We identified the issue and a fix (with a lot of other new stuff) will be included in version 1.1.2 probably going live today or tomorrow
Mech Battle v1.1.2 is now available for Android and iOS (submitted for iOS, live either today or tomorrow) New – New core stat “Aim Speed”. Different mechs now have different Aim speeds. Aim speed is the time required to rotate the cockpit to the desired rotation. – Paint Job Menu got a preview button to easier preview available paint jobs – New smoke effects for destroyed mechs – Added explosion damage and force fall-off for all explosive weapons. Depending on the distance to the centre of an explosion/missile-impact the damage and physical explosion force now varies. Balancing Changes – Atlas Aim Speed reduced from 360°/s to 90°/s – Zephyr speed boost time reduced from 5s to 3s – We now match players with rank < 5, rank < 10 and all players with rank >= 10 – Plasma and LaserMK2 damage for level 10 has been reduced by around 40% – Reduced shield reload times from 100s to 60s Fixes – Better spawn point handling. Flag spawns at random but predefined positions, usually somewhere in the middle of the map. Great game but i am having problems. Many times when the battle start, my mechs are unable to shoot. today, for example, during a battle (highlands i think) i made it all the way near the flag. It was a long journey only to meet an opponent and not be able to fire back for a time. I tried everything and its as if my weapons were disabled. needles to say, he was able to take my health down halfway before i was able to fire back. This happens a lot, not most times, but a lot. Another issue is i am unable to view any videos for rewards. I see a banner for a game at the bottom of the screen, and the X in the top right corner. I tried counting to thirty to click the X but still the game restarts and im not rewarded. Im rank 12 now and this has always been an issue. Also i read thru this whole thread and noticed you mentioning something about the AI instantly turning aound to shoot at a player. this still happens. And a big PP of mine with the game is that i feel targeted. Players spawn not to far behind me and im thinking its the AI who spawns and launches RR8 type weapons at me immediately, as if there arent better targets. I will be in a 1v1 duel and have the opponent nearly finished, but then im being aattacked from aall sides while the opponent (live or AI) gets to escape or finish me off! Its no big deal, but a lil frustrating, although im used to it. But still, i feel like a target and dont understand this logic. this is the only game i play and i play it a lot haha. Just my notes/thoughts. The name here is my ingame name if it matters
