The first update to Mecho Wars for the iPhone/iPod Touch will contain a few UI updates which were recommended by the players themselves. Here is a screenshot of the update to the troop purchase screen when a factory is selected. It is a work-in-progress, so there are some things that are subject to change. The UI update will also include a preview of enemy unit movement and attack range as well. There are a few little tweaks here and there too. This update should be available within the next week.
Thanks Luc. The more I play the game, the better it gets. So any updates you provide will only make it better.
I'd like to add my thanks as well. With these small updates alone this will become a must have for any TBS fan. Thanks for listening to our ramblings.
Awesome :O Exactly what it needs. I feel kind of clueless without that information to stare at every few seconds x3
I believe this was already a must buy for any true TBS fan. However, the update will hopefully push more in to the fold. The app store is truly a unique place where user feedback guides developers updates so heavily.
yay, this was what was missing in the game. Just a suggestion, i'm not sure if this is already in the game but, if the water turns to ice and you have your troops on the ice for too long and the ice changes back to water i think you should lose all your troops that were on the ice. Can you also add a fast foreward button? Sometimes I just want to speed up the enemy's turns.
That is what happens. I learned that the hard way. I think the water unfreezes at 5 am. All my bird-guys and all the land-guys that were on the ice exploded. I like that suggestion. The AI is so predictable sometimes I don't need to watch how it unfolds. I would welcome a 'swipe to skip' option (or something like that.)
we are submitting the update tommorow, so next week I will tell you guys when it's out you will love it, I'm thinking of taking a video to show you guys, anyone interested?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qE_RmPHlh5g It shows the UI update and where you can see where a enemy unit can move and their attack range.
