Yes, those ratings are ridiculous. Odd Bot Out was a complete experience. The ability to design our own levels would have been awesome but just would have been a bonus. Also, are we able to download the game now? How are you all making maps? Icant it in the store..
You definitely do. As a rule, I don't post to public Facebook pages but I definitely plan to repost some of my levels on TA when the game goes live.
I am not so good with Facebook to be honest, I am never on there, so don't know how to post a level of mine, not that they are any good ha ha.
It's still in beta. But if you PM me your email I'll send you a TestFlight invite! Great! Would you mind just making a test post now, during beta? I'd like to see if it works as expected before launch. It doesn't need to be fancy, only 15 people have liked the page so almost no one will see the post anyway
Thanks Roger!! Seems to work well. Visitor posts seem to be automatically accepted and displayed in the left margin. Then I can share them to give levels more exposure in the page's main timeline. All thanks to the QR card feature
Finally got around to making something with the automatic slider. As with many of the levels I build, I'm quite pleased with the mechanics but it's not pretty! I also quite like the way that B behaves when he's in the area with the goal. If you take the goal out and replace it with a solid block, he will run round in circles indefinitely thanks to his path-finding-in-tunnels ability.
Here's another level based on the behaviour I noted in my last post. Sorry for double-posting, but I can only attach one image per post from Safari on iOS.
Cleverer than it first appears. Both of them I wonder what else one can do with the ball+autoslider mechanics you invented! In other news, I uploaded the app video preview today. Getting close to submission
Hello. Beta testing here. Haven't said much because I haven't found anything wrong. But... Wow!!! This is one of my favorite games! The quality is impressive. It reminds me of a certain game by NitenXXX that shall not be named... He he I wish I could find a bug, but alas, I have not.... I love this game!! I love this game!! I love this game!!
Hello. I've been playing this game for a few hours now, and im out of words. This one is gonna be great!. Love everything from it. Have not found bugs or anything but there are a couple things that i think could be improved: 1) Zoom levels should be greater, so you can appreciate the levels from multiple angles and detail levels. 2) Free camera on by default: i find the fixed camera harder to work with, specially when you need to touch inside doors or gates or whatever. 3) maybe it was designed like this, but the music feels weird... loops that dont really loop, or feel out of synch... i dont know, it feels really weird. 4) Level scan feature is great, however, i think there should be a lil more explanation on how to use it. I went in there thinking that the camera would scan the code like a regular QR code app would do, but actually you have to take the picture for it to register. 5) The donation pannel is showing negative values. is that supposed to work like that? or is because of my currency? I'll keep on testing, but so far, so good. This is gonna be one of the best puzzlers of this year!.
Nice use of the auto sliders! Also love the title. Are the red robots poolice Thanks! Not sure if you mean ability to zoom out more, or ability to rotate camera up/down, or both? This is because of how Android handles permissions. For a live camera view the app has to ask for camera permission on install, at which point the user has no idea why the app would want to access the camera. "Is it trying to spy on me!?" But snapping a single photo can be done without camera permission. This is most definitely not intended! (If you buy, would I have to pay you?) Thanks for reporting! Could you send me a screenshot? On Twitter if you like.
I meant the ability to zoom in/out more. Camera rotation is ok. I actually like playing on free camera more than with the fixed one. About the donation thing, i'll send you a pic on Twitter. Thanks for the clarification of the camera thing. Still, i think you should add a lil explanation in there.
