I think the thing that separates this game from others in the doodle jump genre is that this has the "pay to play" meaning that you can unlock things by buying them or unlocking them. No other game like this has that imo

Well Froggy Jump has something like this BUT I really don't care for how they balance the ability to earn credits within the game vs. paying for them. It would literally take EONS of gameplay to buy anything in the game whereas here, while it would take some concentrated effort, most things are earnable after a few days of solid playing (at least they were, I haven't seen the prices of items in the latest update). I have no problem with the developers offering players a "pay to play" shortcut, but it should still be DOABLE just by persistent play.

We're still waiting on Apple to release the update that fixes the recent crashing problem. Again, we're really sorry for the inconvenience.

The in-app purchases kill it for me. Thank goodness I didn't purchase it.

Liking the new stages....BUT i don't appreciate how literally everything is now unlocked by mega points. I mean 6,000 mp for a powerup? Seriously? I mean at least lower the amount needed to unlock things....I also believe that a save star should not be a one time use but a single unlockable thing that is able to be used infinately. I would also like a menu or back button in all of the other screens.

However I do like the new coin formations and the animations for the different powerups. I have not had a chance yet to unlock all of the other things. I also like the fact that you guys have put so much love into this game. 6 updates of the caliber that you have made them definately says something. Will there be more?

Finally, I mean in no way to take away the good things of mega jump. It is an extremely fun pick up and play game that will always remain on my itouch and also like the way you incorporated unlockables into the game by actually playing it, I just wish the price for unlocking them were less steep. I wish you the best of luck for future updates and endeavors developers of MEGA JUMP!

That would make the game play itself, and the leaderboards wouldn't be about who's the best player (or the one with most money, like now.) but who would have the endurance to sit and hammer a button for as long as possible.

I have one complaint however, I think you should add a "Are you sure?" prompt to when you buy stuff. I've accidentally managed to buy 2 save stars for 1000 Mega points when I didn't want to.

No, it would still only be the ONCE per game but, unless you missed it, once you use the boost IT IS GONE. I too am NOT liking the idea of these power-ups I spent my hard earned coins only working ONCE and then needing to be re-purchased.

I think I'm of the general attitude, especially when you're charging real money for some of these items, they simply can't be one time things.

Wow, yes, I think there needs to be some rebalancing done with the MP upgrades. First of all, this game is already a paid game. Then you need to pay even more to get more unnecessary stuff in a paid game. Pretty much this is a non-free freemium.

While the developers are great and I'd love to support them, they've got to be a little more reasonable.

Everything can be bought with mega points and mega points are very easy to earn if you play this game. I had enough points to unlock 2 characters plus the shield power-up when the first update came out. If you are scoring 200000-300000 every game it takes very little time to accumulate the MPs, no reason at all to spend RL money in this game. It's worth every penny because it's a fun game and I even bought it back when the new characters cost 99 cents.

Also, the new update works perfectly.

    Awesome update!

    Plays smoothly now!

I find the Cost of MP to be overpriced though...

And where have all the blue and red boosters gone?

About the save stars... If you use one can it still be used in your next game? Like is it a permanent powerup?

Nope. Used once and gone...but crap, I didn't catch that they no longer appear naturally in the game!

C'mon guys, I could even accept them being little rarer but PLEASE don't tell me these boosts are ONLY available as purchases!

I also think we need access to content a little easier, I've always considered Mega Jump to be a Doodle Jump killer, but if I keep having to pay then I might just consider moving on to something else.

I couldn't agree more. The prices to unlock characters, especially stages, are ridiculously high.
