The Fireball was moved to Stage 2 and the blue Supernova was moved to Stage 3 in the last update, but we're putting them both back in to Stage 1 in the next update, by popular demand
Just so you know, you don't need Megapoints to unlock the next stage - if you can complete a stage, the next stage will be unlocked. The next update should make things a bit easier at the beginning, so hopefully you'll see Stage 2 soon
Yes, powerups are permanent, and will appear in the game randomly after they've been unlocked. Save Stars are a bit different though. They're single-use since they're for emergencies only.
The Super Magnet has a much stronger magnetic pull, which brings in more coins, while the SuperNova (blue Fireball) boosts you much higher.
It is indeed out although we have discovered an issue where some people are seeing a crash on startup so we are recommending that people do not update at this time. We are currently working on a fix that we hope to push out to Apple shortly. Sorry for any inconvenience you guys may have experienced.
why is there always a bug? especially now that you have so many players you can't afford to keep having crashing bugs with every update...
Certainly I can't deny we've been having issues with a few of our latest updates. We're doing our best to track down all the problems and push a fix out to you guys soon.
Did you delete the game? All your unlocked items and MP should be safe when you update, but if you delete the game to re-install it, all your information will be deleted as well. As for the crash some people have been experiencing after the latest update, we're getting closer to tracking it down and figuring out why it didn't show up in any of our testing or in Apple's testing. We'll get a fix out as soon as we can!
What version of iOS are you running? Hi all, For those of you running into the crash after updated to version 7 (2.0.7) of Mega Jump it would be great to get some information from you.. - What version of iOS are you running (3.1.3, 4.0.2 etc.)? - What device are you using (iPod 2G/3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, etc.)? Any feedback you can provide is a great help.
Thanks all for the comments and feedback about our latest update. We are just running through a few final tests but it looks like we have a solution for those that are experiencing a crash. Watch for an announcement soon.
