that arrow on the floor or on top of the screen, because it looks disturbing right above characters head. Will there be an on/off option for the arrow?
Looks terrible, and more importantly, awkward and not at all fun to play. The indie spirit is admirable though.
New Screen Shots Its been a few weeks, thought I would put some screen shots as to our progress. Still a lot more left to do, but we are moving along smoothly. I hope these graphic previews generate some buzz. We are working hard daily to push for launch asap! For those who dont know, we are a very small new company that just started in mobile game development and this is our first game. We hope people like it and will buy it and support us so that we may continue to bring out even more great games. Thank you so very much to all the positive support. We are very grateful for it God Bless!
Latest images!!!!! Here are the latest images of our game... WE ARE ABOUT TO PUT IT IN FOR APPLE SUBMISSION OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS! We pray it gets approved! Nav

words cannot describe how awful this looks. half the time, you can't even tell what you're looking at.
grafic dont look good ya but if you take gothic 1 for example ,which doesnt look good nowadays ,too, it is a really awesome rpg hoping for the same here
Gothic 1 is more than 10 years old! There is no excuse to make this kind of graphics (awful) nowadays; the iphone is totally capable of supporting better textures/more geometry/some effects/etc. Game Scorpion artist should and must take some tutorials and start practicing more, the textures looks terrible and the geometry isn´t better; with all available tools (and plenty for free), you should be doing much much better art than you are showing us. The idea of the game is good and we can see the guy writing at this forum is working hard, but you are not in the right way to success; even the price tag of 4.99 is waaaay too high for a below average 3D looking game... Graphics aren´t everything in a game, but at least you should achieve the "good enough" line; right now, the game looks too bad even for the iphone 2nd gen. I´m just trying to help the developers see what most of their future "customers" expect in a 3d rpg game.
