+1 They didn't make a review per se, just a comparison. That's not analizing pros and cons of the game, just comparing one with the other. IMO you can't just give a 6/10 to a game without explaining what's good and bad about the game itself. Level making & sharing and app size after installed are amazing, but they didn't mention these in their "review"...
Martin - this may be a dumb question but is there a reason that some QR codes appear quite small in the box on the level cards? E.g. Piramid Madness and The Alien Attack on the Facebook user levels page yesterday? Seems like they'd be easier to scan if they were bigger.
Can a user created level have hints? If not implementing would be cool. Find myself having trouble on some of them in terms of what to do or really where to start.
I check whether the QR code fits double-size on the card (which improves scanning performance). At some point adding more complexity will cause the double-size code not to fit and it'll revert to normal size, making the QR code seem smaller.
Wonderful Game I'm head over heels in love with Mekorama and it's growing community of enthusiasts and level developers. Everything about this game: the beautiful graphics, interactive music, level editor, collectable QR level cards, and insanely small space it takes up on my phone... this game is an instant classic. Looking forward to learning and sharing with you all here. Also, if anyone frequents the Google Plus network, we now have an Unofficial Mekorama G+ Community as well https://plus.google.com/communities/105196223583318079815
I love Mekorama and the fan user sites with levels are perfect! I do hope this gets updated to not allow us to have duplicate levels. As we now have a variety of sources for user levels it would be beneficial to make the QR reader tell us that we already have the level installed.
Out of curiosity, does anyone know if the dev has shared any results of the app's pricing experiment? It could be encouraging for other devs out there, if it turns out even a small percentage of people will indeed reward a developer's work, especially if it's at a rate higher than the usual paltry 99¢ or so.
These are easyleasy and a beginner player can also pass these levels easily. I hope that everyone can pass these levels easily
Quite enjoyed this game when I came across it. I’m done with it. Definitely one of the lightest games and most engaging games.
